Appalling Company
I have been waiting for 4 weeks to have my bags removed. Hippo blsim as its work done by Wickes, the collection has to be booked by them.
This has been done and yet Hippo still claim not to have received a collection notification. Noe they are disputing yhe number of bands despite receiving a photo which clearly shows 3 bags.
They are the most incompetent company that I have ever dealt.

Quick easy and simple process
Quick easy and simple process. Left notes for the driver incase we weren’t in. We were in but driver didn’t bother us, just carried on collecting the skip bag. I popped out to say Hello and the driver was friendly and professional. Collection took less than 5 mins. Really happy with the service and how easy it was. Would definitely use Hippo again! Highly recommend
The bag arrived within a couple of days, I had the largest one. It sat for a few months whilst I was getting around to do the job it was needed for, during which time I received a polite reminder that I had not arranged collection which I had prepaid for. You have up to six months before it expires. Did the job put the items in the bag, ordered collection and it was collected 1 week later. Like skips there are items that you cannot put in the bag and are barred. You need to be aware of where you locate the bag for collection as the collection vehicle will not go onto driveways to stop potential damage to that driveway, also keep away from under trees. All in all I found this service excellent and would recommend it. For context I live in Cornwall.

Great skip alternative
Needed a good alternative to a skip to get rid of some rubble (when Isay some, I mean a LOT) from a garden project. After reading up on it, I decided to go with a Hippo Bag.
I was not sure what to expect, but everything was great. The bag was delivered next day and it was then picked up within the 5 working days they state, after I scheduled collection. I was a bit worried the rubble I put in there might be too heavy, but it was all good and the driver was super helpful during collection. It was cheaper thqn getting even a small skip and I will definitely use them again!!!

Not the best experience initially
I tried to use the website and it wouldn't let me make a new account because someone else had account at the address. I didn't qualify for the online discount because I bought my hippo bag at Wickes. The midi bag ended up costing over £200. When I phoned up, the agent said her headset was causing feedback on the line, it wasn't the best experience and the agent was rather brusque.
Having said, I was pleased to receive a quick follow-up on my review and our hippo bag was picked up very quickly by a very nice chap.

Hippo skips allow flexible timings to fill and collect
I have had Hippo skips four times. They always turn up within the first two days of the five day collection period. Never any fuss. It is like magic!
