If I could give 0 stars - I would...
I don't even know where to start...
I purchased an Olivia 2 together with a photo stand and 2 backdrops. The site looked quite 'Chinese' in the sense that there we're many 'last chance' offers. But well, ratings and profile on Instagram seemed legit, so I decided to trust the company and product.
1. SENT FROM CHINA - 2 WEEKS DELIVERY
First of all I was wondering why product didn't come. Finaaaaally I got a tracking and saw that it was sent directly from China. I asked the company about this, and they told me it was sent directly from their 'distribution hub' in China. This was my first alert. Cause production in China is not an issue as such - but I was worried about the lack of quality control. But well...
2. PRODUCT ARRIVES
Fiiiiinally my product arrives. But the seal has been broken and box seemed quite smashed. However, it could be the transportation, so well...
3. BLUETOOTH REVEALS DIFFERENT PRODUCT
I find a cable in my house and charge the Olivia. Hereafter I want to connect to the device via Bluetooth. When doing so, there's a device called DUCSUAL. Must be it. But out of curiosity, I google the DUCSUAL photo stand - and turns out this is an Alibabba marketplace item - at about 25% of the cost.......
4. PRODUCT IS FAULTY
In the instruction manual, there's a clear view of the stand being able to go into a 90 degree angle. Mine is not able to do so - it's all crooked. By now I write for support. I am writing about the crooked item, the broken seal and the DUCSUAL - and expresses that this is dissapointing to me. Reply: 'Oh we're so sorry, but please use the hex device to adjust the angle. It's together with the charging cable in the small bag'.
Only... I got NO charging cable, and there's no small bag. Reply? 'All products are carefully checked before shipment, so it should be there'.
But well... it's NOT. And no accountability for the broken seal which could be the cause.
5. PHOTO STAND
Unpacking now the photo stand. The stand-foot should be a weighted and padded metalstand. Well, metal alright - but clearly just quickly carved out from a machine. Sharp edges and no possibility of placing on a table without protection. I'm sending a video and photo - 3 times. They claim to have never received.
6. HOW DID WE DO EMAIL
Finally, without my case being taken seriously at any point (except from the 'Oh, we're so sorry'-mails from the (ChatBot???) 'James') - I get an email asking to rate them...
I give them one final chance. Sending an email and expressing my frustration. Answer? They were waiting for my photos??
But of course, I can get a full refund - IF I return the products. Only - just one demand - I need to send EVERYTHING back - INCLUDING the cable and the hex tool.... that I never received!! Otherwise there can be non refund.
I am utterly frustrated. I have paid 4 x the value of the product, and there are items missing and the quality is NOT as expected.
But guess the joke is on me... I fell for their marketing stunts - especially on Instagram! And all those excited customers? They are probably only that because you get a 30USD refund if you make a video with the product...
CANNOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Regarding shipping, our fulfilment hub is based in China so we can consolidate shipments to Europe, North America, and Asia more efficiently. However, this does not affect the level of service or support our customers receive, and we are sorry that your experience did not reflect that.
We are sorry to hear that your parcel arrived with damaged packaging and a broken seal. While this can occasionally happen during transit, we completely understand why this raised concerns about the condition of the items on arrival.
We also sincerely apologise for the missing charging cable and Allen/hex tool. We understand this was the main source of frustration throughout your experience. Our intention was never to question your honesty, but rather to follow our standard support procedures while we investigated the issue. We also acknowledge that our communication caused unnecessary back-and-forth, and we are sorry for the frustration this added.
We can confirm that the replacement charging cable and Allen key were arranged and successfully delivered on 24 May. We appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve this.
Regarding the Olivia stand angle adjustment, the device is designed to be adjustable, and we are sorry to hear that you experienced difficulty with this. We also understand your disappointment with the finish of the Product Photography Stand and regret that it did not meet your expectations.
We also apologise for the inconvenience caused by the repeated requests for photos and videos. As a small business, we do ask for these where possible so we can better understand reported issues, improve our products, and assist as accurately as we can. We understand this felt repetitive in your case and apologise for that.
In relation to refunds and returns, our policy requires returned items to be received before a refund can be processed, and shipping fees are non-refundable. We had also confirmed that your Olivia unit could still be returned even if the charging cable and Allen key had not originally been included.
We would also like to clarify that the review invitation email was sent automatically as part of our post-purchase system and was not linked to your support case.
We genuinely regret that your experience did not reflect the standard we aim to provide. We appreciate your feedback, and we are always working to improve both our products and our customer support. Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to resolve the missing items.
The package arrived quickly (Great Customer Service)
The package arrived quickly. The Olivia was well packed. I watched a video about the Olivia 2 features. I missed the fact I was getting version 1 instead. This will work for me because I want to record weaving on a vertical loom, so the stand should not be in the shot. The documentation is skimpy. There is no explanation for how to attach the phone. I’m always worried I’ll break the equipment if I cannot see the instructions. Nevertheless, I am happy with my purchase and look forward to using it.
Update: After they reached out to me, I figured out I did have the Olivia 2. I was able to lift the stand higher than I had before (without breaking it).

Took Long To Ship / Partial Refund
The item took way too long to ship, and when I asked them to cancel the order as I told them I had purchased a replacement, then the item was magically shipped. I told them that I will be returning the order. I didn't even open the package, and I returned for a refund. But I only got a partial refund. I lessoned learned to never buy from Instagram ads.

Just to clarify, your order was received on 19 March, and your cancellation request came in on 27 March. As per our policy, we’re only able to cancel orders within 3 hours of purchase, as orders are processed for fulfilment shortly after they are placed.
In your previous email, the reason for requesting cancellation was due to “the extended processing time, you have decided to purchase an alternative that includes a remote at no additional cost.”
You were refunded for the product only, as shipping fees are non-refundable. We also sent you a brand new Olivia.
You also mentioned the parcel was not opened, which we were able to confirm once it was received back with us.
We really appreciate you sharing your experience, and we’ll take your feedback on board as we continue improving.
Reviewing Olivia Compact Content Creator Tool
I am reviewing the Olivia Compact Content Creator Tool. It took awhile to receive it through the mail; however, the company informed me that that could happen because of customs. I received it in perfect condition. The base is very sturdy, I love that about this tool; however, I’m disappointed in the height. I did not realize that I would lose 4” in height because of the only position for the phone when you want to do overhead recording. I am going to need to prop it up on a sturdy box or something in order to get more in my camera view, depending on what I’m trying to record. I think this Olivia tool would be perfect if the 4” were not being lost, hence the reason for only 3 stars. Perhaps in general, if Olivia could just be telescoped another 4”-6”.

Never received my order
Never received my order, only an order confirmation. Stated orders are processed and will get tracking when shipped. It's coming up on two months and still have received nothing and no response from customer service other than and automated response that they are looking into my inquiry and someone will respond shortly but never does.

Product is Great, Shipping experience was OK.
The product is great, the quality is sturdy - there are a couple of things that I'm not 100% on like how the clamp that holds the phone wobbles - though I'm not sure if that's by design. Everything feels high quality, looks great and feels premium. It doesn't wobble, the base it stable and everything connects super easily for a quick and breezy setup out of the box.
I do find the charger point to be in an awkward place, possibly introducing some sort of cable management along the telescopic pole would be an idea to consider - the cable doesn't get in the way of filming, but it is just sort of hanging there and I am a cable management fiend that likes a tidy setup.
I'm finding that the light is very harsh, casting strong shadows when I use it, so I think a stronger diffuser would go a long way, but it does the job when you need it to.
The shipping process was probably the only thing that bothered me, and it was only a little - the updates were sporadic and sparse, though I believe this is attributed to the shipping company and not the supplier. It took 4 weeks to arrive, which is pretty normal, but there was no indication of how long shipping would take when I purchased the product - I think an estimate when ordering would be very helpful.
Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and it's going to allow me to create the content that I have been dreaming of!

Works fine but instructions could be better
Olivia mini - it works fine but it was very difficult to extend the arm the first time. To the point that it took several people and a lot of determination to get it unstuck
Customer service team kept sending link to the product listing page without clearly explaining anything. The walkthrough video doesn't explain anything besides the usual 'just pull it out', so it just felt like my concerns weren't heard and it was an incredibly frustrating experience.
In reality, the extendable arm can be really stuck.. put it between your feet, hold with your arm and push/pull.
The tripod itself is fine, even though the packaging it came in with made me doubtful: the brand name was nowhere to be seen. And it came with Chinese "instructions" rather than anything branded.

For the price, not worth it as an artist working with tiny materials and need to have the phone close up.
I like that the phone can be placed at different levels without the base being in the way, but i was very unimpressed with the lighting. On the brightest light setting I still had to have multiple lights around me to be able to light up my art desk and see what I was doing. Because the phone had to be offset from the light, the light in my video was also offset. Also the fact you dont provide a charging brick, even if you had options for different countries to choose from, was annoying because now I had to go buy something else on top of the insanely expensive thing I bought. Which btw, increasing the price and putting it on sale to make it look like you get a deal is not a good look for a company. For the price, I'm not happy with the light quality, especially once I saw it was shipping directly from China and not the location on your site. I wouldn't recommend this for artists who work on very tiny, detailed art and need to film close up because the light is not going to be enough for you to see

Good, does what it says it will, the batter doesn't last too long on the light though.
It's solid, well built and holds my heavy s25 ultra at full extension without moving.
My only gripe is that the battery for the light doesn't last very long.

For the light, higher brightness levels do use more power, so the battery won’t last quite as long. For extended use, you can keep Olivia plugged in and continue using it comfortably.

Not worth the money or time.
Doesn’t wall plug in. Battery life is 1 hour off charger. Cable is usb and not even long enough to reach an outlet.
Didn’t come with an Allen wrench. I can’t adjust the tighteners. Can’t hold the weight of a phone without falling.
Virtually unusable at this moment.
Website doesn’t have easy navigation to return product.
Feels like a scam where they just hope you don’t have enough willpower to attempt to return a mediocre product.

To clarify, Olivia is designed to be powered via USB and can be used while plugged into a wall adapter or on battery power. On the highest brightness setting, the battery lasts approximately one hour, which is outlined in our product details. A USB cable and an Allen key for adjustments are included with every order, and we’re sorry to hear this was not your experience.
We did offer you the option to return the product for a refund or exchange and provided return instructions via email. However, as explained in our correspondence, returns need to be in their original condition, including the original packaging. Unfortunately, without the original box, we were unable to proceed with the return under our policy.
