Gorgeous colours
Gorgeous colours, paint goes on really well and dries quickly. Very speedy service as well. Add in environmentally friendly and what’s not to like?

Wonderful paint
The prompt delivery.
The quality and smoothness of the paint, was far better than I expected (some of the reviews were very negative about the smoothness) and it has covered the area painted very well.
Most importantly was the lack of toxics and smell of normal paints.
I was happy for my grand children to visit the next day without worry as my one grandson has a lot of allergies which affect his health, no problem with this paint.

It was delivered in the advised window. The advice on diluting the paint is useful as it is thick & concentrated. This should allow use in different situations. It is expensive but we hope it is all it is said to be! Good colours. Thank you.

Expensive delivery
I was looking forward to receiving the product however the cost of the courier was prohibitive and I had to cancel. £16.00 postage to northern Scotland is too much. The three stars are for the good customer service and the promptly given refund.

Purely from a sales perspective having…
Purely from a sales perspective having spent almost 40 years within the paint industry, the colours don't stand out like the competitors, the product containers don't exude quality (if anything the opposite). Your USP is a good one being plant based and no harmful VOC's but I only see it selling in the more affluent areas.

Thank you for your review on Trustpilot – it is always interesting to hear from people with significant sales experience in the industry.
We mostly have positive feedback about our colour card – our range of 96 colours in the ‘House colour card’ - we do think it is a good overall range from whites and greiges to some bolds and darks . With the ‘Ashmolean Treasured Collection’ we add a further 12 – some of the more stunning colours like Kingfisher are very popular - but I completely understand that colour is subjective. It is sometimes impossible to get this right for everyone. If needed, you can contact the office where we also have over 1000 NCS and RAL colours if there was a shade you couldn’t quite find.
We re-designed the 100% PCR (post-consumer recycled) tubs for the UK market just over a year ago with a cleaner, simpler format and design. Although there are still some product lines – primers and some medium colour bases – which still appear in the old livery, we are hoping that by the middle of 2024, all the paints will be available in the new design.
The paints are positioned and priced in a similar bracket to most of the ‘designer’ paints on the market rather than a standard trade or DIY offer. However, with coverage rates of up to 16m2 per litre, our paints can go further and are therefore cheaper per m2 than a lot of other brands!
We are very proud of our ‘Trace VOC’ USP (among many others), but I am afraid our paints are not ‘plant based’. We do though use natural minerals such as lime, calcium carbonates and silicates - and other sustainable raw materials and resins!

Great paint!
Very quick delivery, and fantastic knowing the family is not breathing in toxins when using the paint. I chose a bold paint and colour is awesome, and brushes on well.

We were recommended to look at these paints by our builder who had re-plastered a wall in our older home with lime cement. Very easy to order online with clear advice on the website. We ordered the primer and a sample which proved a good match so followed up with a second order of paint. Next day delivery with APC excellent. Very impressed with this product.
