Good for child and spending abroad
I use HyperJar for my son and have been for around 6 months. So far it all seems to be going well. It is easy to transfer money to him, and I can see what and where he is spending.
The app is pretty straightforward. And I love that you can use the card abroad with no fees.

HyperJar is a really great app and has been invaluable in helping my children have some financial responsibility and freedom. I also use my jar for spending abroad as there are no transaction fees.
I had an issue with needing a replacement for a lost card but Lata was fantastic. They worked out very quickly that I couldn’t freeze the card because it had expired anyway and they have sorted out the issue for me. Fantastic work Lata

Cheeky charges on transfers are hard to keep up with and the cost of replacement cards is a lot for teens...

HyperJar doesn't charge for every transfer or transaction, although fees can apply once certain free limits are exceeded, which can be easily avoided. We appreciate that keeping track of these limits isn't always straightforward, and we’re always looking at ways to make fees and allowances clearer.
We also understand your point regarding replacement card costs. The £4.99 replacement fee helps cover the production, shipping and handling costs, while the first adult card and replacement of an expired card remain free.

Second time now they have paused my…
Second time now they have paused my account,can’t even go get nappies bread or milk for my kids they say it’ll be sorted within 24 hours but that’s the maximum they say,all over 3 payments iv received from family members my benefits gone in today they are holding that also iv sent about 20 messages and not 1 reply I will update this when they’ve done it and how long it took them
