Hackworthy & Sons Ltd Anmeldelser

The team were brilliant on moving day. They arrived on time and worked around us still packing last minute items. They were polite and worked very hard. I have no hesitation in recommending Hackworthy and Sons services.

The 2 guys were absolutely fabulous & the speed they worked at had to be seen to be believed. Their cheerfulness helped me to get through what could have been an extremely distressing day

They were fantastic! So helpful and quick on the day.

Hackworthy & Sons were the first removal company to visit us and complete a quote for our move. In the end they were competitive on price, compared to other quotes we received and able to accommodate our removal date. We self packed and picked up some moving materials from their local depot before the move. The team of three who moved us on the day were helpful, careful and worked hard all day to get the job done. I would certainly not hesitate to use them again in the future, our move went very smoothly from start to finish.

From initial visit to quote was conducted very professionally & courteous.
Quote was very competitive. Pre move was handled very well, queries, box supply & concerns all answered well.
Moving day could not have gone better thanks to the amazing removals staff. Helpful, careful, plus a sense of humour, much appreciated in this difficult/stressful occasion.
This was not a simple load & move. We needed 2 vehicles, one for house, one for garden. Both were handled with the same care & attention.
Would highly recommend Hackworthy & Sons for your removals.
Many thanks

Brilliant service. Staff on the days were extremely helpful and hard working.Would certainly recommend

Excellent customer service, nothing too much of a problem. Thanks again.

Fast efficient service
Crew were friendly, courteous and knew their business - especially when packing valuable and fragile goods - like tvs

The guys were prompt to arrive and were friendly and chatty.
They worked throughout the morning checking in with us to make sure they had understood our instructions clearly.
We felt completly at ease around the team and had faith that they knew what they were doing.
At the other end they quickly emptied everything into the right rooms
I have broken my leg and they were really mindful of this, making sure I had a sofa to sit on ,it was the first thing they unpacked.
The day was stress free and went smoothly. We were very impressed with their hard work and professionalism

Professional at every stage from initial survey, quotation, arrangements for dates, removals and delivery, Hackworthy served us very well indeed. The stressful days of removal were eased by a really careful and composed team who made the job look easy and fitted our whole house into storage that looked too small! We were so impressed by their calm attention to detail and their efficient work. These people know how to stack stuff! Thank you so much.

I was very impressed with the work and attitude of all the members of the Hackworthy Team that we met. They managed our delayed provisional booking really well, often a feature of moving, and the removals team were professional and helpful. They managed to carefully pack all of our belongings in the storage units very skilfully.

Wonderful service from start to finish. Everyone turned up when they said they would - worked so hard and efficiently. Would not hesitate to recommend.

The 3 guys from Hackworthy were magnificent, we can't praise them too highly. Nothing was too much for them; all they needed was tea/coffee. Boxes were collected when we had unpacked. Packing service was great.

Hackworthy Removals - The company were recommended via the estate agent we were purchasing our new home from. The removals team were very professional from the start of my enquiry through to the end and completion of my move. They took the job on at a very short notice, and the move from Bedfordshire to Plymouth went very smoothly. The drivers were amazing and are a credit to the company. They were helpful, smiley, and nothing was too much bother for them, even after a very long drive to load and then a return journey to unload. Amazing company, would recommend, and would use again.

These guys are great. They are good as gold. Polite, helpful and caring. Thank you

Used Hackworthy & Sons Ltd for a move in Dec 2021. Competitive quote and vey professional. Would highly recommend!

Without doubt the WORST removal firm we've ever used. We selected Hackworthy & Sons because they appeared to offer everything we needed; local to Plymouth, long established, reasonably priced, available on our moving dates and could store our furniture for a short period of approximately 3 weeks. Our perfect furniture was removed from our home in June but when it was delivered to our new house a few weeks later we were horrified. Two very expensive wood cabinets were badly scratched and gouged, another cabinet had clearly been pushed or dragged along a rough surface because the bottom of it was split and a Vi-Spring divan base which we had protectively double wrapped had the wrapping split and was covered in a green mildew stain. Wrapping on an armchair also showed evidence of the chair being pushed or dragged rather than lifted and placed down.

An insurance claim for the damage they did (settled by Hackworth's insurers, not ours) was only recently settled, which is why we did not review them earlier. Suffice to say that Hackworthy's rank incompetence caused us great distress and them thousands of pounds in an insurance payout. Avoid like the plague.

Thank you for fitting in my move at short notice. The members of staff that I spoke to on the phone were very helpful and answered all my questions. The crew that arrived were brilliant. They were all very different characters (!), but worked well as a team.
