Excellent charcoal.
As ever very content with the quality of products when used. However, on this occasion the packaging of Whittlebricks was very poor. The charcoal and the bricks were loosely packed in a large box. This resulted in the bricks breaking up; so much so that charcoal was leaking out of brick box and the delivery box.

That’s not how we expect our orders to be packed or received. We’ve recently made improvements to our packaging, including adding protective filler, and it sounds like this wasn’t included with your order. This has been raised with the warehouse team to make sure it’s addressed.
The bricks will still be perfectly usable, even when broken, but I completely understand this isn’t the experience you should have had.

This is the second time I have used this site. I will be returning as the product is extremely good quality. I would say the beef short ribs and baby back ribs came out with a beautiful flavour,

You can't beat an excellent experience and we have worked hard to make the journey to great fuel for your fire as easy as possible - with the most important element of exceptional charcoal being paramount.
Our charcoal really cannot be beated on a Kamado and it is such a game changer given the light smoke flavours the charcoal produces, allowing the true flavours of your food to shine through.
Not to mention how efficient it is - I hope you have been able to reuse the charcoal time and time again - just shut off the vents after use and the fire will go out and the coals will be ready to use multiple times (sorry if that's a granny sucking eggs comment!).

If you buy the best meat you can afford then you should do the same with your charcoal and this is the best I have had so far. Great burn time and unctuous Smokey flavours.
