If I could give them a negative review number I would. The worst quality of any product I’ve ever ordered. I’m still trying to get them to let me return the items & it’s just a back & forth of emails with no resolution. DO NOT buy from this company! I would have to pay for shipping to CHINA!! When ordering the website said returns were easy. I wish I had researched the company before I ordered.

WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM Harper&Lane. I wish I had read reviews BEFORE purchase. Cheaply made, lousy customer service. Returns are a joke, have to pay for returns on inferior merchandise. Spent $300 on $15 worth of material. DO NOT - repeat, do not buy from this China company.
EDIT (11-11-25): After multiple (6-8) communications with Harper&Lane requesting a refund for three items, and refusing their unacceptable offers, and they do NOT pay for return shipping,; we FINALLY agreed on a 75% refund and keep the merchandise. Waiting to see if I really get a credit on my card?

The blazer arrived, and it was of poor quality and fit and cheap material. I am trying to return it, but they make it very difficult to do so and have TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HORRIBLE QUALITY GOODS.

My shoes were deformed, and customer service is so slow..
My shoes came in a small bag ,not a box. The tip of the shoes were deformed. I asked replacement, and the customer service promised me they will send me a pair of other style. We had a lot of email exchanges to confirm the style, the color and the size. It is been 3 months. Today I received a email asking me to confirm the color, which I confirmed at least twice. I feel so disappointed and frustrated. The shoes I bought was $55, not cheap. Please don't buy anything from this website.

Ordered a coat was around $80 said it would ship out next day….come to find out it was coming from China , the winter coat is paper thin and if I saw this in a store I wouldn’t even of paid $10 for it !!! Save your self from ordering anything from them as their descriptions are out right lies , what I received is junk !!!

Insane refund policies! Avoid at all costs!
Received the blouse I ordered and neckline was sewn inside out! Unacceptable. Company wanted to send me a replacement if I paid shipping or if I wanted to send it back it would be $30! Are you kidding me? I told them I wanted a full refund but that was not even an option for this scam company. Thank goodness I paid with PayPal so I filed a dispute. I sent PayPal screen shots of my emails with H & L. Within two minutes I had a full refund in my PayPal account. Lesson learned. If I can’t use PayPal I won’t be purchasing online!

Terrible, confusing customer service, still no refund for incorrect shirt.
I ordered two shirts in L using their size chart. The shirts arrived but were much too small. I wrote back saying I wanted replacement shirts and a way to return the first shirts at Harper and Lane's expense. First they offered credit toward different shirts and said I could sell the wron shirts, which was weird. Then, after several more emails, agreed to send me the correct shirts. Those shirts arrived, one was the correct size and the second was the same 'too small' size as before. We started emailing me again. Said I had to return the wrong shirt to Asia for a refund since it was no longer in stock. As in the entire series of transactions, it was their error, and I refused. They sent another email giving me a US address to lessen the expense of the return. Again, not my fault and they should have paid for the return and refunded my money for the shirt in the right size they no longer had.

Stay Away From This Company
I never received my order and they refused to refund me. They keep saying it’s still in transit. Do not trust this company; they are scammers. If there were a zero rating, I would give them zero.
Response to message below: Well, I have contacted you for the past few weeks and you denied my request for refund. Same as what you wrote below “I am sorry”. You have a useless customer service.

Buyer Beware- Returns are impossible!
I bought a pair of orthopedic shoes that didnt fit me nor alleviate any pain/discomfort. I was within the return window and asked how to return. Not only did I have to send pictures, multiple emails, and KEEP turning down alternative return options (how about 30% money back and you can keep the shoes!) UGH! I had to keep repeating to them that I had no use for shoes I can't wear, and wanted a FULL refund. Then, when I finally tried to return them at USPS, I was told it was going to cost me over $100 cause apparently they only ship returns to China! Why don't they return to their warehouse here? I assume they have one in the U.S. cause it was quick shipping. Regardless, they don't tell you about this long, bizarre, and basically impossible return process in their policy section of course. I will never buy from them again now that I know. They were, however, very nice and quick to respond in their emails so I gave them 2 stars for nice customer service. But sometimes pleasantries will only get you so far. Now I'm stuck with shoes I will never wear, and lost money. But at least I gained a valuable lesson. 🤷🏼♀️

BUYER BEWARE!!!
Ordered the Erin jacket - arrived and was too small. I checked the measurements and they were off. Material was like cotton covered plastic and not a coat at all. Its appearance was nothing like the website. BUYER BEWARE! Do not order from this company - I opened a dispute with my credit card company immediately as Harper and Lane is not responsive and they want you to pay return shipping for their inadequate and wrongly sized product.

Poor quality and fit
I ordered two blouses which according to the size chart should have fit my usual L purchases. The delivery time was very lengthy ( 1 month) and the fits very disappointing. One blouse was too tight to even button up, including very tight on the arms and the other one barely fit. The quality is poor with the inside revealing a stark white material which is not pretty when the collar relaxes. The return/exchange process would have required me to pay $12.95 (possibly per blouse) and without guaranty of timeliness or proper fit. I choose the other option which was to keep the blouses for a 20% refund from the seller. I will donate them. I will not be purchasing any more products from this company as the experience was disappointing and and frustrating overall. I believe that their marketing is misleading for the American population size in general. Delivery times are very long which I had not been told and return extremely inconvenient.

QUALITY IS TERRIBLE
QUALITY IS TERRIBLE! Items depcited are very deceiving and frankly untruthful. A blouse that was aedvertised as cotton is some awful polyester. I am seing it right back.

I ordered sandals that looked so cute online. They were incredibly flimsy and cheaply made, not to mention didn't fit. I emailed twice, asking how a return could be done, and they never responded. Finally had to get my credit card company to fight the charge, at which point Harper and Lane emailed me claiming they have no idea why I'm unhappy since "they've never heard from me". DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Wish I had read online reviews of the company first.
Total scamming thieves
I purchased something that was described and pictured as a beautiful knit sweater. After waiting weeks to receive it, I receive a cheap nylon like sweatshirt that had picture of a sweater printed on it. The price was $70.00. After following instructions from their website to return it, they keep not giving me the address to send it back to. They reply each time with long nonsense responses but won't give me the info to return it and won't give me a refund! Total scam ming thieves!!

I was very disappointed with the quality of the clothing when I received it not to mention the customer service kept on stringing me a long with lies saying the order is coming soon. It took about 3 weeks to arrive. When I received the clothing it looked nothing like the quality shown in the photos. The sizes were weird like shorter sleeves and each one fit differently, fabric was thin and stitching was poor. The was definitely cheaply sewn together and the fabric had a strong chemical smell. There were no labels stitched on the garments, which by law they must show where the product is made in and have care instructions and fiber content, which there were none to be found. They tried to offer me discounts and started with extra 20% off and keep the clothing and I refused, then offered 50% off and I still didn't want it. I reported them to my credit card company. I mentioned that I should not have to pay for shipping costs of over $30 + to ship back clothing that is of poor quality and deceiving. Harper and Lane sent me a new US address to ship merchandise back and mentioned they will provide a full refund. I still have this order on dispute until I see a full refund posted on my account. Buyer BEWARE!!!!
The WORST
The WORST. Their idea of easy returns is a costly -at your expense - postal return to China. Better to just donate your substandard purchase to Goodwill. Poor products, dreadful customer service. Do not purchase from this vendor.

This was the weirdest experience with a company, bar none. The items took a few weeks to arrive and when it did, it was not satisfactory. The material was cheap, it was too small (I always wear a large, and IO couldn't close the front in the bust), so I decided to return it. The customer service was like trading in flea market - 20% return, 50% return, and they asked me to send a picture of what was wrong... Not what I'm used to with other online vendors. I finally wrote them that they were losing a customer and I expected a 100% refund. I have yet to receive any communication about the return, so we'll see. What a runaround...
