Ordered new trainers and shorts for upcoming sports holiday. Paid the extra for next-day delivery to make sure they arrived in time, placing order before advertised cut-off.



No dispatch.



Another day has passed and still no dispatch, and no explanation.



Funds debited from bank account.



Emails now go completely unanswered.



A shame. Back a few years, when the company started, I was one of the first to purchase what was then to become the Sand Hylo Light, and loved them. Had no issues back then.

Absolutely no idea what is happening now, and no communication.



All in all, a pretty miserable experience.


Your ethics as a company extends beyond the 'sustainability' of your products, to how you treat people! Attitude all seems rather 'Oh, mañana'.

Buyer beware.

Disapointed by Hylo Special Running shoes bought early 2023, after a year half of not even running with it and only going to the gym the laces and the shoes start to get holes here and there and tears ..

Of course the look is great but I wouldn't imagine at that price If I was an ultra runner, would buy it every 2 months ...

Super comfortable trainer with ethical materiality.

What a company. What a shoe!

If more companies had the determination to do better in the world of sports equipment the world would be a better place.

The shoes themselves are quality! I bought a pair of Hylo IMPACTS as my daily runner and they are treating me very well. 41km down and still got the bounce and responsiveness they did at the beginning. A pleasure to run in - rain or shine.

Bonus - they look unreal too!

It’s not only refreshing but vitally important that hylo athletics are producing such high quality performance products that are sustainable and environmentally friendly (and also look really good)

They’ve grown leaps and bounds from their first shoe, it’s actually hard to compare them. Clearly far superior technology has been incorporated into the impact shoe.

I am adding an edit to commend the fantastic service from the Hylo customer support. I have loved this brand of trainers since buying my first pair two years ago. However, when I bought my third pair in the sale last year I put them away until needed. When I wore them for the first time I found that the design has been changed to include a cushion round the heel which felt spiky against the foot It was impossible to wear for more than a few minutes.
By the time I wore them it was way too late to return them even though they were unused.
I contacted customer service in the hope that they could suggest something I could do to make them more comfortable and they have been ultra helpful and given me an equivalent voucher towards their new trainer design.

The ideal shoe built from an amazing mission.

Cushioned, responsive and lightweight, I have found them perfect for all my runs. The sustainability mission behind the brand drew me in and their customer service has been nothing but great!

I'm only giving the second star as the returns process was very quick and easy.

The shoes are poor quality. Both my original order, and the exchanged pair, had a fault on the heel meaning the inside of the shoe looked and felt like velcro. I only managed a few steps before they started chaffing at my heels, so there's no way I'd want to run in them. I've seen another review stating the same problem, and as both pairs I ordered had the same problem clearly there is a quality control issue.

I'm disappointed as I really wanted to buy running shoes that would be kinder on the planet.

Customer service and product is second to none. Had a slight issue with the original pair I bought but the team actioned with a new pair promptly and great communication throughout. Would highly recommend! Thanks again Hylo. Loving the new kicks

I tried three pairs over two weeks. One I had to return because it was much too loose around the heel and wouldn’t have stayed on. The other two pairs had a slightly different design, with a padded heel grip at the back, which was better. They fitted well and I really liked the look, but after wearing them for about a mile of walking I noticed really spiky threads (a plastic-like material) sticking out all over the heel grip and scratching me. I contacted Hylo and the customer service was fantastic; they replied really quickly and immediately arranged to send a replacement pair. Unfortunately, when the new pair arrived I saw they had exactly the same problem.

I think the customer service, shipping, returns process, and the company’s ethos are all great, but the product quality isn’t as good as it needs to be. Several other reviews have said the same thing, so I really hope Hylo can fix these issues.

Hylo trainers are a great looking and comfortable shoe. As a business, Hylo Athletics' quality of customer service and interactions are well above their peers. Highly recommend these folks, their shoes, and I am looking forward to my next pair.

Couldn't commend Hylo highly enough. Great to see a company putting sustainability at the heart of what they do. Customer service experience probably the best I've come across.

I genuinely couldn’t recommend this company more. Their shoes are super comfy and really cute. Only once have I had an issue with their shoes and when I reached out to them I was connected to their super helpful customer care team. One person - Ross, dealt with me throughout the entire process and was actually proactive in remedying the situation. I was in great hands throughout the entire thing. So basically, great shoes and even better customer care.

Really lovely people, great customer service but the shoes are just not up to scratch. I sent the running ones back but the casual one's I kept are baggy around the ankles after just a few wears and they offer almost no support. Fab ethos, good bunch of people but they will never compete with large brands on quality sadly.
