HSL Chairs - Henley on Thames Anmeldelser

The salesperson was so knowledgeable and helpful. There was no heavy sales talk and we were encouraged to spend as much time as we liked sitting in potential chairs before deciding whether to buy one- which we did.

We went to HSL in Henley and were met by Kathryn who offered a free drink and as it was during a heatwave we were so thankful for a cold drink. We have had Stressless chairs for the last 20 years but my husband decided he wanted a chair with wings for when he falls asleep. We told Kathryn what we wanted and she went through all the options for the chair. Very pleased to be able to park at the rear of the shop. We would highly recommend the shop and helpful staff.

Kind helpful staff

The showroom staff, once again, were helpful and knowledgeable, with clear guidance on delivery timescales and process. Today, our delivery team was Jason and Ben, who kept us informed of their arrival time and were courteous and careful in delivering the sofa exactly where we wanted it! Thank you all

Amazing experience with Kathryn, very helpful

Well done HSL Henley On Thames, especially Catherine who went above and beyond.
My chair is perfect and I'm recovering well in it after my operation.
Thank you.

The guys were very knowledgeable, polite and engaging. My Dad was impressed with the whole experience, plus the tea and biscuits, whilst he was considering, was greatly appreciated. Definitely 5 out 5

Great service from very friendly and helpful staff at a well laid out shop with plenty of furniture on display to try out. Special thanks to Anthony for all his help and advice, he really knows his job and is a credit to the company.

This was the second time we had visited HSL at Henley-0n-Thames store and were met both times with courtesy and helpfulness. I would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking good honest professional assistance in purchasing lounge furniture.

Fantastic service. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I kind of knew what I wanted but was helped to choose exactly what was perfect for me. There was no sales pitch or pushing to get something I was not happy with. Tony was great and very patient with me.

Good sales representative made everything clear.

The store is beautifully set out. Greeted at the door by Kevin and was shown around. Kevin explained to my 92 year old Dad about the chair and how it worked. My dad ended up buying a three piece suite (we only went to look). Excellent service, thank you.

Such a lovely experience, okay we were there to buy but nothing was too much trouble. The addition of a baby did not ruffle anyone's feathers. The knowledge of the assistant was excellent. After considerable discussion a decision was made. We could not have been looked after any better.

Kevin at the Henley showroom was great.Polite, friendly & very knowledgeable of the chairs we were trying & offered advice when called for.We were pleased to purchase 2 dual motor recliner chairs in the Aysgarth range.petite & grande....so comfy.
Thanks for all your help Kevin& the coffee & biscuits You made it a pleasant experience.
Always a worry spending so much money but HSL is so worth the expence, quality always wins

We visited the Henley-on-Thames store about ten days ago to choose two new recliner chairs to replace an ageing settee. Kevin was very helpful, showing us the chairs we were interested in and offering a lot of information. We made some initial decisions and requested leather samples which were sent promptly by post.
We returned to the store having made up our minds over the colour and the style of the bases and Kevin placed the order quickly. Looking forward to our new chairs.

Received phone call confirming delivery time. Martin and Leon set up the chair quickly and effectively. Very pleased with the fireside chair.

Absolutely amazing company. Needed a reclining chair very rapidly. Visited the store in Henley where everybody was extremely kind and there was a wide range of chairs. The decision was made very quickly with the help of Kevin.

The chair was delivered within three working days by Martin and Leon. It was assembled easily and all the instructions given. An extra touch was the addition of cleaning products for the chair.

I slept in the chair overnight and it was the best sleep I've had in three months. Thank you, everybody at HSL. What a professional group of people.

I took my 94 year old mum for a chair fitting. The lovely Anthony met us at the door and guided us through the process. So kind and patient. Thanks.

My wife and I visited the Henley-on-Thames store on 21st July 2025. We had already done our homework with other stores also selling recliner chairs. From first entering HSL Henley, the aura was professional with Quality goods in settings very well displayed. Having worked in the trade on sales, gave me the edge over an average customer. I disclosed this to Katherine who welcomed the challenge. I sat back and let Katharine do her Pitch. Katharine went into detail gathering information on our needs, specially to my wife who required particular consideration regarding her health and comfort needs plus measurements, but within our budget. Taking all this on board we decided on a Ripley Powered Recliner and a Ripley Manual Recliner both covered in Pisa-Zinc fabric with Natural Oak Knuckles. The deal finally struck I am pleased to say was within budget-just. We took delivery today Thursday 28 August. the two chaps phoned in advance, were on time, again totally professional, installed, and explained the working details of the chairs and removed all packaging. All together a great shopping experience, we will certainly visit the store again, and would recommend HSL to anyone. Thank you all.

Kathryn was very helpful to me today. She was able to get me into the best size chair for me and gave good advice on colours. Thank you
