Tried to book for a concert at Sandringham next year. All the disabled tickets for the AVP platform had gone but I could buy the general ones. That would have been OK if I could bring something to sit... Se mere

We went to see Roger Daltrey Friday night.. from the security on entrance and venders, were absolutely fantastic!! But big shout out to the security (purple parking) they were all so polite, and the guy (sorry didn't get his name) he wore black and from Sunderland, what a great team!! We will definitely be visiting again when there is an event on! The guys on the main bar were fantastic, no waiting time and again service with a smile
The beach boys were wonderful, which is good because otherwise shambolic rip off
The beach boys were wonderful -e Mike Love and Bruce Johnston can still carry a show and their enthusiasm is touching. Love’s honest and bittersweet tribute to Brian was incredibly moving - although surprised that people felt the need to pack up for the car park fairly thoughtlessly at that point. Thoughtful delegation of those high parts and belts to younger band members - who were awesome. The day was marred totally by the shambolic organisation - VIP area had been oversold - my 81 yo father unable to use it as we needed seats and even hired deckchair refused. When 2 people were sat on enormous and ugly green baize “relaxed” sofas, you wondered if it had been organised by someone’s teenager who’d just finished a hospitality course. £70 “vip” wristbands literally turned out to be money for old rope.
Maybe those packing up early during a memorial knew something I was to learn the hard way. Leaving the car park was genuinely dangerous. The inexperienced stewards and security had no clue what to do and it was lucky not to turn ugly… clearly what little cash the promoters were willing to spend was only spent on external traffic Marshalls, no doubt to adhere to the letter, if not the intent of council licensing requirements. If you plan to go to a Heritage promoted event, I’d recommend avoiding the VIP tickets if you need a seat unless you really value better toilets and easier bar access. And go by train.
VIP not worth it
We paid for VIP as my husband is not very mobile at the moment. I understand seating is available on a first come first served basis but we weren't allowed to bring in our own chairs . We had to pay £10 to hire a deck chair (another money making con). Heritage know how many VIP tickets were sold so why then charge an extra £10 per person. Bottle of cheap wine £12 more than last year. They couldn't care less once they have your money. VIP should mean VIP not rip off
Well organised but a bit disappointing
Went to see the Beach boys concert that also featured Lulu and David Essex. I was impressed with the ease of parking - no delays even though the pre-info suggested 1.5 hours.
Less impressed by the cost of food and drink and the warning NOT to take any of your own in. It seemed as if many ignored that and were still let in.
As go the acts, well LULU was amazing. David Essex was good but is an old man singing David Essex songs. The Beach Boys drummer was awesome but Mike Love has lost his high pitch voice and so it was disappointing and was why we left 15 mins early (allowing us to get out of the car park with minimal delay. There should have been some signage of rows in the car park as in the dark you do lose bearings.
My advice is to try to find out if the band you want to see is still up to scratch - instrumentally the Beach Boys were but vocally were pretty poor
2 hours to get out of car park absolute…
2 hours to get out of car park absolute joke spoilt the evening
Would not go again also the fact you can’t take anything In not even water
Money making rip off
We went to Ministry of Sound Classical…
We went to Ministry of Sound Classical on 18/07/25 at Englefield Estate, and I can't praise the organisers enough for how well it was run. It was a really hot day, but free drinking water available. Plenty of wardens collecting rubbish throughout the day, so very little litter. Benches and hay bales to sit on and able to bring own camping chairs and picnic blankets, which was great at such a beautiful setting. Plenty of food and drink outlets to suit all tastes - a bit pricey, but to be expected now at events like this. Organised parking wardens helped move the traffic entering and leaving, which moved pretty quickly considering the amount of cars. All in all a very enjoyable day, helped immensely by the beautiful weather ☀️

Shockingly bad customer service
Shockingly bad customer service. I attended Sandringham Robbie Williams concert August 2023 and camping facilities were extortionately priced and appalling. Portaloos were not fit for use as not emptied at all. No showers provided as advertised at £70 per night!! At the time I complained and was offered VIP tickets for another event (which is what I bought originally but would certainly not recommend either as not enough seating available so I had to sit on the wet grass). I've contacted them to ask for tickets to a Sandringham concert this year (2025) as conveniently there were no concerts held there in 2024... I have had no response. Giles Cooper has been awarded an OBE since but frankly I'm appalled. Leaving the venue was dangerous as no security stopping bottleneck occurring at in adequate exits. I was hoping for an opportunity to give Sandringham gigs another go but I'm certainly not willing to pay after my previous experience.
Excellent venue, but bad transport set up
Excellent venue, great sound, great day but was really disappointed by lack of organisation behind the bar, having to wait over an hour to get served each time. Our journey home was an absolute joke, we left just before the end of the concert to get into the queue for a taxi, but absolutely nothing arrived for over an hour, apart from the pre booked cabs. It’s a shame, no shuttle bus service provided or help to direct people home.
In the end we had to walk a mile and half in pitch black darkness along a dangerous pathway back to Audley End Station, where there was still no Cabs. Please improve your system so your guests can pick up a signal to try organise their own transport so you can help them to get home safely and retain a great memory of the day.
VIP area was not better but worse than standard tickets
We paid to go VIP and that area was left of the stage and viewing was bad.. we had standard ticket in front so having VIP ticket was a waisted of money.
We ended up moving to get a better view.
Concert and venue excellent, drinks expensive
Concert excellent as is venue. Drinks very expensive, carafe of rose £44 (enough for 4), £5 deposit on carafe which vendor couldn't return using card only payment method so staff member used own money to refund. We were accused of being 'horrible' women by a very angry female. Why ask for a deposit if it can't be refunded and why extortionate cost of drink..about time Heritage Live allows one small bottle of alcohol to be taken in. Ruined what was a lovely evening.
Excellent venue. Just lacking some organisation
This is a lovely venue. The setup etc is brilliant - great bands really entertaining and good chance of seeing the stage
Unfortunately for the busier nights the bars just cannot cope creating unnecessary long queues
I left slightly earlier to make my train.
I had to walk alone for a long time just to get to the entrance with no one around. No shuttle buses available to the train station means people walking nearly 2 miles in the dark.
Attended Madness Concert which was…
Attended Madness Concert which was good. Unfortunately the entire experience was ruined by truly shocking lack of control of car exit. Multiple staff standing around directly at the exit doing absolutely nothing but cars largely left to fend for themself. Very dangerous and liable to create road rage as people pushed in to queues. Amazed if no bumps/ minor accidents occurred where some lines of 6/7 widths of cars tried to merge into one. Entry fine/ exit awful and clearly the venue organisers/ staff didn’t care at all. Got your money so tough.
Awful crowd and vehicle control.
The concert was fine and the venue is beautiful. But on leaving the crowd is forced down a single narrowing exit which is very dangerous and completely unnecessary. The stewards were pretty invisible until near the exit where there were dozens of them. Those that were directing were clearly innexperienced. There is a warning that "entry and exit may take up to 90minutes" From my experience that is the average time to get out. I will not use the venue again.
Excellent venue. I would certainly use again.
Plenty of advance information and excellent well informed staff. We went to see Madness at Englefield House supported by Lightening Seeds and Old Time Sailors. All the performers were excellent but what made the experience great was the staff at the venue. Ample people giving, directions, first aiders, security and team of litter pickers constantly rotating the site with bin bags keeping the ground spotless; these guys were absolute heroes and amazingly cheerful, polite and hard working. The house makes a beautiful backdrop. Yes, it took 45 minutes to leave the car park but we had been forewarned that it would take 90 minutes so this was a pleasant surprise. The rest of the day went smoothly, ample facilities meant no queuing for food, toilets, bar. Food was averagely priced compared to other festivals I have been to. (It's always really expensive but that's what I now expect) Plenty of clear information and signage. Audience was politely advised by security to prevent inconsiderate behaviour so everyone got a decent view. Gently sloping arena and plenty of huge screens were also a help in making a fantastic experience.
VIP was a big con
VIP was a big con. Don’t waste your money on the excessively priced uplift
One star is too much
One star is too much. This company is a money grabbing company who put lives at risk, how are they organising these events.
Went to Robbie Williams on the 27th Aug missed all the support acts trying to get into the car park took 5 hours. No security or parking signage so couldn’t find the car. No one checking the car parking tickets could have got in for free and not paid the £10 fee. Just took the money and didn’t care what happened to people and their safety during or after the event. Won’t ever go to one of their concerts again.
I complained but got an email back basically saying I was a liar.
What money grabbing company
What money grabbing company. Went to see Robbie at Sandringham. Over priced food drinks 7 hours of standing as we could not bring own chairs or umbrellas when it rained. 10 quid for a deckchair that broke . Staff very rude when showing tickets. Ill never goto a gig that this company has any involvement in. If i could give zero stars i would
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. Travelled to Sandringham to see Robbie Williams on 27th Aug. Stuck in traffic for 5 hrs for a journey that should have taken less than an hour. No signs, no stewards.
People getting out of their cars to go to the toilet at the edge of the road.
We gave up after sitting in traffic for 5 hours and not even on the Sandringham estate. Lost our ticket money and train fare from London.
Been to many outdoor concerts including Robbie at Knebworth. Never experienced such a shambles. Not going to let this rest- Heritage Live you take people’s money and don’t even have the courtesy to reply to messages/ emails.
Robbie was great but Heritage live a shambles!
Saw Robbie at Sandringhsm. Enjoyed the concert immensely.
Shame the last part of the evening was a bit of a pain in the backside. The concert ended at 11am and I eventually got home just before 3am! Normally a 25min drive but after the concert ended at 11pm we were still stationary in the carpark along with thousands of others at least 2 hours later! Finally after two hours at a standstill we were directed in opposite direction out of carpark, along unknown roads with no signage so spent quite some time driving around to find a way home through a maze of roads, many shut, we eventually found our way onto a stationary A149 where we sat for goodness knows how long. It was total diabolical mismanaged nightmare and the Sandringham Estate really need to look again at the suitability of holding concerts where access roads are narrow and difficult, or at least have the carpark marshalled and managed properly to ease the gridlock. I know at concerts you should expect some delays but surely if they had stewards managing the cars instead of just leaving us to it, it would have made it less of a nightmare. Added to the dissatisfaction is that because I agreed with someone’s similar negative views on Facebook I’ve been blocked from seeing Heritage Lives posts!
