I am from the U.K. but a resident of Canada but am back in the U.K. at the moment because of COVID. I live in Ontario and I have heard of He son before now and wanted to try a more traditional method of shaving and wanted something built and designed in Canada 🇨🇦 and you have rave reviews and you seem genuine and very supportive. This was my first DE safety razor purchase and trial. I looked at a few different styles and decided to try this one out. It is certainly a different feel coming from the cartridge razors. I had to go over the same areas a few times, even with re-lathering, which caused some irritation. Overall the shave is pretty close and you can barely feel the blades cutting the hairs. I don't find that it provides as close of a shave as the cartridge shavers on the first or 2nd pass, although I understand why. The built in shave angle makes you feel a little uncertain that you're doing it right and getting as close as you can. You do get used to it once you figure out how to contour it to your face. I debated about returning this and going back to the cartridge style. But, after watching a few videos regarding proper prep and techniques for wet shaving with a razor like this, I found my results to be improved. I will continue to use this razor for my face but will not use it on my head again. I will use the cartridge razors for my head shaves. All in all, a solidly built, and very light DE razor. With the 100 day return policy, it's worth the try for those considering it. I will be sticking to this product!!

There were so many draws to this company in my books even before ordering a razor. First of all, they are a Canadian made and operated business with incredible reviews. Now that I've had a chance to use one myself, I can see why.

1. Effectiveness: this razor is comparable and exceeds any other expensive disposable razor on the market. Once I got accustomed to the angle I have to hold it at, the shave was clean and smooth without having to re-address areas multiple times. Looking back I probably could have gotten the razor with more aggression, but in a review video they recommened turning the shaft about half a turn to expose the blade a wee bit more and that actually did make a difference in the effectiveness of my shave. Finally, the system they have created that avoids hair clogs, really does work, I don't have to rinse it as often and when I do, it is very easy to clean out.

2. Cost: I am going to be able to get so many shaves out of the 100 pack of blades I purchased with my razor. Initially obviously it is more expensive but especially with summer coming up, I am going to be saving a lot of money very quickly.

3. Convenience: Because it is from Canada, and I live in Canada, once I ordered it, the shaver arrived at my door very promptly. Secondly, I now don't have to go out of my way to the shaving isle and buy yet another expensive razor. Lastly, the 100 pack of blades barely takes up any space in my vanity.

4. Time: Although currently, with each individual shave I don't find that it takes any less time than with a conventional razor, overall with the time it takes to purchase a razor, throw out old razors, clean out the hair from razors etc. it probably could be considered a time saver as well. Plus, the more I use it the faster the shave will go as it becomes second nature.

Needless to say, I dramatically threw out my old razor and am excited to potentially use this the rest of my life.

Extremely fast shipping. Product exactly as shown and advertised. Feels great to hold and super easy to use, and I'm saying that as someone that hasn't used a single blade razor since I last used a crappy plastic disposable one in boot camp. The blades seem good quality, too. I kinda wish it had a little bit more heft/weight in the handle, but that's probably just me. Definitely a good purchase.

Perhaps it’s the full contact of the holder and the blade, but I get a far better shave with this razor than I have with a wide variety of good razor over the past 15 years. It’s a keeper!

A week in and this shaver has exceeded my expectations. First couple of days it was a slower shave as I figured it out, but now I'm up to speed and it is undeniably the closest shave I've had and surprisingly not irritating.
I'm switching from a 4 blade disposable that was pretty good, this is better.
I have pretty sensitive skin and I've had zero issues with this.
I shave in the shower and the only downside is the handle can get a bit slippery with the heavy shave cream i use, so that's just a matter of rinsing the blade often.

Excellent service I found the medium razor to be too aggressive for me, the company accommodated me with a mild head and it is extremely a pleasure to shave with.
