ORDER FROM ANOTHER COMPANY
I ordered two pergolas and paid for them March 19 2026. I was patient until June but then asked for an expected delivery date. I was told it would be the end of the month. Here we are in September with no pergolas. The only responses I get are in answer to my emails, but all they do is continue to string me along. DO NOT PURCHASE from Hanso. I'm questioning whether anyone has ever received a product or if my money is gone. There is absolutely no honesty from them.

We take full responsibility for the delays and the lack of clear communication on our end. You deserved better, and we're sorry we didn't deliver on the timeline we promised.
As a goodwill gesture, we have already granted a refund for your shipment. It's the least we can do - we should not be charging you for a shipment we failed to deliver on time. That's on us.

Love our Pergola
We ordered a 13/ by 13' pergola with the manual screen option. We absolutely love it. It is so sturdy and attractive. We had our son and son-in-law help us put it together and had no problems. Hanso is so responsive to any questions or concerns you have. We would just send an email and we always received a response the next day. I highly recommend Hanso!

Excellent Service in Ordering
I haven’t received my pergola yet, as my installation is still a few months out, but I wanted to leave a review specifically for Raymond Salvio and the experience I’ve had so far.
Raymond has been incredibly helpful throughout the purchasing process. He worked with me on pricing, patiently answered all of my questions, and made the entire process easy and comfortable without making me feel pressured. I really appreciated how responsive and helpful he was while I worked through the different options and made my decision.
Everything I’ve researched and read about Hansø and their pergolas looks great, and I’m very excited to receive mine! Based on my experience with Raymond so far, I’ve been extremely impressed with the customer service and would absolutely give him five stars.

Serious comparisons lead us to Hanso solution
My wife and I have been seriously pursuing a solution of value for our back yard. And the value we were looking for encompassed all that Hanso offered. The direct to an agent call, a friendly sales person, a great quoting process, and then there is the quality reviews we wrestle able to find that helped us resolve on Hanso as our choice. We are excited to add this feature to our home and believe it will further increase our love for the backyard and our use of it.

I paid Hanso $12,513.49 upfront in March 2026 for a pergola that was never delivered. After nearly six months of delays, I finally asked for my money back.
The communication was terrible. I received no meaningful updates unless I contacted them first, and every time I did, I was given another explanation about supply chain issues, distributors, or delays. Eventually I was told I may need to wait another two months, with no guarantee of delivery.
What makes this even more concerning is that after reading the BBB complaints, I found many customers describing experiences very similar to mine: large upfront payments, repeated delays, poor communication, and customers having to chase the company for answers.
I cannot speak to what is happening internally at Hanso, but based on my experience and the pattern I saw in other complaints, I would not recommend them.

Quality product and Excellent Service
We ordered a pergola from Hanso. We are impressed with the quality. Following the directions, we were able to install the pergola ourselves. We recently were having custom curtains made for the pergola; the supplier of the curtain was unable to get a hold of us. They reached out to Hanso and Hanso provided the measurements that they needed. Thank you Hanso for providing a quality product to us and information to our curtain supplier.

Stay away!
After waiting more than three months for delivery, I am extremely disappointed with my Hanso Pergola.
I had the pergola professionally installed by a company recommended by Hanso, so this was not a DIY installation or work performed by an unrelated contractor. Despite that, after only the second significant rain shower, the pergola leaked like a sieve.
I reported the problem to Hanso on July 22, 2026. More than a month later, the issue is still unresolved despite multiple assurances and promises that it would be addressed.
For a premium-priced product, this level of performance and after-sales support is unacceptable. A pergola that cannot keep rain out defeats one of its most basic purposes, and having to repeatedly follow up for weeks without a permanent solution only adds to the frustration.
I will gladly update this review if Hanso resolves the issue properly. Until then, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product or the level of customer support I have received.

I’m a homeowner; not a contractor
I’m a homeowner and not a contractor. I’ve purchased maybe 20-cars in my lifetime and this is my first awning purchase. So of course I ran the Hanso sales rep (James T) through all my information request hurdles. James answered them all. I had been speaking to Jon my salesman at HANSO and he was not pushy. He was very polite and patient as I was asking many questions regarding two different companies. I had offers from another company for $400 off free lights and I decided I would rather pay the companies that doesn’t feel like they need to bribe their customers since the product stands behind itself.
