Website is easy to work through and order. The food is always big portions and very easy and quick to make. Only negative is that the instructions (TGI Fridays ribs) are a bit messy so make sure you read through it all before you start

If you are looking for a nice meal in but the delivery is fulfilled by these guys, don’t bother. The Burger and Lobster DIY kit delivery never turned up and Great Food 2 U kept giving conflicting messages. First they claimed the food had been delivered (it never was) and when I said it hadn’t been, they said there must have been an error on my side with the order even though I had confirmation of the order (so why did they say they delivered it?). Pathetic customer service after the event and they had the audacity to actually try to blame this on me! I’m completely astounded and they ruined the celebration of a special occasion as we were left without our order and they didn’t bother to tell us the food wouldn’t turn up.

The experience was as good as always. BRILLIANT xx

Great instructions and clearly marked ingredients.
Chicken was a little light for four people so I added 300g more.
Adding fries would be a good touch.
Loved eating out of the boxes and the chicken tasted fantastic.
Having had eaten MC before it was just as good.
Will be doing this again 😁

First of all, the 5 stars is for GreatFood2U. Service is great, response and helpfulness can’t be faulted. We’ve had a few meals now, a lobster roll as a gift which was fantastic and two lots of Bleekers burgers. However, we would have only had one lot of burgers 🍔 other than for the fact my wife and I both read the same review and both ordered them! One was enough, really not to our taste. Each time on cooking the burgers produced over 100ml of fat. They still tasted fatty and not of much else. May be to some people’s taste but not ours (and I like fatty food!). There are better options for similar money that come with brioche buns, pickles, relish etc. Still, top marks for delivery, packaging and promptly postponing one order when we double booked.

Had a pizza hut box gifted to us and we really enjoyed the experience of making our own pizza. The dough took the full 90 mins to proof so this nugget of info could be better placed on the outside of the box so you dont think that you can open it and start cooking immediately. Ours was the basic cheese and tomato so we added some onions,peppers and ham and we had some homemade wild garlic pesto with it.
The end result was a very fresh tasty pizza.
The only negative is not about the food but about the ice gel packs! These will just end up in land fill. Yes you could re use them at home, but if you order on a regular basis and get 4 packs per box you would soon be swamped. Why cant regular ice be used?

Ordered the Bleecker Black after having read a review from a prominent food critic a couple of weeks ago. It was ‘out of this world!’ Instructions allowed me to cook the burgers to my liking, taking into account the FSA recommendation. The seasoning, and sauce were perfect as well. I gave a five star review for the meal only. The box in which the meal was delivered arrived battered and sodden which was caused by one of the punctured ice packs.

Very disappointed - was supposed to be a lobster roll kit for four but clearly whoever cut the rolls paid no attention and we only ended up with two compete rolls , one slither of a roll and half another.

Spending £49 for two rolls is very poor !!

I'm sure Burger and Lobster restaurant would be very embarrassed to put their name to this

Based on the order received it looks like my recommendation was taken on board **

Have ordered 3 boxes now from Great Food 2U: all arrived in great condition, great food, easy to prepare. Can heartily recommend Bleecker and White Men Can't Jerk. Had WMCJ for a lockdown birthday treat, and despite not being able to barbecue the chicken its amazing. Really full of flavour. Double thumbs up!

Hands down, the best burgers ever! We had them for the first time last year at a stall on the south bank and we’re delighted when we found out we could order them home!

Fabulous tasting food and great delivery service

Restaurant food at home has been amazing for us, with two young kids even before lockdown we rarely got to enjoy a restaurant meal in peace just the two of us. Now we can pop the kids to bed and cook up a date worthy feast, without booking a babysitter or a cab home.

We ordered a box from our favourite restaurant, Meat Liquor, and enjoyed the cooking process as well as the dining. Everything arrived in good time and well packed. We've since had a Pizza Express meal kit too which was awesome. Looking forward to ordering another kit soon, and thinking about getting the pizzas in to make with the kids.

Food was of an excellent quality and delivered on time to 3 different locations so the family could cook together via zoom 😀 fab evening had by all. Instructions easy to follow
