I needed to attend an appeal against a decision made by a local NHS continuing care panel. Jasmine Dempsey of Hugh James, my case worker, called me the day before to outline what to expect and how she would present the case. On the day, Jasmine presented a clear case to the panel as to why the previous decision should be overturned. Questions from the panel were handled with succinct and accurate answers, demonstrating Jasmine was on top of her brief. Overall I was very impressed with the level of preparation and professionalism demonstrated at the hearing.

Whilst already receiving a war pension, a situation happened which required additional changes to be made. As this was something I wouldn't have been able to manage alone, I instructed Hugh James to act on my behalf.

Caitlin was able to gain myself an increase in my war pension and a significant back payment.

Everyone I had dealings with were supportive, extremely professional and showed a great deal of empathy and understanding. The whole process was made easy and seamless by the team.
