To anyone who wants to use this site...

This site is awful - it's poorly set out and any formatting errors = wrong answer also the task isn't ticked off until you get 100% - the questions are too hard as well

Furthermore, it is used by LAZY teachers that can't be bothered to set their own questions and mark them - this is unhelpful for people that have learning difficulties and math anxiety. only the teacher knows what questions are the best for their students, not a stupid site!

to also add is how useless the "get-help" function is - IT DOES A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT QUESTION!!!! - how useless is that 🙄 - stupid

also, Hegarty's voice is soooooo annoying - I'd rather listen to someone grinding their teeth!

I find it so invasive when you log in because you have to put your birthday into the login - what about if I didn't want people to know when my birthday is? - Hegarty cant teach for his life!

I have had many tantrums/panic attacks over this and in one case, I destroyed my study

What's more frustrating is that the smallest typo (eg the bracket is the wrong way round, it is marked wrong)

to anyone who may have noticed there being a suspiciously long pause when Hegarty works out a question - SURPRISE!!! - he uses a calculator and it says on the right-hand side of the screen "DO NOT USE A CALCULATOR" - take a look at the video "what is a surd" - he uses a calculator and the questions he gives are NO CALCULATOR

p.s - don't watch the videos they are far too long and very unhelpful + difficult to follow 😴

this site is absolute bull since Hegarty can't even teach properly. On one question, I didn't understand so I clicked the video and he was doing a completely different question to me so it in no way helped me what the hell???

judging from their correct grammar and spelling they are teachers who have not actually experienced the hell this website brings and are bias

If you are revising for you GCSE's or attend secondary education, I recommend using Hegarty Maths. First of all, the videos give a clear explanation on haw to do a question. If you are still stuck on a question you can also always go to the 'building blocks' where it has tasks which will help you be able to answer that one question. It also contains everything you need to learn for you GCSE exams and is easily accessible. My only complaint is that the 'MemRi' feature is broken. It always gives the same sort of questions and answers so after memorizing the answers you don't get any practice working out an answer. I don't know if this is just my Hegarty or if it's just a bug, but I always get this same trigonometry question and Pythagoras question (and a lot more lol) and it kind of annoys me.

He actually teaches, you ppl are ungrateful and it’s maths, we get it, but no need to damage his business

Every time I do HegartyMaths. I just copy the steps in video, then when I don't have video I just don't know. Sometimes the video is useless and I have to cheat. This hegartymaths should get banned.

do quiz and watch the video and yet 3 days later its gone out of my head could be more intresting

hasn't helped me at all I look at the videos then I do the quiz and the questions are completely different to the video. He doesn't explain it well so I cant keep up. So I would not recommend it.

The site is fantastic, Maths skills are broken down from simple to more difficult to enable anyone using it to get more confident and adopt the knowledge. There are thorough worked examples on a video and set of related exercises, for kids to work out themselves and use the demonstrated method / skill. The kids get instant feedback on how they got on. It is probably more geared up for secondary school kids and older - as there are no kiddie rewards - just excellent guidance and exercise combo. My kids use the site through their school and I love it. If they do not remember something from the class, they can look it up. It really helps me and kids see their progress. I just hope that the same thing is available for other subjects such as physics and languages where knowledge and skills add up.

I am an IT Technician at the school where I am currently employed and I have been informed by several students that the Hegarty Maths website contains ransomware. I was, of course, sceptical at first, but when I looked into it there were countless students from other schools saying the same thing! I decided to do extensive testing on the site, and after going undercover on the site, I am able to confirm the suspicions! The reason that your school computers are most likely utter garbage is because of the ransomware located on this website! I'm not sure if it's a specific task on the site, but Hegarty Maths need to look into this issue right away to protect it's students! Many thanks.

I don't mind hegarty maths. Although I may struggle it insnt horrible. But sometimes I do wish they sorta made it easier. But other than that i still try. I also wish that until 50 percent it will be okay. cause i have a hard time so yeah.
