Fast and reliable

I am sharing this so people understand exactly what HB Money Transfer really does behind the scenes. My experience was stressful, misleading, and completely unacceptable.

A transfer I made on 17 March 2026 turned into a one‑month nightmare. On 17 March, I sent £67.29 to my niece in Ghana. The app showed the transaction as “Pending”, and that status stayed there for weeks.

During this time, I contacted HB repeatedly. Their replies were always the same:

- “Transaction PIN please” (even after I had already given it)
- “Your transaction will be paid soon”
- “Don’t worry”
- “Checking with payout partner”
- “We will update you shortly”

Not once did they give a real update or explanation.
Just copy‑and‑paste messages while the money was still not delivered.

The money was finally paid on 16 April — one month later
My niece finally received the 1000 GHS on 16 April.
This proves the transfer was not instant, and it was not paid on 17 March.

The most shocking part: HB manipulated the transaction record
Before the money was paid, the app clearly showed:

- “Pending”
- The original date: 17 March 2026

After the money was finally paid on 16 April, HB did something extremely deceptive:

- They removed the date completely
- They replaced the Pending screen with a “Paid Successfully” screen
- They made it look like the money was paid instantly
- They hid the one‑month delay
- They ensured that if I screenshot it, it appears as if they paid on the same day

This is not a mistake — it is manipulation of transaction history.

No legitimate financial service should ever alter records like this.

My brother went through the same thing
When I called my brother to warn him, he told me he had gone through the exact same experience:

- Delayed payout
- Repeated excuses
- No real updates
- Only paid after constant chasing

He forgot to tell me until I asked — which shows this is not an isolated case.

This company caused unnecessary stress
This transfer was needed urgently for a school payment.
Instead of helping, HB gave me:

- stress
- confusion
- misleading information
- and a manipulated transaction record

Final warning
HB Money Transfer is not transparent, not reliable, and not honest.
If you value accurate records and timely payments, avoid this company.
They mislead customers by altering transaction screens to hide delays.

They are very dodgy and so dishonest as a business. Everything they say about their services is a FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION. I downloaded the app and provided the necessary documents,. everything seemed OK. I made my first transaction this morning. The first red flag, they asked for my life picture. I sent a new picture, then all of a sudden they placed my transaction on hold for compliance reasons. Out of frustration, I asked for cancellation so I could use REMIT UNION. They told me that is subject to charges. When challenged which clause in the contract talks about cancellation charges, no answer was given but they promised to pay the beneficiary soon. They haven't still paid the beneficiary YET!
HONESTLY, I will NOT RECOMMEND this FRAUDULENT business to any African sending their hard-earned money home to their FOLKS in NEED of REMITTANCE.
I am going to report them to every single UK financial Service Regulator,starting with the Financial Services Ombudsman.

I had a great service with good customer support.

Here we are with a very serious and trustworthy Money Transfer Bank with the best exchange RATE l’ve ever come across.

I was first doing my transfer with a company called (Remit Choice) unfortunately l came to find out that they were thieves.

I had to contact Interpol and the European consumers service before they were able to release my money. That my friend Mr. Coffy is still locked in their coffers.

Thank God l found a very serious and reliable Bank (HB Money Tranfer ) now .

Review this app is amazing to send money faster

It easy to send and get quick response but sometimes you need to call the office to prompt them before the money would be sent. I have just notice app error which is affecting me to send money.

The company is doing a great service, they are good in customer care and their rate is also excellent. Keep it up

I want o warn everyone about my terrible experience with this company. I sent money very early this morning, before 8am, and as of 6pm the money has still not been delivered. I contacted them several times throughout the day and all they kept giving were excuses. The money is no longer needed, so I asked them to cancel the transfer and refund it back to my account. They told me that cancelling it would take 7–14 days and that I would still be charged fees. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened to me with them. I had almost forgotten about my previous bad experience because I thought I had deleted the app. I also know other people who have had similar issues with this company. I have a lot of evidence of the conversations and transactions. I am sharing this so that others can be careful and avoid going through the same frustrating experience. Please be cautious when dealing with this company. No one should have to go through this.

Is fast and reliable

Best transfer ever with competitive good rates even when the rates are bad.i got issues resolved within few hours so I will suggest this is the best out there compared to the rest.

I have used HB Money Transfer for some time now, and my experience has been mixed. For smaller transactions, the service is generally fast and reliable. However, I have consistently experienced issues when sending larger amounts.
Most recently, I sent approximately £700 to a regular recipient using the same account details I have used previously. Although the transaction was marked as “successful,” the recipient did not receive the funds. I contacted customer support in the morning and continued following up until the evening, but the issue remained unresolved.
I found the communication from customer service to be unhelpful and repetitive, without providing clear answers or solutions to the problem. This was quite frustrating, especially given the urgency of the situation.
I would appreciate a prompt resolution and clearer communication, as situations like this are very concerning when dealing with larger sums of money.
