Since I first met James at a guitar…
Since I first met James at a guitar show a few years back on a very packed stand.. I just needed a jack plug.. but he gave me the same amount of time as he would for someone spending much more.. his solder work is top notch and his shipping is super quick!.. I won't use anyone else..

A work of art
James delivered an extremely high-quality wiring harness…. It was all very well packaged and delivered promptly. His website is extremely easy to use , everything was very clear and concise. It made it at a hassle free process to order exactly what I needed.

Brilliant products
Brilliant products - I bought two of the solder-less wiring kits for my Strat. Easy to install, quick delivery. Would highly recommend to any guitarist who wants/needs to swap pickups in and out for different gigs or recordings.

Bought a Tesi 8mm Kill Switch for my ESP Eclipse fitted with EMG's, quality little switch and only 20mins to fit.Great comms, item despatched same day, received in 2 days, now fitted and very happy (Far better than the actual EMG kill switch you can buy - as very noisey in operation). It's great to see a small independent shop doing a good job with a very personal touch, loved the hand written card and sticker enclosed. In a world dominated by Bezos it makes you remember how things used to be for the better :-).

James was, from first to last, excellent to deal with. From his appraisal of my guitar through to it's service. Which when finished came with a complete breakdown of all the work he had done. My guitar is now quite literally, as good as new. James's willingness to engage with insight and extra knowledge about my guitar was an added bonus.

I bought the Fuzzmaster!
I bought the Fuzzmaster harness from James for my Jazzmaster and it is easily one of the best accessories I've purchased in a long time. The quality of the materials and workmanship make these harness more than worthwhile, and the Fuzz circuit on the Fuzzmaster is simply fantastic! I'm buying another for my other Jazzy. Wiring harness les paul
Les paul wiring harness: I emailed James directly as I couldn't find a listing on his site for what I was after. He got back to me fast and was able to make one like I wanted. Cheaper than big brands yet still using good quality parts. He gave me loads of advice on fitting the part myself and supplied a good diagram to follow. The install went a breeze thanks to james' help.
My only problem was the spline on the pots were all a bit too long resulting in my knobs sitting too high. This couldn't have been foreseen and James was very apologetic. Offered to make a new harness with shortened splines but I had already installed mines and decided to make do. This was the only issue I had but definitely worth querying if you are ordering a harness for a les paul. Apart from this I could not fault the kit or James advice at all. I am still glad I chose his gear.
He has since refunded me the full price of the harness I bought, totally unprompted. I did not ask for that and would have made do with my issue. Hopefully this gives you an idea what lengths the man is willing to go to to make sure his customers are happy. Genuine guy running a great business, I cannot recommend him enough!

Thank you for your kind review, and I totally understand and respect the frustration about postage to NI, I really do. It's far from ideal.
I do ship to NI, but only specific products (my pre-wired 'signature series' harness range currently) for the moment.
As I briefly explained to you via email during your initial inquiry, unfortunately it is a difficult thing currently. NI has been very much used as a political pawn, as it often is really, during the changes post-Brexit. NI has been included in the EU's 'GPSR' changes, where that all products shipped into EU, which unfortunately does actually include NI despite it being part of the UK, must have full safety documentation included, and have an EU based safety representative employed to liaise with customs and customers should concerns arise. That rep has to have all the documents for my products on file, which means I have to generate those safety documentations, as well as pay the EU based safety rep, which ultimately isn't always viable on every product in my range. I have invested in that process with my pre-wired kits due to the popularity of that product range, but the costs and time involved to do it with everything sadly just isn't viable as I am only a 1 man micro business doing my best to try and keep afloat.
There is also the 'Windsor Framework' in place now which I have to navigate when selling/shipping goods into NI, something put in place in reaction to Brexit, where I can ship to an individual/residentional address in NI with minimal hassle and just fairly basic product information for customs reasons (other than what has already been noted), but shipping to a business address requires additional processes. On my webshop/checkout, I can't prevent an order being placed specifically for a NI business address whilst allowing an order for a regular NI home address. So I have to temporarily stop all webshop orders to NI, and instead process them manually myself to ensure it is correctly handled and processed with the correct details for clearance.
Trust me, I wish it was simpler, jumping through the many, many hoops that have been put in place post-Brexit and internationally currently has been a full time job in of itself sadly. I'm doing my best to try and get all products back up and running as normal, but it takes time and money so I'm just having to prioritise certain product ranges that are most popular and most viable first really. Definitely aware this isn't ideal, and very grateful of your order despite the hassle of having to have it shipped elsewhere. Appreciate your kind words saying you'd use my business again, means a lot, but totally understand why this would be a 4 star review due to the postage hurdles, really do wish it was simpler process but it has been made more challenging thanks to the windsor framework and the EU GPSR changes sadly. But I am doing my best in trying to get this all resolved my end, as long as it's viable to do so.

Had to deal with some issues I required support for due to me making a mistake and shipping was minimally damaged by arrival by the post.
Great response times of less than an hour, extra care by requesting extra fotos to inspect potential damage. throughout all possible interactions superb service!

Thanks for your kind understanding, and very sorry again about your packaging getting damaged. I appreciate you sending me photos through so I could check over the product in full, and could 100% confirm that the product itself was not damaged at all, and that it was only packaging that had received some unfortuntate damage as a result of the international shipping process. Very sorry for the concerns caused though, but glad the packaging did it's job and protected the product itself.
