It took a while to have my item delivered. They did call me to explain what happened - an issue with a courier service they have now ironed out. I am satisfied with the result. Overall a decent company with good customer service.

Great service as always from this knowledgeable and friendly firm. I ordered a pair of very high end ear buds. They were delivered the next day but I was having problems changing the ear tips so Aseem sent me a quick video he made, showing how to do it and then he phoned me to make sure everything was okay. It’s that personal touch that sets this firm apart.

Communication and service was excellent - Sounds like the supplier messed them around a little with lead times as I pre-ordered, which I fully understand can happen working for a supplier myself. However, customer service is not about the issues - it's how they deal with them and Hifonix did so with absolute grace.

From point of order, I was phoned and updated regularly with no prompting required from myself. Looking forward to visiting and buying more in the hopefully, not-so-distant future.

I rarely leave reviews, but Hifonix kept me fully informed of my order progress from first placing through shipment from China to final delivery, including personal phone calls to keep me updated. I'll be shopping from here again.

I bought some headphones from these guys about 6 months ago. Unfortunately they went faulty. I returned them and within a couple of weeks not only did they replace my headphones but actually sent me an upgrade. The staff were really friendly and helpful throughout. I wanted to upgrade my Stax SRS – 3100 system and decided on the Stax SRM D-50 and the Stax SR L-700 MKii.

I looked around on the web and came across a company called Premium Sound who stocked both items at reasonable prices and as a bonus advertised that they did trade in's as well. This was ideal as my SRS-3100 system was only purchased 2 months before. After a bit of back and forth received an email saying did I mind a 7 day wait? No, not at all, I wasn’t in a tearing rush. Agreed a fair trade-in price and ordered and paid for my new headphones and amp on the 14th October.

By the 28th of October I had heard nothing from Premium Sound so emailed them to ask what was happening. They replied they would chase up their Stax supplier. Then got another email on 2nd November to say that apparently the shipment was delayed due to “freighter issues” but they should be with them next week. Next week came and went with no word from Premium Sound so on 10th November I emailed again and asked for a refund.

After stating that they had confirmed with Stax that both items were on their way and would be with them “early next week at the latest” (sound familiar?) they then stated, and I quote, “if you would prefer a refund we will honor your request.”

Now maybe it’s just me, but that wording really annoyed me. They would ‘honor’(spelled wrong) my request?? It’s as if they were doing me a favour giving me my money back after supplying me with nothing, keeping me waiting for nearly a month, and giving me ridiculous excuses like ‘freighter problems’. Presumably there’s some tramp steamer broken down in the Sea of Japan with my headphones and amp on it. Yeah, right!

Contrast that experience with the amazing Hifonix. After I got the "we'll have it next week, definitely, really, honest, promise, fingers crossed" email from Premium Sound on Monday 13th November, I called Hifonix while I was at work and got Aseem, told him my tale of woe, and was assured he could have the items delivered to my home on Thursday 16th so I could be at home to receive them. During the call he advised that the D-50 was having some reliability problems and that I would be better off with the Stax SRM-400S. And that although the 400S was more expensive he would give it to me for the same price as the D-50! I received a couple more calls and emails keeping me updated, and sure enough, at mid-day on Thursday my Stax items arrived.

We are rightly quick to point out poor customer service nowadays, but I feel we should also highlight good customer service, or in this case EXCEPTIONAL customer service!
