They stopped me at front door because I was wearing an ikaf abaya as a male. They told me I cannot enter as I am wearing a pyama. They showed me a law that says you cannot enter a pyama but nothing says that a ikaf abaya is a pyama. Look on the ikaf website. I am from Moroccan/Belgian origin. Everywhere ikaf is worn. Morocco , Europe everywhere. I know as an engineer at least how a pyama looks like. Never been kicked out at a shop. First time. Worst experience ever! Been in ikeas over the world and my clothes were never an issue…..

Disappointing First and Last Experience with IKEA Saudi Arabia

I placed a very simple order (Order #2004119928) through IKEA Saudi Arabia, and it turned into an exhausting and deeply frustrating experience.

Despite entering the correct delivery address (Jeddah), the order was mistakenly processed for Abha. After reporting the issue and waiting patiently for another week, the order was canceled — without my consent.

I received a message asking if I canceled the order; I replied "No", but it was canceled anyway. When I contacted customer service, I was told, quite coldly, that "nothing could be done." No apology, no compensation, and no responsibility taken.

This was my first time trying IKEA Saudi Arabia — and I regret it. As a long-time Amazon customer, I expected better: timely deliveries, accountability, and respect for the customer. IKEA Saudi Arabia failed on all fronts.

It’s disappointing that a brand like IKEA allows this kind of careless and unprofessional service under its name. I hope IKEA Global is paying attention — this is how reputations are lost.

Ordered for my new apartment at the…

Ordered for my new apartment at the beginning March, 4 weeks later no delivery, customer services say the phone number is wrong - apparently you cannot have a UAE number and order from IKEA KSA for delivery in Riyadh. IKEA just cancel my order, without telling me. I phone up and find out. That counts as the worst customer experience I have had. The irony is, I went onto Amazon, ordered the same items, at a lower price, and got them delivered in 2 days. My advice, don't bother with IKEA if you want things delivered - just stick with Amazon.

Bad service at the store, WORSE after purchanse.DO NOT BUY HERE DO NOT BUY

We have live in EU, UAE, INDIA and KSA. IKEA KSA is a totally different experience for the WORSE. I lost my faith in the brand.
1. On the shop there is no one available to help. If you see some staff they are wandering around doing their things and i needed to walk half the shop to find someone to help. In addition there were other customers so after findng someone I had to wait for 20 minutes to get my service done.
2. They guy told me that the delivery would be 5-7 days,( it was 24th april) and he made my pay and go and in the reciepe I got the delivery date was for 10 days later. I asked him and he told me: "busy days,it will be delivered the 4th of may " I accepted and paid at the counter.
3. On 4th May NO ONE CAME, NO ONE CALL NOTHING.
4. Me and my husband called the support phone multiple times, ( like 10 times) most of the times they say: not english, we will call you to your number after 10/20min. They never called, sometime they say. No english call later.
5. We went to the shop and they told us: do not call to CS, they do not know things and they do nothing, come here better. ( great to see the know inside that the have a useless CS center)
6. In the shop they treated us better and confirmed the delivery for 15th May. and said it was an issue of availability and their team missed to call us.
7. 15th May is here and NOONE FROM IKEA CONTACTED, NO ONE CALLED, CS DOES NOT KNOW ENGLISH AND I SEND EMAILS AND THEY DO NOT REPLY!

It does not worth the suffering to buy in IKEA, your thinghs may never come or come with 2weeks or month delay and they will not even contact you. Go to other home supplier in the Kingdon because this one does not deserve the cost!

I have a guilty pleasure.
After careful consideration, I decided to buy my bed frame from IKEA SA. I was excited as it took almost a month to decide on the design and hard-wearing. I bought it, assembled it, and was as happy as one non-Swedish person could be. Then it happened. Eight months in, the bed broke. Cracked down the middle. The beautiful bed frame that I so painstakingly chose and assembled had broken. And all I did was sit on it. I knew this was going to be a challenge. After communicating with customer service. They told me the product is not inclusive of the warranty policy !!??

I need my shipment

Delivery timing is very bad I have been order from more than one month , no one call me and I didn’t have anything until now ..
I even go to the shop and no one help me !
I don’t no what is the next scenario
When they will deliver my shipment
The problem is I have been buy for this shipment!!!

After 2 weeks of placing a paid order, another 2 weeks to wait!

After 2 weeks of placing a confirmed paid order, no feedback from Ikea. I raised a complaint, to which they immediately "Confirmed" my order, and gave me 2 new weeks as expected time to deliver!!
I understand a 2-3 days delay, but more than 1 month and the mistake is Ikea's!! I live literally 10 minutes away from their showroom. Imagine if it was a different area...
In addition to above, the customer service experience was one of the worst, as I only received the same answer "we will delivery in 2 weeks time".
We are all living in a pandemic and international crisis, but other online providers are shipping my orders within 2 days and internationally!
