Birchen Grove Garden Centre 

Four main things:
1. The gifts department is much too small and unexciting relative to the overall size of the garden centre.
2. The meal in the restaurant (scrambled egg and baked beans on toast) was off-puttingly massive, served on two very thick pieces of toast.
3. Someone needs to re-design the geography of the facility so that customers can more easily find their way round.
4. With such large premises, there is room for creativity. There needs to be something unique and attractive for customers to choose this garden centre over others.
I've visited twice in about 10 years and both times were bleak.

Hopeless customer service.
Did not respond to requests for assistance (used its online form twice and was ignored both times).
Also, delivered items in poor condition.
Really disappointing indeed.

I visited Birchen Grove Garden Centre yesterday The staff were helpful and excellent at keeping everyone safe and the visit was well organised and very relaxed and enjoyable.

I was horrified by a customer who rudely chastised staff for their social distancing safety measures which are for all our safety saying to them to hurry up she did not have time for this! Refusing to keep 2 meters from the assistant who remained calm and polite when told “this was foolishness” and she could remain close to her as she was now putting on her mask!!!
A big Thank you To your staff who are brave and heroic and I am sure the vast majority of customers appreciate them.
I firmly believe that customers who adopt this attitude and refuse to follow the SD rules should be asked to leave to protect your Staff who behaved impeccably

Poor choice of plants , shabby . Food was a counter by the tills with plastic chairs , unworthy of a station . Charged full price for unlabelled pot of straggly plant . Depressing experience
