So i purchased a PC from HST back in December 2018. I remember having problems with delivery but it came in early January. I loved it and it was very good (for me). Until about a year later I realised I didn’t have an SSD installed. (I had payed for the SSD) So i sent the rig back to HST up in manny and they fitted me an SSD free of charge. Got it back and all was blessed. Had it for a few months and then PC broke suddenly in December 2019 . Didn’t know what the problem was so I sent it up to HST again and they fixed it. Had lots of problems here though as it had broken at a bad time, waited a very long time for the return of my PC but I got it back and all was blessed again. You might be asking, Where is he going with this review? Well In August my PC suddenly crashed and had to restart it to get it working , and it happened again, and again up until last week when it finally broke.... The PC has got me through quarantine and late night gaming sessions with the lads but sadly it’s time has passed. I am not going to be sending it back for a repair and will be purchasing a new one from another seller. In fact it is arriving on Thursday and i can’t wait. So to conclude this review , HST was pretty good to me , although it sounds like it has been a bad experience with the SSD not installed and it breaking twice but sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture. This PC has given me hours of enjoyment and I am greatfull for this. I have always seen HST as that small company that I respect and it will stay that way. I hope this review is read and helps somebody that is deciding on buying from here. I do feel bad for HST seeing all of these negative christmas reviews, and that crazy women saying the reviews are fraudulent hahah. A happy new year to HST and you reading this!

I am so annoyed with this company!

Ordered a gaming PC on the 4th December in time for my sons birthday on the 23rd December, the PC didn't turn up on on the 23rd, so I prayed it would be here Christmas day instead, today on Christmas Eve I am still chasing the location of my product! I have emailed HST with absolutely no help at all. My son has gone without for his birthday after being so excited! I am so upset that I've had to let him down. I have worked all through the pandemic as a community nurse, so there absolutely no reason for an excuse!

I will not be using this company again,do not be fooled by good reviews they are all false and probably paid reviews.

Under the Consumer Goods Act 2015, they have a duty to deliver items within a reasonable time(30 days) if you do not receive goods they are in breach of this Act. AVOID BUYING!!

HST provide a fast and friendly service that is second to none. They keep their customers well informed. DPD lost the PC I had ordered and HST had a replacement sent out in time for Christmas. They even gave technical support while I was setting the PC up as I have not done that before. My son can’t wait to use his PC and I shall be highly recommending HST to absolutely everyone!

Ordered on the 27th November, order stated 2 day delivery. Still has not arrived. Generic response sent to 2 emails. Requested a refund and no response at all. Now had to buy an alternative present for my son from a reputable company and extremely out of pocket as this company still has my money. Avoid at all costs.

I have checked my bank back to the 17th December and I have definitely not received a refund. Please look into this again as that is not correct.

Jo and the team have been amazing from the start of buying the Pc to the end of us receiving it. Initially we had a few issues with DPD and Jo sorted it, we received the PC and we were unsure how to set it up, Jo give us support to help us set it up and now we all sorted for Xmas day. Amazing customer service.

Good, well-built product, but long delays with no updates despite multiple requests.
It is very difficult to get through to them. E-mails are left unanswered, and the customer service number leads to a generic call centre that does not have up-to-date information on orders and only passes along callback requests to HST, which then don't get answered.
Placed an order for a PC on 29 November. No shipment notification after the promised 7–10 working days. It took one week to chase this up, with me calling every day and leaving callback requests with increasing urgency that were not answered. E-mails were left unanswered as well.
After a week, HST finally reacted and promised to ship the PC within one working day. This deadline was also missed and it took another e-mail (this time I did get a callback) to get PC shipped, just in time for Christmas. Altogether shipment went out a good 8 working days later than originally promised. I understand delays in the current circumstances, but communication must happen.
So use at your own risk and leave plenty of time!

The item I ordered was not available so HST sent a replacement which was a better specification. The laptop is working well so very please with my purchase.

After reading some of the reviews on here i was a bit hesitant to place an order, but after speaking with Jane she put me at ease, I ordered a Hp EliteDesk 800 G2 with upgraded parts as suggest by Jane for what i needed, to pc was immaculate and the packaging was brilliant, all my editing programs run like a dream, thank you to everyone at HST, will definitely be returning and recommending you to others.

Well, I needed a dedicated PC for the new WFH. So found this local company. My machine was delivered last week, but when I got round to turning on it wouldn't boot. So contacted HST, Rachel, on the Monday, and the machine was picked up that day. Was returned fully working today 7.30am, so I was really impressed by this excellent customer service. I know exactly where to go now for my next machine. Thanks HST 😊

I bought a desktop computer from HST and it's an excellent product. I chose to upgrade to 16GB ram with a 22" monitor, and the computer works flawlessly. The screen is 2nd hand but looks brand new and the computer HST built for me is very advanced. it has no problem running 9-10 professional scanner applications and I wish I had purchased it earlier instead of using a laptop. The customer support was exceptional as well, and Jane helped me out with something and responded straight away to address it. I had no issues dealing with this company at all.

I have been looking for a company to provide me with 3 duel screen pc's and come across HST and i can honestly say i will be returning i placed my order and had to wait a while this was due to covid 19 not a problem with HST i had one screen that was faulty however i contacted them and by 7pm the same day i had a new screen delivered i would recomend them to anyone thank you HST and there Customer Service Team

I have been trying to find a thermal pad for my dell pc. afteer 2 days I came accross HST and found the most helpfull person I have spoken to in the last few days thank you

True customer service is often revealed when there is an issue and my experience with HighSpec Tech has been excellent. A problem arose with a recently purchased Notebook and the response to my contact, collection of the Notebook, repair and return were exemplary. Hugely impressed!

First Class Service.
I purchased a refurbished Desktop PC
which developed a fault, raised the issue with Jane at HST, a replacement was delivered to my house next day.
When I was happy with the replacement I contacted Jane at HST and she arranged for collection of the faulty PC, So five stars to HST customer services (Jane).
I would highly recommend HST.

I needed a cheap twin screen PC for studies at home. Due to budget the only option available was refurbished! HST delivered above requirements under budget.
Unfortunately within a month the PC crashed and kept on crashing. Four IT guys at work could not find the problem and technically according to their diagnostics there was nothing wrong with the PC?
Buying a refurbished PC comes with an element of risk, you are getting a PC for a third of the price but you do not know its past life. Computers are problematic at the best of times, sometimes the dice may not be in your favour.
However HST never stopped and Jane on the help desk was amazing. Though process of elimination and two trips back to HST my PC is now fixed and running perfectly. I could have complained but about what? HST were fixing the problem and never stopped until it was resolved. Yes it was a pain in the backside but I was not paying thousands for a brand-new PC, I took a step back gave my head a wobble and took two lumps of reality with my cup of tea.
I had to be realistic in my expectations v budget. I compared it to those people who complain about the cost of a 1st class stamp. Well I say, I hope you enjoy you 76p bus ride and see how far you get!
I understand that when things go wrong it can be upsetting and inconvenient but it how the company respond to the situation and fix the problem that should make the company stand out. In my experience HST have done this flawlessly. Thank you

I can sympathise with all the poor reviews here. Ordered a refurbished desktop 4 weeks ago and have been told twice that 'they're behind on build'. Very poor customer support. Emails are ignored. I'm going to try and ring today but I would sincerely advise anyone considering using this company to look else where. It's really not worth it to save a few pounds especially when there are other companies around that provide a similar service and may actually deliver the good that you order.
UPDATE
Desktop arrived and subsequently broke after 2 weeks. Customer services were good and arranged for the item to be returned that day, we had it back in a week so pretty good. However, the item is now broken again. Complete waste of money. Will be requesting a refund today
