Bad bad trader
Bad bad trader. I bought an Audi RSQ3 registration RS03TWS for anyone that wants to do their own checks. I paid £18250 cash so no finance. I was given 6 months warrenty (premium) warrenty. But he’s left the policy number off. I spoke to the dealer for over 30 mins about car and got send videos and it sounded perfect. I traveled 250 miles for the car which took me 6 hours and first sight I loved the car. I paid for it and drove it home and there was a humming noise coming from the rear. I told him the very next day and he said it’s probably the tyres or because it’s a Quattro. Then I left it a couple of weeks. My local Audi garage took it for a test drive and looked the car over and said it was the rear differential bearing noise. So I rang the dealer I bought it from. I asked twice for the reference number for the warrenty as it says it covers diffs and gearboxes and so on. He said NO I will ring them myself. 3 days passed and a further 2 emails and texts and phone calls. (Blocked me) so I bit the bullet and took it to a gearbox specialist and they gave me a diagnosis of a read differential issue and said the damage to it only gets this bad over years. So obviously my dealer I bought it off from was aware. The repair cost for a new diff is £4800 plus vat. Also 9 weeks on still no registration documents. Like I said my reg is RS03TWS so you guys can check for yourself. Please DO NOT buy a car from these guys. I obviously will be contacting consumer rights and going down the solicitor and bailiff route once I get my car back. Stay away guys.

Not possible to give 0 stars , they sold a car to a family member with a major engine failure , oil in the water/cooler tank , they refused accept the car back after 159 miles when was spotted and claimed in the 15 day after purchased , serious legal breach , refused to fix the car properly , not a serious/honest trader . A legal complain was done with a solicitor to the UK consumer dept and Trading Standards , will follow to court if required .
Please avoid , if something goes wrong they don’t assist and will leave you with a car not running .

Please please do not buy off these ,, all the negative reviews are correct most of the positive reviews are bought , they are con merchants . I have had the same experience as most on here ,,,, I’m taking them to court , contacted the so called warranty company who say they do not deal with ideal car so that’s a scam also , trading standards and citizens advice have had numerous complaints , they have been taken to court several times …Avod them like the plague….

I recommend paying attention to the negative reviews here—I wish I had. I regret purchasing a car from this place. I was told there was a 3-month warranty and to bring the car back if there were any problems, but no written warranty was provided. Now, as I try to book the car in for a mechanical fault, the staff have been rude, unhelpful, and have not resolved the issue.
We brought a car a month ago and have had ongoing issues. Despite booking multiple appointments over the past four weeks, every visit ended in excuses, no time, engineer on holiday, road closed, or being told to leave the car for 2 -3 days. They never called to cancel or reschedule and we've made several wasted trips to the garage. The service has been extremely poor and unprofessional, and one staff member, Sam, was particularly rude and lacked basic manners. Please do not ignore the negative reviews, you will regret it!!

Unfortunately I hadn't seen these reviews before I went to buy a car from here and I regret it. They WILL tell you anything to not give your deposit back if you don't buy a car.
I phoned up to reserve a car, like it said to do on their website, where it also says that the deposit is 100% refundable. I confirmed that the deposit was refundable at the end of the conversation and the guy (who was the manager) told me, and I quote "if you change your mind or for whatever reason you find the car is not as advertised, you get your deposit back, 100%".
I then got another call a couple of days later to say that they've added an MOT to the car and given it a service. I just thought this was good communication on their part.
So everything was fine up until now, then it started to go downhill when I got to the dealership. Firstly, I was asked what time I would be there and to let them know when I was on my way so they could get the car prepared. Got there at the time I said and the manager wasn't there. I was stood around for 20 minutes waiting, before he finally turned up and gave me the keys to look around the car.
Long story short, the car was not as advertised. There was significant damage to the side with a shoddy job of attempting to fix it. They did offer a discount to their credit, however not enough to cover how much it would cost to actually repair it properly. I asked for a lower price to take this into account and they refused, so I asked for my deposit back, to which they replied "we don't give deposits back if we've done a service on the car". I was a little confused as 1. I never got told this before now and 2. I never asked for a service in the first place. They were fully aware that all I wanted to do was come and inspect it, and that the deposit was just to hold the car for a few days until I could come over. Then to make matters worse, they tried to gaslight me by saying I asked for the service and apparantly they recorded the call so could prove it (which I wasn't aware of and didn't consent to either), yet for some strange reason, they couldn't access the recordings when I questioned them on it.
I was told to email the owner and take it up with him, which obviously was just to get me to leave. Eventually I had to leave and did email the owner several times, but obviously got no reply.
Tl:dr
Don't pay a refundable deposit for a car here, they don't actually refund it and will lie to your face to scam you.
