Definitely a scam company. Doesn't give the certificates after completion, doesn't respond to emails, and doesn't pick up their phone.

I would not recommend HSQE Consultancy based on my experience.

I completed their Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment course and then took the examination. Unfortunately, I did not pass. My main concern is that the course did not adequately prepare me for the actual examination. A number of questions concerned practical activities, procedures and situations that were not properly covered in the learning materials I was provided with.

After completing the entire course and taking the exam, I expected to be able to book a resit. Instead, I was directed towards purchasing/repeating learning rather than simply being given a straightforward opportunity to retake the assessment.

What made the situation even more frustrating was the lack of customer support. It has been extremely difficult to contact HSQE Consultancy. Emails have not been answered, and when I called the company, the person answering the accounts department seemed annoyed that I was calling and told me that someone from the department responsible for dealing with accounts would contact me regarding my issue. Nobody contacted me afterwards.

I have also tried contacting them by email regarding my concerns and requested a resolution/refund, but I have still not received an adequate response.

I am leaving this review so that potential customers can be aware of my experience before spending their money. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend carefully checking independent reviews and confirming exactly what is included in the course, how the examination is conducted, and what happens

No reply to any of my correspondence on all different numbers and email addresses. Still awaiting my certificate which I have paid for. I think this company is a scam and I will be taking further steps to report them for fraud unless my certificate is with me by the end of today.
Very frustrating and not worth anyone’s time. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The product does not clearly state that headphones are not allowed during the exam at the end of the module. I had them on because I was sure that some of the questions would be read aloud. In fact, this caused me to fail the test, as headphones are not permitted during the exam.

I sent two emails asking to take the test again, but I received no response after a few days. I then purchased the module again, thinking that this would give me another opportunity to take the exam. I went through the module again in about 15 minutes, as it contained exactly the same questions as the first attempt, but the exam was still locked.

I then called their office and explained the situation. The person I spoke to said that they could not refund the second module because I had opened it (although, of course, I had to open it to find out that the exam was still locked), even though I still had access to the same module that I had originally purchased.

He then said that he would send me a link to their exam website so that I would not mix them up again, but he never sent it. He also said that my module would be reset within three days of the date of my exam. This never happened either. I was hoping to get the result quickly because I need to obtain my CSCS card. However, another week is about to pass, and I still do not know how I am supposed to retake the exam. This is becoming increasingly frustrating, as I have already paid for the module twice and have still not been given a clear way to retake the test.

Undertook my SMSTS refresher with HSQE Consultancy and simply put - they were excellent !
From start to finish, the course was delivered in a way that was easy to understand, follow and more importantly, kept me interested.
My particular course was actually delivered by the managing director, Matthew Oldham, and you’d maybe initially think that a course being delivered by its director may lack enthusiasm or interest, but it was the opposite.
He was friendly, funny, extremely welcoming of comments and feedback and extremely knowledgeable.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will certainly use them in the future for their vast knowledge and experience across several safety courses/topics.

Great 2 day refresher course. Matt is a very helpful and knowledgeable instructor with plenty of help and advice along the way highly recommend this course.

Caeleb arrived on time and was extremely polite. The Face-Fit tests were carried out, but then he left, and didn't ask to speak with a member of the office staff, and called me from his car, to explain what had happened regarding the tests. I then had to call him back as my Manager had asked him to speak to him before he left about the full head masks.
We had 6 operatives and the tests were done and dusted within 40mins, which seemed to us to be quite quick?!

Highly recommend HSQE Consultancy. We have our warehouse ladders inspected through them and they always provide a professional service.

I highly recommend this company for competency training. I recently did the SMSTS online course and found it very helpful and engaging. Both my tutors John and Mathew were extremely knowledgeable and made the 5 day course very enjoyable.

Matthew was the instructor on my SMSTS course. He made the course very enjoyable and engaging throughout. Learnt a lot from his knowledge and hope to do more courses in the future. Would recommend Hsqeconsultancy highly to anyone looking to do this course. Ps or any course excellent training.
