Had my hair transplant done on 31/03/2023. Upon arrival everyone was professional and gave me an insight into the day ahead. I was receding on my temple area and really wanted to get this rectified for my self confidence. The process was smooth and I didn’t feel a thing.

As the months went by I noticed the new follicles growing and my hairline was slowly coming back so I was happy. But after the 12 month mark, I noticed that the follicles were so thin in my temple area and this left me to have patches on either side.

I was not happy with the outcome so I contacted hair medics to see if there was a way I could get this sorted. It was brought to my attention that I could either have a partial refund or have a top up procedure for free. I follow a hair transplant group on Facebook so I went to seek advice and they told me not to waste the grafts and go to Turkey (which I should’ve done to begin with.)

I decided to inform Hair medics that I wanted a partial refund. After months and months of back and forth with the receptionist/surgeon and sales team, I was told that if I wanted a partial refund then I would have to travel all the way back to St. Albans just to see if I warrant one. I wish I could attach pictures because you can clearly see it’s a failed hair transplant and I warrant one.

I am so disappointed with my experience with hair medics and I wish I stuck with my gut and travelled to Turkey for the procedure. Had a quote from a few places in the UK and they offer so little grafts and leave you with thin and unnatural results. I now need to now save up as I spent my inheritance on this and travel to Turkey for a procedure that will give me the results I want.

Had difficulty getting into Republic of Ireland (customs)
Robbie contacted me via whats app and we decided to ship to Northern Ireland instead.
They included a free scalp Roller which smoothed over the delays which wasn’t their fault but customs, my only recommendation is the order email should include tracking details because hair loss products get flagged as if us baldys don’t have enough problems! Lol

Two of us had our transplant on the same day (3rd feb 24) with Dr Basher.
From the initial consultation with Rob to attending on the day- it was smooth.
Dr Basher was ever so accommodating and carried out the hair transplant flawlessly.
His genuine sincerity and attention to detail was out of this world.
Constantly checking in and assisting in both transplants with the technicians.
What we also liked about this place is the location. A 50 minute drive from where we live in Kent and plenty of free parking directly outside in a sleepy, tranquil village setting.
This certainly beats a beat on hour and half travel to Harley Street.
The team couldn’t do enough and Dr Basher was absolutely spot on throughout the day.

I ordered some minoxidil and 11 days later it hadn't arrived. I called Hair Medics and they straight away sent another bottle and a free hair roller. Very pleased with the service.

Had a hair transplant at Hairmedics UK in their London Colney clinic yesterday. As many other reviews have said, the whole process is superb and I would highly recommend them. Great care pre op, Whats App comms with the doctor so I could ask anything I needed to pre or post initial consultation. Very honest, supportive and open responses to my questions throughout. The day was very smooth and very professional with my care as a patient always at the heart of every decision. Dr Fahad and Dr Bashir and their fantastic team were brilliant at every stage. I’ve realised just what hard work performing a hair transplant is for the medical team and the team at Hairmedics never stopped working to make things as quick, easy and painless as they possibly could for me I don’t know why I waited so long to get it done and can’t wait to see the results. The operation was a long day with some mild discomfort at times but no pain and my well being was always front of mind with the team.
