Disney hotstar is very scamming website, they are automatically dedect amount from my bank account without any intimation. I am using this app for 2-3 times in a month,but my amount always dedect automatically from my bank account,if I removed automatic dedection by my app they are charged the same ,very sameless app.

Marketing gimmickry by Disney Hotstar to sell their premium subscription. They are broadcasting condom ads (not just once but almost everytime during ad breaks). I was fed up of this ( just imagine my situation wherein I am sitting with my children watching Anupama and repeatedly I get to see condom ads). This is nothing but cheap marketting. I was forced to purchase their premium plan...not exactly to get rid of ads but condom ads . No other ott does that. Just for a few bucks, they are hurting their own reputation.

For the price we are paying (which is 5 times higher than in India), we must get all the content and why to limit the video quality? Very limited 4K videos and even full HD looks worse than SD quality. Certainly not worth since there are other options available.

Hotstar is a fraud money taking app.
I wanted to watch t20 World Cup on Smart tv. When I subscribed for 149/ 3 months it clearly stated it would be both on mobile and TV.
Now after 7 days the subscription only works on mobile only.
Now they say that on tv it was complimentary for 7 days. However, it did not mention at time of subscription. If it was only on mobile y would I subscribe in first place. I would have opted for Super pack. Now it asks me to upgrade.
When I asked for callback, there is no callback from them. They called only once and says to upgrade. But not ready to refund. Hotstar services have become pathetic in terms of customer service as well.

HOTSTAR canada app on mobile or TV it doesn't work when connecting to home wifi in canada.. It says we are connecting via vpn.. when reached out to our ISP they said it looks fine on their end. When reachout to hotstar canada they said use mobile data instead of fixing the issue on thier end.. Seriously, should I use mobile data instead of home wifi for a TV?

Extremely poor customer service. I Paid the hotstar for early program. Starting they played the program earlier. Now they are giving almost same time of streaming. So why we need this application.

Not worth. Platform is not good. No good selection of movies. I would suggest Netflix is far better choice. Its a very basic streaming. There is no option to cancel. Customer service is also very bad.

Such a terrible company and app, app doesn't work in my phone. Emailed 10 times and no proper response, they don't have a customer service phone number. Pinged on social media too, no luck.

GARBAGE, they take your money VERY QUICKLY, then, when it does not work, on my phone, or tab, or laptop, or TV, THEY WILL NOT REFUND, even 30 minutes after purchase!

Hotstar is money-hungry people. They will charge you money and still will show you lots of ads in a single episode. they will even break one web series and tiny pieces.

Third rate company

The best OTT platform. Very good movies,excellent webseries, wide range of TV channels,wide range of Kids program including cartoon,sports. It is all in one entertainment. Much affordable in comparison to Amazon Prime,Netflix,Jio Cinema. Much better contents in comparison to Zee5, Sony Liv ott.
