The shop itself is amazing for potterhead like myself. The service and help I got from Kamila is amazing. She knew what she was doing and I loved her vibes.

An experience to remember in the best Harry Potter shop in London!

The exemplary customer service is the cherry on top of the best Harry Potter shop in London.

I purchased online a marauders map for my sisters birthday. On receipt of the item it contained an invoice for someone called Gary (not me) at a price much lower than what I had paid for the item.

Upon opening the item it was clear that the frame was not new. The box looked tired & the frame itself was dusty and the varnish damaged on the front of the frame. The box had a price sticker attached, indicating that the item had been sat on a shop shelf at some point.

After weeks of trying to get a response from house of spells with numerous emails & social media contact being ignored I was contacted & instructed to return the item for a replacement of a refund of HALF THE PRICE OF THE ITEM! No instructions were given on how to return or how this cost would be covered. I opted for the replacement item. After more emails being ignored, my sister decided to post the item back by Royal Mail at a cost to herself.

I then managed to get a response from the social media “team” on their “day off.” They informed me that none of my emails had been received. Then proceeded to tell me my emails had been marked as junk & that they do not open junk mail.

The social media “team” insisted that all items shipped are brand new from the factory & are not quality checked before being dispatched therefore the quality of a replacement item “could not be guaranteed.” When I explained it was clear that the item previously received was not factory new the social media “team” stated that this was “bizarre” as they do not include invoices with goods, not do they apply price stickers. This just reinforced the product not being factory new but having been purchased from a third party, possibly as a return & having been sold on at a much inflated price.

Eventually I managed to get an agreement for the postage spent to be returned to me. House of spells insist on sending this reimbursement by PayPal (they “cannot” use any other method) however they neglect to cover the PayPal processing fees for the transaction leaving me out of pocket once again at their convenience.

After having been offered a replacement frame on many occasions their most recent email to me stated that the item was out of stock and that I would be receiving a refund.

Prices at this shop was a lot more than Hamleys and Amazon. Was totally shocked. Some of the items do not have a price tag which is not helpful.

Love the place, love the staff, love Harry Potter!

After discovering website last year, decided to visit shop whilst in London, and let me telly you that I was not disappointed. Very knowledgeable staff members about Harry Potter. Recommend to visit for all harry potter fans in London.

Came to shop due to social media posts I cam across whilst visiting London. As last day in London before going back to States, and being harry potter fun, I could not have asked for anything better.

The biggest Harry Potter shop in London besides warner bros tours. Amazing a must visit in London.

I have ordered twice now from here and I love it, I am a big Harry potter / lord of the rings fan and this store is fantastic. I have been in store and ordered offline and both experiences were great from the people to the items available to buy, I definitely recommend this store to everyone.
