Excellent service,just had a resin driveway layed so wanted some form of rubbish disposal that wouldn’t wreck the floor Hippobag does the job easy to order and arrange collection just purchased a bigger skip bag for further disposal.

Absolute farce of a collection
Absolute farce of a collection. Waited in all day for a collection, blocked off parking and was repeatedly told that it would be by five o clock.
When five o clock rolled round I rang to enquire and was told that the subcontractor wouldn’t be coming. This has left us with a garden full of rubble, builders unable to bring drywall in and ‘nothing to be done till Monday’
The customer service person told me it sounded ‘very frustrating’ which I would fully agree with.
This is the second failed collection and each and every time I have had to chase and they have made it my problem.
I’m not holding out much hope for this Monday collection.

Got mega bag on Wednesday filled it level load with hard core on Thursday rang to arrange pick up on said bag was told up to 5 working days…… next day (Friday) bag was gone before 9am. What is not to like with that service many thanks

An excellent service, the hippo bag arrived very quickly, easy to set up. And once the collection was booked the bag was collected quickly and with no hassle. So much easier than a skip. I would definitely use hippo bag again and recommended them to family and friends! Takes the hassle out of waste collection.

Got the job done
Driver managed to navigate his way up a narrow road, with individuals trying to pull off their driveway to get to work. Driver was professional and polite, only required me to move my car. Showed skill to lift my Hippo Skip, without taking out overhead telephone cables. Great service, I purchasd my bag independently, filled it, booked it and off it went. Would definitely use again and recommend.

Fast, easy and efficient service, lots of advice over the phone regarding what I could (and couldn't) put in the bag.
Much less intrusive and easier to place than a traditional skip and an easy painless pick up.

Megabag soil collection
Just had Hippo come to collect the soil, and he said he couldn’t lift it as it’s too heavy 🤔 1.5t mega-Bag (soil) — he reckons it’s 3t because it’s wet. He was going to leave it!
It’s 4 mtrs from the kerb, but he said it was 6 mtrs… Well, get your lorry closer, pull in to the kerb and drop your feet on my drive, then you have less than 4 mtr lifting distance.
He said it’s wet. I said, “I know, it’s raining!” 😬 I told him I used to operate these Hiabs myself, so get closer and it will lift.
Guess what? I was right, and it lifted! 🫣😂🥳
Do be mindful of weight and lifting distance and you will be fine 👍
