After I started looking for buying a house in Germany (almost 2 years back), I quickly realised how complex the whole process is. Especially for someone with limited German language skills and not familiar with the bureaucratic procedures. At that point, I came across Hypofriend from my internet search and decided to give a try. I was immediately connected to the experienced Mortgage consultant and was offered free consultancy including telephone and video calls, where I could easily clarify all my doubts. But Hypofriend's support goes far beyond the mortgage topic and in my case, I was able to understand the whole set of processes involved in a house purchase in Germany through those several calls, where the consultants were patiently answering all my queries and helped me gain the clear understanding of the things to do. Later as I shortlisted on some houses, the next challenge was to get a bank loan at a reasonable interest rate (given my visa status, options with the banks were also limited). Here again Hypofriend helped me to get access to some of the best possible rates from reputed banks. Navigating the german property process is difficult as an expat who isn't very familiar with it.
Denise and Jens Jendrzejewski dealt with our application and I was so happy with the service we received from them. They went above and beyond to assist us at every step of the process, answering any questions we had and also many questions outside of their remit.
