The prompt reply and advice I got was fantastic. It was written in a way that was easily understood, and Gordan who gave the advice came over as very helpful and friendly.

Can't recommend Gordon highly enough. I struggled to find someone that would fix my family's cuckoo clock as it only had sentimental value but now it has pride of place. Kept us fully informed on progress, stuck to budget although I know more work was done. Thank you - just awesome service.

Really impressed with the service. I needed a replacement glass for a yacht barometer, which was shattered somewhere between Greece and the UK.
Not only did it have a bevelled sloped edge but needed a hole for mounting the pointer.
Turnaround was less than a week and the replacement is superb and at exactly half the price of another firm I approached.
Packaging was outstanding, leaving nothing to any chance knocks.

His easy, detailed advice worked for me perfectly. He responds always very quick. Great repairer and nice guy. Highly recommended to everyone. Thanks a lot!

As with other reviewers I am totally satisfied with the very professional service I received in the replacement of an unusual barometer glass and refurbishment of the bezel and fittings. The quality of the materials and the craftsmanship of the work are superb. It was also done so quickly and efficiently. If you are looking for the experts in this type of work you do not have to search any further!

I found Horologica Clock repairs online .Hegave me some advise over the phone to try but he decided he would need to see my clock to get a better idea whats wrong . He kept me informed all the way and said two ways to deal with this problem complete strip down or alignment and adjustment . I opted for the cheaper method and i must say it works perfectly

I was searching for someone to replace the broken glass on a seventy, or so, year-old barometer. It’s not valuable but the barometer is of sentimental value. I found Horologica on-line and Gordon responded to my query by return.
I sent the bezel, with the cracked glass and slightly wonky needle in situ. Gordon replaced the glass, polished up the bezel and managed to get the needle looking like new.
The work was done speedily and returned to me with an explanation of what had been done. I’m delighted with the work. It’s lovely to see such craftsmanship, and a family heirloom is returned to use. Thank you!

My clock had a new quartz movement fitted and a small decorative repair to where the hands met on the dial. I would have awarded 10 stars for the friendly service and repair I received. Couldn’t have been better!

My mother's 40 ish year old wooden wall clock was temperamental - long hand not moving correctly and the time was therefore inaccurate. Gordon was knowledgeable and took the time to explain the work he was proposing to do on my mother's clock, in particular that the mechanism was obsolete and he would have to put in a different, modern mechanism and advising that the chime sound would be slightly different. I didn't expect Gordon to do the work so close to Christmas, so I was surprised to listen to the answerphone message advising me that the work was completed and my clock was ready for collection! I couldn't be happier with the service from Horologica and my mother is absolutely over the moon to get her clock back! Thank you so much Gordon

The chimes on my mother’s clock had stopped working and a nut that held the hands in place was missing. I emailed Gordon and with his advise I managed to get the clock chiming again and Gordon posted me a replacement but free of charge. Gordon went above and beyond.

We have a Georg Jensen clock with a battery quartz movement which suddenly stopped working after 20 years. No hope that Georg Jensen would be interested and little hope in fact that anybody would be prepared to fit a new movement but found Horologica on line and two emails later the clock was on its way to Billericay and a week later is now back on the wall working perfectly. Just wish we lived closer so we could take in our older, bigger clocks when they need servicing. Great service. Highly recommend.

I couldn't be happier with the service from Horologica. Gordon was knowledgeable and friendly, and took the time to explain in detail the work he was proposing to do on my clock. I felt my clock was in safe hands, and it was returned to me quickly, very securely packed and fully repaired.

Gordon provided a new glass and then repaired my barometer quickly and efficiently. It is now hanging back where it belongs and working perfectly. All achieved without fuss and in a friendly informative way.
