Our second stay at White Cottage. Lovely house with all the mod cons and a great garden, Kim and the team are fantastic and always on hand if you need anything.
A great location, Saundersfoot and Wisemans Bridge only a short walk.

Highly recommend Clicketts Heath. We are a family of 4 and found the cottage very spacious, clean and comfortable. All the furnishings and equipment are of high quality and seemed new. The garden is ideal for sitting out and enjoying the wonderful views as well as being large enough for family outdoor games. Although located on a peaceful lane in the village of New Hedges, the cottage is well-connected to the local area with a shop and post office in the village and a very good farm shop a 2-minute drive away. We enjoyed days out to St David's, Pembroke Castle and the Stackpole Estate (National Trust-owned beaches) which were all within easy driving distance. Bustling Tenby (only a short drive) was our favourite town for lovely walks, beautiful town beaches, good restaurants and interesting shops. We had an excellent first holiday in Wales and Clicketts Heath was a huge positive. Well done to the Hean Castle Estate, especially our lovely housekeeper Helen and very many thanks for the outstanding Welcome Hamper.

I never normally give reviews but after staycationing in other holiday homes around the UK I feel compelled to give Hean Castle Estate, it’s staff and the accommodation, Clicketts Heath the credit it deserves for offering outstanding service
You arrive to a gorgeous welcome hamper of an array of goodies that set you up for that evening/morning if you haven’t had a chance to shop something that has been lacking in other properties we have visited, fresh bread, milk, butter, cereal, drinks, fresh fruit etc and even the pets are looked after with bowls, towels and treats
The accommodation is cleaned to a great standard and a complete home from home with everything you could require and furnished and decorated throughout to give a modern yet homely feel
The location is unreal with secure large gardens for pets and children and a short walk through a working farm to the coastal paths and beach to take you to Saundersfoot or Tenby
Someone from the estate came and greeted us and made sure we were ok and gave us information about the local area etc
All in all cannot fault at all and will return

We spent a wonderful week in this cottage and would highly recommend it. The location was peaceful with wonderful views. The house was immaculate and beautifully furnished with everything we needed. The welcome hamper was thoughtful with many delicious treats as well as all the essentials. We had an issue with the shower one day and someone came out to see us within half an hour. The issue was resolved the next day and we had courtesy calls a few times to check it was OK. We have never received such a good service.
The nearby beach, Monkstone, is a hidden gem and we spent a few days down there, swimming and relaxing. It was never busy with golden sand and a clear sea, ideal for swimming. The local areas around Tenby and Saundersfoot were easy and quick to get to from the house. Manorbier, Barafundle and St Davids are all well worth a visit.
We didn't want to leave.

We stayed at White cottage 24th-31st July 2021. We are a family of four with two children aged 10 and 5. We really had a fantastic stay at white cottage. The accommodation is of a very high standard especially the kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The welcome hamper was a really thoughtful welcome surprise. The bedrooms both have fantastic views of the sea and the countryside. The gardens are well kept and spacious and we enjoyed relaxing in the garden and using the fire pit in an evening. The cottage was a just set back from the beach and is only a 5 min walk into all the shops and amenities in Saundersfoot. We even had good weather for most of the stay. We will def be back to stay in white cottage.

We loved our stay here. Our first time to Pembrokeshire and the location was lovely. We were lucky with the weather -not a cloud in sight all week-so it was perfect for us to pop over to the beach and kayak and paddle board. Also perfect for dog walks -infact we didn’t use the car until the Wednesday afternoon.
The cottage was well equipped and spotless. The hamper was fabulous -and so thoughtful to include biscuits/towels for the dogs.
We felt so comfortable being there-and loved people watching from the garden.
We have already re booked for next year! Can’t wait to go back!! Thank you all so much x

We recently spent a very enjoyable week at White Cottage. We were impressed from the moment we drove onto the driveway as the gardens and the cottage looked immaculate. The interior didn’t disappoint either, we loved it. The attention to detail, quality, cleanliness and comfort were all second to none. The welcome pack was also much appreciated.

We and our two dogs found the location perfect, with Coppet Hall beach just outside the door & Saundersfoot centre a very easy walk away.

Thank you Kim and the whole team for making our stay so special. We will definitely be returning.

Clicketts Heath is an extremely well furnished and maintained cottage with a beautiful large grass garden. It was perfect for my family and dog. The property is a short drive from Saundersfoot and Tenby and is also a good base to explore the wider Pembrokeshire area.

The property management team were very helpful and friendly.

Exceptionally welcoming staff at an exceptional property, which has clearly been refurbished to an extremely high standard. The property was pristinely clean and very comfortable. A really good base for accessing the Pembrokeshire coastline and the lovely Caldey Island. We are already considering another visit as soon as we can.

The perfect place to stay, on arrival there was a hamper of goodies including fresh bread, eggs, cheese, butter and milk. The cottage is beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for the perfect stay. Helen the housekeeper popped into see us and checked we had everything we needed. Immaculate garden to relax in after a day on the beach.
Will definitely be booking again for our next trip to Saundersfoot.

Excellent accommodation, superb attention to detail and customer service second to none. A beautiful location close to the beach and a welcome pack was there on our arrival.

This was our second holiday at White Cottage our first was May 2019. Everything inside the cottage was just as new as it was two years ago with the same wonderful welcome. The cottage is so tastefully designed stylishly furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need. There were fresh flowers, fruit a plenty and an excellent welcome box of Welsh goods fresh bread eggs and milk butter and cheese in the fridge along with a bottle of wine. The location is perfect just a few metres from the beach and short walk to Saundersfoot. There are so many stunning walks and beautiful beaches. Kim and the leasure team have been extremely helpful and we thank them sincerely for another fabulous stay. We will definitely be taking a third stay next year and would strongly recommend White Cottage to anyone looking for a luxury and perfect holiday.

This is the second time we have stayed at Clicketts Heath and on both occasions we have had a fantastic break in a stunning property. It has been designed beautifully and everything you could possibly need or want has been thought about and provided. Communication with the office is easy and any help that is needed is provided straight away. If you are looking for the perfect break in Pembrokeshire then Look no further - oh and did I mention the stunning views out to the hills and coast. Well you will just have to go to check them out for yourself! Thanks to Kim and her staff for providing the perfect service all round.

I almost didn’t want to leave a review!! This is the best holiday cottage I’ve ever stayed in, the attention to detail was faultless, the team from Hean Castle provided exemplary customer service. The Welcome Hamper was outstanding. Just loved this gorgeous cottage so much that I’ve already booked for next year, cannot wait to return.

White Cottage is such a stunning little gem set in beautiful grounds next to a breathtaking beach. We thoroughly had a wonderful time at the cottage. A big thank you to Helen, Kim and all the team for making our stay such a happy holiday. Can’t wait to go back this October.

We stayed at Coppet Hall Lodge which had been recently refurbished to an excellent standard. Well kitted with all utensils and dining ware you could want and nice extras such as a Nespresso machine and very good WiFi. Located just a short walk from the beach. The perfect break after months in lockdown!

We had such a fabulous holiday I feel the need to write my first ever online review....say no more!
The communication, understanding and flexibility shown by the management team at Hean Castle was nothing more than outstanding in the lead up to our stay. We amended our booking 3 times before the Covid guidelines finally allowed us to visit.
The property itself was more than what we could have hoped after passing the house on countless visits to the area and hoping to stay. Many little touches went over and above our expectations from a full log store, to the fire pit being pre loaded, the supply of Nespresso pods for the machine, the fully equipped kitchen, the fresh bread and basket on arrival...the list just goes on.
The neighbours were fantastic and gave us a real feel of being part of their community. We found ourselves sitting out at the front of the house catching the unusually sunny afternoon weather for March and passers by would stop to chat and in general made us feel so welcome. They offered advice on everything from local walks, star gazing, the 2 types of wild garlic growing a stones throw away, good local fresh bread.....
The team at Hean Castle were always on hand and would also often stop by when passing to make sure all was ok. This included a visit from the housekeeper on our arrival to ensure we were comfortable and advise on the Covid precautions she had taken whilst preparing the house for our stay. I would say the management team are genuine in their pursuit of excellence and we are about to make another booking for 2022.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at White Cottage. It is in a wonderful location and the cottage itself is great. There is everything you could possibly need in the cottage as the kitchen is well equipped and is spotlessly clean, as is the rest of the cottage. The lounge and bedrooms were extremely comfortable and the wood burning stove was great in the cooler evenings.
There were a number of nice touches such as the welcome pack, fresh flowers, and fresh fruit which were well received, as was the visit from the housekeeper.
The gardens are spacious and we'll maintained.

A delightfully modernised 2 bedroom cottage right by Coppet Hall beach, Saundersfoot. 5 minutes walk from Saundersfoot centre and 10 or 15 minutes walk from Wiseman’s Bridge.

The cottage has everything that you could want with a well equipped kitchen (you probably could cook a full roast dinner there!), comfy beds (a king size and 2 singles) and a beautiful garden and all so clean and well kept.

There is a fire pit in the garden if you fancy a barbecue and garden furniture to sit and enjoy your evening. The garden is beautiful and there was even a badminton set there.

Lovely clean bathroom but a word of warning, there are 2 steps down into the bathroom so be careful when heading that way in the small wee hours!

A welcome pack was included which included tea, coffee (Nespresso), milk, butter, jam, cake, fruit and WINE! There was dish washer tablets, washing up liquid and washing powder They had even thought to put towels in the cupboard for our dogs (as well as the lovely ones for us).

If you get fed up with Saundersfoot, Tenby is only 5 minutes away and it is not far to the national Trust Stackpole area with more beautiful unspoilt beaches there.

We had a wonderful week and will certainly return.

Luxury accommodation , everything you need for a relaxing , self catering break . Good outdoor living area overlooking large garden and beautiful views . Great location between Tenby and Saundersfoot . Would definitely stay here again
