Gold Seal is fantastic. Of all of the ground training I've received, the instrument pilot was top notch and got me through my test just fine. It's hard to consume all of the material but I feel like it was really well presented. It was very easy to go back and re-study. An excellent experience for sure!

I started using Gold Seal ground school earlier this year, as I began flight training. It has been extremely effective in teaching me what I need to know, and my CFI constantly tells me how much he appreciates the knowledge I have already learned, so we can focus on flying the airplane. Russell at Gold Seal has been fantastic, I had one small issue with sound on one of the lessons and he fixed it just hours later! I have nothing but good things to say about Gold Seal!

Well organized and attractively produced web-based program. A mix of animation, interactive video, text slides, and supplemental reading from the FAA publications (PHAK and AFH). Quizzes after each topic and at the end reinforce details. The instructors have a friendly, confidence-inspiring attitude both in the videos and in answering questions by email and the Facebook. They are very responsive and knowledgeable. My practice test scores accurately predicted my final FAA test score (over 90%). I wish they had non-interactive audio or audio/video lessons available to make it possible to learn while commuting, exercising or doing chores, when interacting with a web browser to click to the next screen or answer questions isn't practical. Some topics are only covered in the supplemental reading assignments.

Love the way the content is laid out. Tests are great and it was a bonus my CFI could monitor my progress. I also purchased the Instrument program.

Stop right here and do not look for another ground school! Gold Seal is the key to a passing score! Russell does a great job in explaining the subject. Money well spent; next course is already loading.

As for the education piece, the content is up to date and state of the art! The quizzes and tests keep you engaged plus the animation is awesome and keeps your visual attention there! It’s not someone standing in front of a screen talking. It has visual and real life scenarios that add that 3rd dimension to the training.

As for the Gold Seal team - Russell is fully engaged in supporting the flight learning community! He is very engaged in his social media and is willing to help wherever he can!

I cannot say enough good things about Gold Seal’s online ground school. With other ground schools, I am sure I would have just been a number. With Gold Seal, I felt like I had a support system throughout the process. Russ reached out to me personally a number of times to answer my question and to inquire about my progress. Being an older PPL Student with a very busy career and no prior aviation experience, I needed things succinct and put in layman‘s terms. Whenever someone asks in a forum or anywhere on social media which ground school I recommend, gold seal is the immediate answer. The program itself is extremely well thought out and professionally presented. But for me, the most important thing is how responsive they are when you have questions. My only requirement of any instructor live or online, is the ability to have a conversation and ask deeper questions. So far, they have helped both myself and my son with private pilot ground as well as instrument. Cannot recommend them enough.

The combination of short videos (with excellent visual graphics) and the digital study materials really made the information easy to internalize. The short quizzes at the end of each lesson, the end of section checks, the practice test, and final exams were huge in preparing me for a successful test result on my first try.

When Gold Seal says you can contact them for answers to questions, they mean it. Even on weekends. The course not only covers material for the knowledge test but flight skills also. Many subjects are explained in various ways to help your understanding. Practice tips, practice tests really had me prepared for the knowledge test.

Gold Seal's ground school was amazing with its visual depictions and easy to understand textual knowledge. Would recommend to a friend!

Went from Student Pilot to CFI in a year and two days and used Gold Seal for private and instrument training. Hands down the most comprehensive ground school out there. The only thing better than the content is the level of customer service you get on the back end of things. Russ and his crew have been instrumental in providing not only a quality service, but also maintaining a standard for creating safe and proficient pilots out there in the fleet. Can't speak highly enough for the content. It's very engaging, easy to follow, interactive and is constantly evolving and updating to meet the ever changing needs of the industry. Interactive and detailed lessons with plenty of practice questions helped me a lot. I feel like 299$ was on the higher end but having the lifetime access makes it worth the money.Also had I technical issue of my own creation. I had a great experience studying for my private pilot, FAA knowledge exam using the Gold Seal Online Ground School. The material is up to date and easy to use. Great mix of video and other interactive study material as well as printable support material to get you fully and confidently prepared for the test. There are many additional support videos they provide on their YouTube channel. Good humor helps keep it from being a dry subject at times. I scored a 97% on my first and only attempt. I am 62 so online learning is new to me. I tried two other well known, online programs. They were much pricier and did not do as well as Gold Seal. Russ and his team do a fantastic job of setting you up for success in the shortest amount of time. Thank you!
