Thank you HST- ordered on the 24th August a dual screen refurbished PC bundle and currently using the system now. First class customer service (from order to delivery) provided by Jo Hague. Have passed on this company to one friend already and will myself be a repeat customer.

I ordered a laptop computer, the laptop would not hold a charge away from the mains for longer than 40 minutes with a fully charged battery - no mention of this was made by the company. After contacting the company i have received no response, terrible customer service!
I have had to buy a new battery this cost me £40.

Bought two laptops after some changes because of availability. One screen became damaged and had to be replaced. Picked up Monday received back Wednesday morning. Many thanks Andy, Brilliant.

Please avoid using this company at all costs. They take money for it orders and don’t fulfil orders. No email responses and also a call centre fields their incoming calls and never respond. I actually spoke with the manager of the call centre and they say they receive hundreds of calls for them.A sham company unfortunately.

Had a couple hiccups with delivery but the company has resolved the issue and as a good will gesture upgraded my laptop and also had a follow up email from the owner apologising for the problems Which sounded sincere

Worst customer experience I have had in years, order placed and over three weeks later no delivery, even gave them some extra time in current circumstances. long time in getting response from online message/email

Highly recommend this company. I bought a PC and laptop for home use and couldn’t be happier!
The customer service was second to none and they helped with all my queries regarding the specs I needed to us the PC for and with setting up peripheral equipment.
Arrived when expected and really nice quality. I will definitely be shopping with them again for any future tech needs. Thanks so much for great service

After many fruitless emails a poor trust pilot review stirred them into action and after an apologetic phonecall my laptop was delivered the following day. Seems there was lots of human error due to covid, remote working etc...computer is good.

I bought a PC from HST and have been trying to contact them with no answer. Initially I was not pleased but was surprised when Andrew in HST contact me . I was pleased to say that initially i gave the company a star , but changed my mind after the quick response and after sales support given in resolving the issue at hand and the PC arrived as promised by Andrew, bearing in mind of the working conditions the company have to manage due to covid -19 .

As of today, I am still waiting their respond for compensation for the damaged PC casing. I am not pleased with their approach that HST just kept silent , Well watch you buy from them

I was really patient, but they dropped the ball, hard.
Ordered a mid-high end PC, and when hearing nothing after 2 weeks(estimate was 10 days), called to ask. Told they were adjusting to the pandemic. Fair enough, I cut them some slack.
Big mistake, since it then took one and a half months/four calls before they finally sent the PC.

The PC arrived with a fried graphics card.

Sent it back to them. They promised to fix it. Another month passed before they confirmed it was "repaired" but once again the GPU arrived fried, as if overheated. Even getting a refund was a hassle. Should I mark it 2 stars because I EVENTUALLY managed to claw a refund out of them?
No, that doesn't seem fair. Even 1 star is generous.
Please don't order with these people. The customer service lady Jo tried her best to placate me, but could not make up for the absolute failure of the building team. Sorry Jo. You tried.

HighSpec Tech have been excellent throughout the process of both buying the laptop, delivering it to my home and subsequently when there were a couple of minor problems sorting those out. Initially I could not make a couple of things work on the laptop and through communicating with Jo Hague in their customer support team she was able to guide me through resolving the problems. However, no matter how much she tried, one small issue remained, and she enabled me to return the laptop for that to be sorted. The laptop was collected on a Tuesday and returned the following is Saturday, so I was only without it for three days which was brilliant.
I would recommend this company to anybody wishing to purchase computer equipment as they have done a brilliant job for me.

I ordered a laptop 4 days ago with 2-3 day delivery time, I waited 2 days and asked about a way of tracking my order, within in hour or less I received an email from hst stating that I'm in a queue of build, which is something that I wasn't expecting, anyways I was told that it was 2 days in and I should expect it in 8 days as the build time is estimated between 7/10 days, I'm so excited and can't wait to start my career using this laptop

They seem to be a genuine firm ,and Willing to oblige there customers with positive outcome

My system was delayed but after talking to them about it, they sent me a better system instead and were very courteous and eager to help.
I will definitely be using their services again in the future.

The sage continues. Tempted to reduce the rating. See below -- I was offered an alternative to my original order which I reluctantly accepted. I checked that the alternative was same or better spec and that laptop had an DVD drive before I accepted. Laptop arrived and seemed OK. I should have checked more closely -- about to install software today and no DVD drive, just an empty bay. HST have no suitable drive to fit bay so have offered me an external which I'm accepting because, having already lost 3 weeks of work without a laptop, I need to get on but not happy.

I am updating my review because having posted 1 star rating and written my initial review (below) I was contacted very quickly (within an hour) and offered an alternative laptop to my original order. The alternative was slightly higher grade but of similar age and with smaller screen so I negotiated a very small discount and an assured delivery date. I received the alternative laptop yesterday (the assured date) and the refund. The laptop is in reasonable condition (its a refurb. so couple of marks on screen etc and arrived in box not powered off). Seems to be working OK so I feel the issue is resolved and I am updating my review as promised.

However, despite all this, I still feel its a great pity I had to work so hard to get fair treatment and that's why I can only give HST 3 stars. I'd still recommend that HST is upfront about the difficulties they are having during the pandemic and possible delays, alternatives to orders etc - that way, potential customers have accurate information and can make a proper judgement about ordering. As it is, I've wasted time and energy contacting and negotiating with HST and I'm way behind with *my* work because the laptop arrived late.

Have to mention Jo in Sales who has always done her very best to help whilst being polite, friendly and prompt.

Getting seriously fed up now. Almost one month since ordering. Sent emails, left messages via website. One reply two weeks ago to say delays due to pandemic etc. which is understandable BUT now no replies, no way to leave message on phone line. If HST knew there was possibility of delay they should have mentioned on website so customers could make an informed a choice about whether to order or not. Wish I'd never bothered with HST now and ordered from more reputable companies with good communication

Since posting my original review the customer service team have contacted me on several occasions to try to resolve the problem with my order. Whilst the laptop requested could not be supplied due to issues with the available stock I was offered an upgraded laptop which although much bigger than I wanted met all other requirements. This was delivered very quicky ando as a result of this I have amended my review. Whilst happy with the service after I posted my review it was a shame that my original emails were not dealt with in the same manner

Changed my review as agreed with hst finally received my laptop have not tested it yet but did finally get it after many times of chasing etc. Laptop looks in good condition and well packed, I would advise to take customer feed back and state your delays on the website or via email and not let your customers chase you. Although Covid has affected many business I feel you are taking advantage of that situation and using it to cover your faults within your dispatch/build team.
