I strongly advise against purchasing from Hair Medics UK. After three separate orders over the past few months, my experience has been consistently terrible. Save your money and avoid the hassle—go elsewhere.

Order 1: I purchased Minoxidil and Caffeine Shampoo. After seven days, I received no confirmation or tracking details—only a "processing" status. My email inquiries went unanswered. After calling three days later, I was told my order would ship that day. Another week passed with no updates, so I called again—only to be told the product was out of stock. As a "goodwill gesture," they offered a replacement shampoo, which never arrived. Three weeks later, I had nothing.

Order 2: A few months later, I placed another order, which included:

5% Minoxidil No PG + Azelaic Acid + Caffeine + Retinol (1 Bottle)
15% Minoxidil No PG + Azelaic Acid + Caffeine + Retinol (1 Bottle)
Serenoa Repens (DHT Blocker) (1 Bottle - 60 Capsules)
Delivery was fast—just two days—but the vitamin capsules, advertised as a two-month supply, expired in two weeks. When I called, I was told, "Vitamins are like chocolates, you can eat them after they’ve expired." Completely unacceptable—I didn’t pay for expired products.

Order 3 (Final Order):
I ordered:

15% Minoxidil No PG + Azelaic Acid + Caffeine + Retinol (1 Bottle)
5% Minoxidil No PG + Azelaic Acid + Caffeine + Retinol (1 Bottle)
Again, no confirmation or tracking details for seven days. My email went unanswered. After calling three days later (10 days post-purchase), I was assured my order would ship that day. Five days later, my package arrived—but with the wrong product. Instead of the No PG version I specifically ordered (due to scalp sensitivity), they sent me one containing PG without any prior notice. The result? Severe irritation, peeling skin, red marks, and breakouts.

I’ve now stopped using all Hair Medics UK products and will never order from them again.

Do yourself a favor—avoid this company. Their communication is nonexistent, their service is unreliable, and their products (if you even receive them) may be expired or incorrect.

order contained two products. one (Stymula Lash - 2 months supply ) worth £39.99 arrived. the other (TRX2 Hair Loss Capsules - 3 month supply) worth £169.96 was not received. no answer to phone or email. LOOKS LIKE A SCAM

I am updating this review from 1 to 3 star. After posting my original review online I got a call from a representative at Hair Medics and he was very helpful. He explained that the product had been sent to the wrong address and that was the reason for the delay. I received the product the next day and it appears to be well made high quality product and compared to other products with similar ingredients it is very good value for money.

I placed my order on December 10th and I still have yet to receive anything. I emailed them on December 28th they responded on January 2nd and they told me that they were away for the Christmas season and my order would be sent out on the next delivery day. 7 days later still nothing and I sent them another email asking for an update and no response. Yesterday another email, still no response and an hour ago another email still no response. Very poor service. I just want what I paid for.

Been more than two weeks . Paid 100 euro sth , didn’t receive the product , also no response from customer service . Looks like a scam .

The 15% minoxidil with 0.1 finasteride is an amazing product and very reliable.
This has increased hair growth and strength from roots using the recommended regular dosage.

Just had a fue transplant with dr bashar and his team on the temples area and honestly they were brilliant and professional, as I was so nervous he kept reassuring me throughout the surgery and he managed to do exactly as I wanted for the density I wanted. Can’t wait to see the final results.

I've been using their products now for over 2 years, and I must say they really do work/.

I have just had a follow-up WhatsApp with Robert 6 months after my hair transplant. These guys are really on the ball and genuinely want the best for you as the customer .I had a hair transplant done by Dr Bashar in march 2024 .it's not 6 months in and iv got hair!!!! I followed the the guidelines and trusted the process and I am over the moon with the result. I am now 50 and hair a better hair line than I did at 18! Crazy! There is a bit of swelling and a few funny looks ! But 100% worth it. . great job . Great people great job. . xx

I came to Hairmedics to try e50 Hair exosomes treatment as I suffer a great deal of hair shedding. The treatment is totally painless! I started noticing healthier hair after 2 weeks. Over 12 months has passed and my results from my hair surgery have truly been life changing! I had approx 3000 grafts implanted by dr bashar and his team (lips on and yeti) I think were their name and I can’t thank them enough! I can now finally request a decent hair cut from my barber 😂😂 not more Bobby Charlton type hair cuts!

I think to start off with stating that it’s not actually HairmedicsUK that operate on you, in my experience you are sent to other clinics with other names.

I have had two hair transplants, one in one clinic and the second at a different clinic, with a total of 3800 grafts in total, this has led me to have a small patch of hair at the front of my head and a massive section at the back with no hair.

For reference if I close my fingers together in an open palm that covers the front of my head with hair and if I open my fingers with an open palm that is the part of my head that has no hair on it

My experience

3rd of August 2021 was my first hair transplant
I met with Dr Mohamed who runs “City Clinics”, he led me to have my first hair transplant to which I gained 3000 grafts for 3K – happy days/ happy results

I was originally told I would be able to have 3000 on the front and then 3000 again on the back

In November 2021 I proceed to book my second hair transplant, to which I found that “Hair medics” are no longer working with Dr Mohamed and he is no longer able to do my hair transplant.

I am in contact with somebody called Robert through whats app, who convinces me that it’s the same procedure just with a different surgeon, against my better judgement I went ahead and had my second hair transplant booked.

I am now booked in for my second hair transplant at the Riverside House location, with “Skin Medics UK” in 2022 – this time around I am having a different experience, I am having medication before the operation and tests done to check if I am okay to be operated on (which I understand, they need to make sure it’s safe) however these weren’t done previously, and this leads to me being unable to have the operation as my heart rate is too high, I am then advised to get ECG test at my doctors, I sent over my results and rebooked in a year’s time (due to my work commitments)

July 2023 and I am booked in again to have my second hair transplant, again at the Riverside House, location with “Skin Medics UK”, the staff where really good to me and did everything they could to operate on me given there was some issues with my heart rate again, however I only managed to get 800 grafts for 3K which is a big difference from what I was previously told I was able to have from Dr Mohamed.

The important part which is the results
I'm I happy with the results? No

I am now with left with a small part of hair on the front of my head and a massive crown of no hair to which It looks ridiculous

I have left my review for a long time as I didn’t want it to be reactive but when you get sent photos of yourself titled "the photographer has done you dirty here" and it’s a picture of a massive bald crown with a tuff of hair at the front when I bent over, it’s time for my review to be left so others are made aware of what could happen to you

I have spent 6k to have no more hair than when I first started

When your told there’s no more grafts that can be used and you have spent 6K already with poor results, what I’m supposed to do? go back and ask for a particle refund? that’s not going to do anything for me, and I am not going to put myself through hearing them say it was another doctor who promised you 6000 grafts not us or in a small print of a document, I signed etc we can’t guarantee the amount of grafts

In my opinion (not facts) I was caught between “Hair medics uk” which is an agency that assigns you to actual clinics who operate on you, in my first instance “City Clinics” ending their partnership and then me getting reassigned to another clinic “Skin Medics UK” and getting really poor results.

If I even had incline to know that the second 3000 wouldn’t have been possible, I wouldn’t have gone through with it in the first place.

I can’t fault the staff at Skin Medics UK or at City Clinics however I have spent a lot of money, have had two operations that are quite painful including recovery time and now left with really bad hair. it looks like I have half a hair cut

I did a lot of research on re-growth hair products. Chose my plan, and had 100% support and guidance from Robbie at HairMedics.
He will always call you back when he say he will. Which means a lot when you are investing in products.
I have now been using my product plan from HairMedics for 3 months and I have a little Forrest of new hair growth, only about 2cm long at the moment, but patience is a virtue, and it is coming back. It’s now part of my daily/weekly routine.

Rikesh - had my hair transplant with Dr Shaw on Saturday 27th July.

From the minute I had my consultation in person with Leanne, she made me feel really comfortable with options there are instead of just jumping into telling me that I needed a hair transplant.

Now, background story about myself is my hairline started to recede during the pandemic and noticed my crown area was starting to thin from 2020 too.

2023 I had started to use PRP treatment and noticed a big difference but I felt like I had started PRP too late as some of the hairs in the crown were already on their way out and hairline loss was significant already.

Going back to hair medics UK. I opted to have a hair transplant and on the day Dr Shaw, John and Yetti had made me feel really comfortable from the moment I walked through the doors on the day of my hair transplant.
In the morning they had extracted the hairs from the back of my head and then broke up for lunch. After lunch, Dr Shaw had made incisions in my head for the hairs to go into.

Overall was not as painful as I imagined although my body was absorbing the anaesthetic too quickly so needed a top up from time to time.

The support you get from the team post transplant is amazing too and Leanne is on hand to really help you along the way.

Would highly recommend using Hair Medics UK to anyone looking for hair restoration.

Had my hair transplant done on 31/03/2023. Upon arrival everyone was professional and gave me an insight into the day ahead. I was receding on my temple area and really wanted to get this rectified for my self confidence. The process was smooth and I didn’t feel a thing.

As the months went by I noticed the new follicles growing and my hairline was slowly coming back so I was happy. But after the 12 month mark, I noticed that the follicles were so thin in my temple area and this left me to have patches on either side.

I was not happy with the outcome so I contacted hair medics to see if there was a way I could get this sorted. It was brought to my attention that I could either have a partial refund or have a top up procedure for free. I follow a hair transplant group on Facebook so I went to seek advice and they told me not to waste the grafts and go to Turkey (which I should’ve done to begin with.)

I decided to inform Hair medics that I wanted a partial refund. After months and months of back and forth with the receptionist/surgeon and sales team, I was told that if I wanted a partial refund then I would have to travel all the way back to St. Albans just to see if I warrant one. I wish I could attach pictures because you can clearly see it’s a failed hair transplant and I warrant one.

I am so disappointed with my experience with hair medics and I wish I stuck with my gut and travelled to Turkey for the procedure. Had a quote from a few places in the UK and they offer so little grafts and leave you with thin and unnatural results. I now need to now save up as I spent my inheritance on this and travel to Turkey for a procedure that will give me the results I want.
