I have had the same experience as…
I have had the same experience as everyone else.At this point the 50p is pending,so bank unable to do anything.I froze my card and cancelled it.I will post another review and let trip advisor know if it worked so any one else who gets Robbed can do the same.

My review of info-record.com
My review of info-record.com mirrors what has generally been written before on here. I was interested in purchasing an item on eBay and I thought that I would "check out" the seller, as far as is possible before committing to purchase.
Info-record.com suggested that they could access 9 business records (good or bad) on the individual concerned and I could access these 9 findings by signing up to a 48 hour trial period for just 50 pence. I paid the 50 pence via my Visa debit card, to then be told that No business records were available. I had been conned, but at least it was only 50 pence! Chalk it down to experience, I thought!
4 days later info-record.com took £39.00 from my bank. What's more, this was a monthly subscription!!
I went on to their website to complain and ask for my money to be refunded, to be greeted with, "email address not recognised or not registered."
Next, I phoned my bank, who have agreed to refund my money and have opened a dispute with the above company. They have also stopped any further payments. This outfit needs to be publicised widely, in order that others don't fall into the trap that I did.
The seller on eBay is one of their "good guys" I'm pleased to be able to report!

I paid £0.50 for an international telephone lookup which the site failed to return. I tried three separate browsers Google, Safari and Edge and the website search failed in all three.
The site then took £39.00 from my Bank Account as the initial query is for a 48 hour trial and the small print states you will be charged £39 thereafter.
Thankfully I was able to revoke the charge via my Bank.
Absolute sharp practice.

Arnaque bien sûr ! Ce site a prélevé 39€ sur la carte de ma fille mineure depuis 3 mois. Impossible de les joindre par téléphone et impossible aussi de se désinscrire.
Je vais porter plainte, c'est lamentable.
Et ne prenez pas la peine de me répondre avec votre mail type, je dépose une plainte aussi à la CNIL.

Absolute scam. No details and made out it was 50p then took £39 from my bank account and wanted to continue each month! Has anyone ever been able to aquire information from them? This company needs to be investigated. The only positive in all this is my account was closed quickly.

Avaid at all costs very expensive not £0.50 but £40 you have to pay ridiculous
This is very close to a scam company, especially read the small print charge of £39 which you only get 48 hours to cancel, which is not obvious and clear to someone who doesn't see small print, worst thing is that you cant cancel because email is not recognized, fuming now because also its a terrible search phone number not found but actually was found by myself on facebook page so not good service after all even if you have to pay £40

A scam!
I paid a nominal fee to obtain an address, but this was never supplied. A refund was refused. I then learnt that, without my knowledge, I had been enrolled in a monthly subscription. Fortunately my Bank was able to retrieve this. The company website gives an address in Ireland, but the address on my Bank statement was in France, so a difficult company to seek redress from. Based upon my experience I don't believe that this is a legitimate, law-abiding company. I think they are scammers, as others on Trustpilot have noted..

I contacted these people for a refund…
I contacted these people for a refund of £40.60 as their service was unable to locate a person I was trying to locate.
Having found a Lloyds bank card on a Friday I wanted to find the owner and return their lost card save them
the worry over weekend. So I come across info-record.com and decided to part with what I thought was 0.40 pence. Days later £40.60 was taken out of my account. Absolutely disgusted with these people.

Shockingly poor customer service
I logged on to use this site and paid the 50p for 2 day trial. I did not get a result to the search I completed, it seemed strange to get no returns so I tested the system by searching for details of a few friends I knew data should be available for, again nothing. It literally appears like this is an empty database! I emailed the company to ask for the member ship to be cancelled, explaining it had not proved helpful at all. Two days later £39 came out of my account. I emailed again to cancel subscription and ask for confirmation of refund and was refused quoting terms and conditions etc. I literally just gave £40 to a shark.company for nothing in return. Seriously do not use, there are other options out there, dread to think how much they are creaming by paying to be top of the Google list

IT'S A TRAP!!!
In August 2023 my friend signed me up for the '50p' website and since that day have not used. I had 29.90 GBP taken out of my account monthly. My friend also had no idea about the subscription. I emailed them about the situation and asked for a refund as I did not authorize any payments after that 50p purchase. All the emails have been going to my ex friend's email address who I am not in contact with anymore. Even after explaining this to them they refused a refund for a service that I not only did not know I had but didn't use. I want them to confirm the cancellation of the subscription. Judging by the reviews, similar situations have happened to a lot of people. Not happy.

Yup. Wish I'd looked them up on TP too. Total rip-off. I did the 50p 'trial' thing too. Thought it was a first month offer. Two days later £39 was taken from my account. They won't refund and say that my 'journey' on their sign-up pages explained everything and also referred me to their ToB. Don't even get to use the service for the month I've already paid for! Nasty little scammers.

Scam - Will not refund so making formal complaint
Terrible site has taken £39.00 despite me cancelling within the period. When I have contacted their customer services they say they have no record of my account. I keep trying to login and it will not allow me and keeps coming up with a message saying that the link (which they have just sent me) does not work. Absolute scam. DO NOT USE them. I have taking out a formal complaint with the Ombudsman.

Wish I had looked at trust pilot before using this website. I did one search that came up with nothing and immediately cancelled my subscription- or so I thought. They have scammed me out of two payments of £39.50. I asked for a refund but hold out little hope, There must be some way of reporting info-perso.com for improper business practices.

So..what I have learned is to NEVER…
So..what I have learned is to NEVER again give my credit cards details to any unknown company before checking companies reviews.
I (thought I) never signed for a subscription, called their customer service today. They were supernice. They said when I once paid 50 p for some nr (I do not recall that but that is my problem now) this meant that I am automatically subscribed to their services in the future.
Their business model might be to charge subs from people like me that have 35 pounds a month drawn without noticing it. When we notice it they are so nice so we would not complain to the EU- level customer protection authorities. I have learned my lesson, lost "only" 200 euros, will be very careful in the future. Blaming myself basically for being sloppy with my card.
