I had never come across Hastingsville until very recently when looking for quality glass storage jars. I decided on Weck jars and needed to do a custom order. They were happy to meet my needs and today I received my jars and lids. They were packed beautifully and all arrived safe and sound. I will absolutely repurchase from Hastingsville in the future.

I like that I can buy an individual jar instead of a set. I don’t need that many, plus they sell them at a reasonable price. The jar came in good condition, nothing broken. It had the clamps and rubber seal packed neatly inside of the jar. Having to wait roughly two weeks for the small jar to be delivered without tracking or an estimated delivery date was different, especially with Amazon out there. They explained small orders were sent with a regular mailing service which doesn’t have tracking. I know for next time roughly how long delivery will take. I’ll most likely use this site again if I need any Weck jars or accessories for them in the future.

The Weck jars look sturdy, pretty, and very multi usable. For canning , I appreciate that I can reuse the glass lids saving a lot of money down the road.They are pricy, but the qualities worth it to have a product to pass down. I am making a special place for them!

I went to the Hastingville website for Weck jars and was wowed to see the other great looking brands of glassware. I ordered my 2 Weck Tulip jars* and was very pleased with the quick delivery from Canada. I'll be back to purchase gifts.

*Having tried 4 types of jars/containers to store and mix sourdough starter, I find the Weck Tulip jars to be the most convenient by far. The 1/2 & 1 liter sizes are good. The shape of the jars allow for quick & neat mixing; no 90 degree angle at the bottom for flour to get stuck and the inward curve in the side keeps the mixture from splashing out from quick, vigorous mixing. Also the lid arrangement is ideal; for countertop fermenting, the top without the clamps allows for lidding without being airtight. Then I store the starter in the fridge from week to week, with the clamps to prevent spilling when I'm pulling other stuff off the rack.

Excellent jars, packed very well without one issue upon arrival. Perfect.

I submitted an order online but quickly realized I missed a few items and emailed customer service to request a change. They quickly made the change and everything arrived safely packaged and only in a few days!

Products order arrived quickly and the weck jars were packed to the jars would not break.
