Gold Seals program made it easy to grasp and understand the information needed for me to prepare for my IFR written exam.

I've done both my instrument and commercial ground schools through Gold Seal and generally recommend it to anyone who is looking at getting a rating.

The lessons are laid out in a manner that allows you to approach them in multiple sittings, easy to come back to for reference, and cover all the topics very well.

Each course also comes with a study guide to reference topics from time to time and cover topics that may have slipped over time.

I really enjoyed using Gold Seal’s Private Pilot Ground School. The instructors were clear, the animations made difficult concepts understandable and the great summaries helped pull everything together. The course was easy to use and the progress report helped me stay on track and finish before my personal deadline. I felt well prepared for my Knowledge Test and passed with an above average score! I love the in-depth review of all topics, as well as the blend of visual and interactive content. I feel over prepared for the written exam after each course I take through Gold Seal!!

the videos were easy to follow along and helped with the understanding. The wording is difficult on the practice tests and I am hoping that is how it is worded on the regular test because that caused me some delays. Some of the math would be helpful with some more physical work out problems rather than reading to resolve them. (like a classic white board tutoring session)

This course is great, I loved the interactivity and ease of communicating and learning the topic, which made it much easier to understand.

Gold Seal is the real deal!

I’ve used Gold Seal for both my Private and Instrument training and have had nothing but a great experience throughout. I scored very well on both exams, and I truly can’t thank Russ and the team enough for the quality of the material and instruction.

I recently purchased the Commercial ground course and already find it incredibly valuable. What stands out most is that the platform focuses on actually teaching and simplifying concepts instead of encouraging rote memorization. The courses make complex topics easy to understand while preparing you extremely well for the written exam.

I would highly recommend Gold Seal to anyone serious about building strong aviation knowledge and performing well on their checkrides and written tests.

Gold Seal has got to be the best online training program out there for whatever course you need! I used Gold Seal for my private, got an 88 on my written exam, and passed with flying colors on the checkride! The way Gold Seal teaches you the material really makes you understand it and makes you feel like you’re in the same room as the instructors, compared to other competitors. I recommend this to anyone out there seeking a career in aviation, or those that just want to fly for fun!

I was looking for help with my IPC and thankfully Russell reached out and was more than willing to help. He’s extremely experienced, easy to work with, and made the whole process smooth and comfortable. The program itself is very straightforward and easy to follow. It helped me build confidence and improve my radio communication much faster. The instructors are a huge reason for that. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to sharpen their skills and grow as a pilot.

I finished Gold Seal's private pilot ground school and passed my knowledge test with a 90%. The course itself was a good overview of the knowledge needed for the PPL, and I'm giving it 5 stars because of that plus Russ, the owner, seems to really care about improving the course.

I had some feedback for him on some lessons that were a bit disorganized, and he personally responded and took a call with me to understand what he could improve. That was a very nice move that he didn't have to do, and I appreciated the gesture.

Took the IFR ground school after using another ground school for my PPL, loved the course format in videos, very high quality graphics that are good visuals.

I have used Gold Seal for private and instrument written tests and scored 95% and 100%. Gold Seal's course layout, tools, and lessons are all awesome. They do a fantastic job actually teaching you the material so that memorization is not required for the majority of knowledge. I recommend Gold Seal to everyone looking for a ground school.

Gold Seal is the standard for ground school. Russ and his team do an incredible job of explaining the topics required. They helped me pass my written and found the course super helpful when studying for checkride. I’m now working on IFR ground with them and will continue their program through commercial. Can’t recommend enough.

I took PPL course.
Went through the lessons and also used provided FAA materials (links on the lessons materials).
Got 92 on my written.

Such a great ground school, easy to navigate. Explains all topics very well and in an easy way to comprehend. I would recommend to anyone else just starting out. It has helped me tremendously to learn the foundations I did not know of flying.

I’m a visual learner and I like learning in small chunks and building the knowledge base from there. Gold Seal was just the right ground school for me. I studied a few years ago for my private. And this year, for my Instrument rating. I also went ahead and took the Instrument Ground instructor too since it has the sane content (plus a few helicopter questions). I scored a 97% on the IRA test and a 98% on the IGI. Of course I read the reference material as well. But Gold Seal really helped me neatly ace this test. I would highly recommend their training program.

Animations were great and engaging. The quizzes at the end of each section really drove home the important information. Solid ground school!

Gold seal was great. I tried a different one for my private and I definitely liked this much more. I wish I would’ve done gold seal for my private training.

I liked that at the end of the topic a complete screen shot showed a breakdown of the steps to perform. Got to know things I didn't know previously like that transponders were in octas. Quizzes were good. Weather charts were good. I will recommend to other people. I felt it was worth the money.
