They appear to charge £0.50 for a one off search but that is not what they really do. In the very small print the £0.50 means you have 48 hrs to cancel or they will try and take £39 from your account each month. Meanwhile the search you do for £0.50 is pointless - they provide no information. For example, try searching for info on a non-sensible name like "dkdjhn! Snsn$£" and they will tell you have have all kinds of info that they will release for £0.50. You pay the £0.50, there is not information provided and they try and debit £39 two days later hoping you will not notice.

Paid £0.50 for a supposed 'report' which never came and then my bank alerted me to a £39 recurring monthly charge from the same company! At NO time did I consent. I have had to be issued a new debit card and they are investigating.

BEWARE THIS COMPANY. They have totally shafted me and I am furious. I wanted to try and find a person in the UK for which they wanted .50 euros (I live in France). I was happy to pay this, although the information I gained was useless to me. Imagine my surprise when I found they had taken 39.90 euros from my account as the first of a monthly payment for my subscription!!! I contacted the company, but they refused to return my money. I did manage to cancel the account. Apparently it tells you in the 'terms and conditions' that they automatically enrol you into a monthly account. It's a scandal, and a scam.

Absolute scam. Do not use this company. As with others, I tried to locate a relative. I paid 50p, via credit card to enable my search. I was completely unaware that a monthly payment of £39 would be taken from my account.Having taken the 50 pence, £39 was taken the next day, followed by another £39 the following month. Having contacted the company they had zero interest and stated that their terms were quite clear and that I had signed for a monthly subscription. This is totally incorrect. I merely wanted a one off search. Not withstanding that they could not provide a result for my requested search, they refused any refund as I had exceeded the 14 day cool off period. Do not use this company, from the tone of their customer service advisor, (abrupt), they are fully aware that this is a scam and money making tool.

I tried this service and it could not even find any records for me. I tried several famous people and it didn't work.
They are scamming people out of the money, hoping that people will ignore the cost and the effort to complain about it.

When I used the service I agreed to the 50 pence charge. There was no place that clearly stated that more would be taken from my account. Later I found a separate debit for £39.99.
Based on my experience that search did not return any results I was shocked to see that extra charge.
Please can you give me a full refund for the 39.99 plus the 50 pence. Thank you kindly.
