Excellent work and highly recommend. Repaired a clock I bought with an unusual problem stopping at the same point every 12 hours.
Horologica knew exactly what was needed and fixed it very quickly and reasonably priced. The new movement was a little noisy for my liking, without hesitation this was replaced with the old movement that was repaired for me. Goes above and beyond for a happy customer. Thank you.

Horological converted my old wall clock to run on a quartz movement as the clockwork motor was worn out,his emails explained what the pros and cons were of converting, and what the work involved, I am very pleased with the results ,the cost was reasonable and I would have no hesitation in using him again

I am so impressed. Where we are there are not many people capable and those there are have bad reputations so I only contacted Horologica as a last resort with very little expectation but am left with nothing but admiration.

Gordon replaced the mechanism and carried out minor replacements to two quartz movement clocks. Each took less than 24 hours to complete. He does this work as a hobby rather than a business, and his not for profit charges are very reasonable. I'd have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone requiring work on any sort of clock.

I sent my torsion pendulum (anniversary) clock to Gordon to see if he could get it running again. He gave me a detailed appraisal of the clock and kept me updated as to how he was getting on with it, and told me at each stage what my options were and how much he would charge. His prices were very reasonable and the clock is now back in place and working, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services.

I recently took possession of a carriage clock and didn’t think it worked. I called Horologica thinking it might need to be repaired and spoke to a lovely man who was very knowledgeable and talked me through how to get it going and also told me a bit about the clock. It’s now working and sounds lovely. Thank you so much for the time you gave me and didn’t charge a penny. I will definitely call again if it does need servicing.

My antique barometer had stopped working and I delivered this to Gordon who virtually had to rebuild it as it had been built incorrectly on the last repair. It’s now working fine and looks all sparkly as he has given it a makeover.

My antique mantlepiece clock unfortunately fell off the mantlepiece. Gordon at Horologica took on the job of getting it back up and running properly with a great deal of attention and detail. It is returned and running far better than it has done in years and all at very reasonable cost.

Gordon loves his craft and understands that however much you care about your clock, your budget is finite.
