Had reached out to this company to…
Had reached out to this company to mount a tv to a wall. Told a fair quote price on the phone and from then on the experience went downhill. What started as around £149 turned into a quote on the day with VAT for over £400 as the engineer started adding various other jobs on and had his phone calculator out making up random prices (each time a new percentage of VAT had been added on and even the final quote didn’t add up). It was clear that the engineer sent out was trying to have me on as have found a more professional and effective company who has been able to do the entire job for less than the original quote I received here. Evidently this engineer was trying to take advantage. To make matters worse the engineer sent out walked all over my new carpets with dirty shoes and has left marks I now have had to have cleaned - the room in which I am mentioning isn’t even a room we needed any work to be carried out in but the engineer started showing himself around without my permission. They also acted very strange complimenting my home and wanting to enter rooms not specified in the job as well as, exploring what items we had in the home. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Would not recommend to friends or family very disappointed with the service and how the engineer behaved at my property.

Misleading pricing
Misleading pricing, surprise fees, and defensive customer support
I booked this company to wall-mount a TV. I was originally given a quote over the phone, but the pricing changed completely once the technician arrived at my home.
I was charged more despite providing my own bracket, and to make matters worse, a hidden VAT charge was tacked onto the final bill without prior notice taking a simple wall-mounting job to £180. Under UK consumer regulations, VAT should always be explicitly stated upfront for residential customers.
When I called customer service to raise my concerns about the lack of transparency, instead of handling the issue professionally or offering a simple apology, the representative was rude, aggressive, and defensive.
Total lack of pricing integrity and appalling customer care. Save yourself the stress and money—look elsewhere.

Found homevision on Google, spoke to Amber on the phone. She booked an engineer who came to quote the job the same day. Came back at 8.30 in the morning and was done in no time at all. Hooking up an ethernet cable to an outdoor gym and fitting a tv bracket.
Turned out to be a harder job due to some wires not being correct, but the engineer sorted it at no extra cost. No grumbles, just got on with it.
Friendly, efficient service. Would highly recommend.

I paid a deposit
I paid a deposit, the engineer did not come on the arranged day. I was promised an appointment the next day and that too didn’t happen. I requested a refund. They apologised and for falling short, said I would get a refund and that hasn’t happened. I called again and was promised a phone back and that hasn’t happened. Avoid.

I had an engineer who cam w to look at the job for a quote. He then went away and said he will let his office send me a quote. After a week or so l did hear anything but so l called the office and up to now noone has come back to me. Very unprofessional behaviour from these lots. Im disappointed
