Misleading and terrible service
I was trying to obtain the sewer diagram for a property and found that it could be ordered through the InfoTrack portal. A few other reports were also listed for the same property. I paid $53 for the sewer diagram, and the system stated that the report would be available within an hour.
I did not receive anything within the stated timeframe. The next morning, I received an email with an attachment, but instead of the report, it was a letter saying they could not locate the diagram and that no refund would be issued because the fee was used to conduct the search.
This is extremely disappointing and feels quite misleading. If the sewer diagram was not available for this address, it should not have been listed on the portal. I am very frustrated with this experience and have effectively lost $53 for a report that was never provided

The listed search for a sewer service diagram is available when the relevent authority, who in this case is Sydney Water, indicates that a search can be made for the property details that have been looked up.
In these cases it is Sydney Water indicating to us that they they will not refund InfoTrack the cost of searching their records.
We are happy to investigate refunding orders for our customers that encounter on a pre order basis.

Not useful when finding a Unit in a multi-unit complex
Property (Unit in a multi-unit complex) did not come up in search. Did not recognise Unit number. Had to complete own research to find a volume and folio number, then pay InfoTrack for a title search.

Hi there,
If the property details are registered with the state titles office against a specific address format, then our system would not be able to show variations of that address when looked up.
In such cases we recommend looking up the property with the lot number and the plan number, or the volume and folio numbers, as this is how the titles office denote the property details within their records.

The interaction is fantastic. The issue that I have is that I have 1300 properties under management and the sourcing of the required documents for the portfolio will be extremely expensive so I will be using the service reluctantly due to this cost
