Our previous fridge freezer was a Samsung American side by side which we bought in 2001. We loved it. It gave us cold water and ice. It kept temperature in both sections. It looked good too. It lasted 20 years. But then we moved in 2021, and sadly our cherished, reliable, dear old friend didn't fit into our new kitchen. So we went for the Liebherr because, hey, German! Workmanship! Vorspung durch tecknic (thanks Audi) and all that. We thought we’d get another 20 years. Ha! How wrong we were. The door seal began to split after a few months. We called our supplier, they called Liebherr. The new seal would take time to arrive. In the event it took over 2 months. A very nice chap turned up with the seal to fit it, as it’s a professional job. It was the wrong seal. He apologised profusely, though clearly it was not his fault, and then we waited another 6 weeks for him to be sent the correct seal. He returned and fitted it. Within a few months the second seal began to split. We tried for a replacement again. This time Liebherr was clear. It must be our fault. We were opening the fridge door incorrectly (!). It went backwards and forwards for a while and they asked for a video. Seriously. Of what? Us opening the fridge door? At the time our lives were very full. My mother and my husband’s father were both very ill (in their 90s). We were travelling backwards and forwards constantly, mine overseas, my husband’s 2-3 hours each way, and a faulty fridge door seal was the least of our worries. I wish this site gave me the ability to download photos of the seal, because by the time we got rid of the fridge it was hanging off the door, covered in gluey gunk. We have just bought a new fridge freezer. I would never buy a Liebherr again and I would urge you to look very closely before you consider one. I completely understand problems arise, but it's how the company deals with them that matters. I see that the majority of reviews on this site are either 5 star or 1 star. My experience was utterly one star. Just don't go there.

Nice fridge however the app took ages to register/ activate then couldn't connect to wifi as fridge been on for more than 30mins, phoned help line eventually spoke to someone who could help ( first person didn't seem to know much about the product). So now have switch the fridge off for a few minutes then restart the process, sorry but far to complicated for an under counter fridge that cost £420.

I was having trouble registering a freezer for a promotional 10 year warranty.
Liebherr customer services responded to my email very quickly & sorted the issue without any further issues.
First class, would definitely use again.

7 jaar geleden de koelvriescombinatie Liebherr CN 4213 21 gekocht. 5 mnd na aankoop moest er al een service monteur voor komen.
Nu in afgelopen jaar voor de 3x valt plots koelkast uit. Deze lijkt zich alleen te kunnen resetten wanneer de vriezer ook 48 uur uit is.... zodoende al 2 maal in allerijl , diepvriesproducten elders moeten onderbrengen.
Dat uitvallen komt steeds vaker terug.
We zijn afgelopen maand wederom naar de winkel gegaan waar we , let wel... Goed geadviseerd de aankoop hebben gedaan!!!
Nul op rekest nadat er op EP hun kosten, monteur is langs geweest op 27 11 die constateerde dat ( waarschijnlijk!) de electronica die ventilatoren aanstuurt stuk is.
Pardon!? Hoe dan?!
Apparaat leeft hier in weelde , keurig en schoon. Heb ik daar 700 euro voor betaald en al die keren mn diepvries voorraad voor groot deel weg heb moeten gooien!
Ik koop nooit meer dat prachtig luxe merk Liebherr waarvan het vergelijk met bijvoorbeeld rolls royce wordt gemaakt.
Let wel
na 5 maanden, eerste storing na aankoop, wilden we eigenlijk al een nieuw apparaat omdat ie ook zoveel lawaai maakte!!

Apart from the fact that our fridge/freezer works very well, I was very satisfied that their customer services rectified my online guarantee, unprompted, by correcting the 2 years to 10 as quoted on the purchase offer at AO appliances. As a carer time is limited, and I myself could not spare the time. I imagine if the care from the services department is reflected in the manufacture then I will be extremely satisfied. JW

In common with other reviewers I found the process of registering for the warranty difficult. It is overly complicated, requiring computer skills to upload proof of purchase. Even then their systems seem unreliable. However, having e-mailed my problem to their help line, Liehherr’s representative, Jane, sorted it out quickly for me. So 5 stars for Jane!
The fridge freezer we bought is really well constructed, the instruction manual clear and it looks good in our kitchen.
We especially like the digital control panel which is informative and helpful giving separate temperature readings in the fridge and freezer.
Overall an excellent experience.

I bought a fridge freezer via the website, and couldnt be happier.
I now have a high quality product with a 10 year warranty, and recieved excellent service from Monae when I had a query about the warranty.
I have just one negative comment, and this is with regard to the delivery company, AiT.
First, I had to do all the chasing to get a delivery date, then they didnt phone as promised 30 minutes prior to the delivery, and the 2 delivery men simply dumped it in my kitchen, said 'sign here' and then scarpered. Not a single hello, good morning or thank you
Don't let this put you off, but manners cost nothing.

really please with this very quiet freezer with excellent capacity.
Better still came with ten year guarantee which Liebherr applied and informed me about as I had only registered for standard two year warranty. Thank you Liebherr I ilk forward to being your customer.

This may be an unusual request. I already have a Liebherr fridge freezer, which is excellent - 5stars.
However, I wish to buy a second FF, but in preference, one actually made in Germany, rather than Bulgaria or the Far East.
Customer services have been as helpful as they can be, but are able to provide country of origin only if I give them individual model numbers. This is time consuming, given the extensive choice of models . Is it not possible to be given a list of country of manufacture for all your fridge freezer models? Thankyou

Bought a Liebherr RC1400 Fridge to replace a fridge that was still working after 20+ years. The Liebherr has developed a fault after a year and trashed a fridge full of food. Repaired after a month under warranty.
Repair engineer was excellent. Diagnosed fault, ordered parts and finally replaced parts.
So yes, fixed and working again. But failed after a year doesn't inspire with with confidence after I specifically paid out more for what I thought was a more reliable make.

We bought the Liebherr ECBNe7870 Premium Plus Integrated American Fridge Freezer as we needed a wide fridge to fit the space in the kitchen. We paid premium for the size, but my goodness was it worth it. The veg drawers alone are worth it, and we’ve found vegetables and fruit that would normally have gone off weeks ago, remains fresh and usable when we’d have normally have thrown it away, so much so that we’re barely buying fresh veg, and waste almost nothing out of those drawers. I’d almost want 4 of these drawers for all the bits we have I there.
Other benefits are it’s quiet, freezer drawers are a tad smaller than we’d have liked but have a separate chest freezer for overflow, and the ice maker is a good addition.

We bought a brand new NEFF fridge freezer to replace our old one. We bought it from London Appliances and installed it ourselves ...basically just plugging it in.
It is rated at 35 decibels but we were shocked to hear it so loud we started to turn it off at nigh time. It was also vibrating and we found ourselves opening the fridge freezer door to move around dishes which were rattling. Dealing with London appliance company was a nightmare and eventually we managed to get them to take it back but we had to quote and rely on our consumer rights...it was a nightmare and we would never deal with this company again.
We bought our Liebherr fridge freezer and were only able to hear it for a few hours until the freezer got started......now we cannot hear it at all and you would wonder if it is even plugged in.... :) but it is working perfectly.....it has DUO technology and this is what makes the difference. We never even hear the compressor starting up or switching off so I have no idea how they managed such fantastic technology. We will always buy Liebherr from now on. Company was very professional and was easy to deal with.

I ordered a Liebherr fridge freezer on the 22nd of September, delivery was made on the 30th of September(that's eight days). The fridge freezer was scratched so had to go back. Next delivery was made on the 8th of October(that's sixteen days). I requested an afternoon delivery as I run a guest house. The delivery driver turned up at 8.30.I asked of he could return in the afternoon-''Sorry, no can do'' I asked them to leave it at the side of the house and I would bring it in later ''No can do''-It was left in my breakfast room in the box with my paying guests still having breakfast .Absolutely awful and embarrassing. In the afternoon I receive a call from the delivery company asking if they could come back and un-pack the fridge and take the packaging, to which I refused- what sort of cowboy company is this.
The fridge actually has two more dents on the front which can be seen across light.
They are sending me a new door which will take another 28 days to be delivered. Let's hope it's not damaged.
I paid £899 for this fridge/freezer and it probably is worth the money, but the hassle and grief I have had to go through with this company is certainly not worth it.
My rights as a consumer means that I have 30 days to accept this fridge, on the 29th day I shall be giving it back and demanding a full refund.
