Badly lacking durability
Attractive and easy to apply paint (as mentioned by others) but chips and scratches very easily, needing regular touch-ups. The eggshell finish, in particular, is vastly less durable than oil-based equivalents.

I have found the Graphenstone website easy to navigate with useful tips and great explanations of their breathable paints and mould resistance.
After wasting a huge amount of money and time using these paints, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. We have tried to persevere with these paints for some time, but have given up after spending weeks painting all of the *fully prepared* woodwork, only to find that it just peels off like a thin layer of plastic. When I contacted customer services with out concerns this was immediately put down to 'user error' with absolutely no effort made to help us out given the considerable amount of money that we have spent with this company. With any other eggshell paint it wouldn't be necessary to use a primer in addition to preparing the surface unless it was bare wood (which it wasn't). The customer services were unhelpful and patronising and as much of a waste of time as the paints themselves.
I recently had the pleasure of using Graphenstone paint, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. Not only does it deliver stunning results, but its eco-friendly feature of pulling in carbon makes it a standout choice for environmentally-conscious individuals. The coverage this paint provides is nothing short of amazing, especially if you're familiar with paint application techniques. Even diluting it with water doesn't compromise its coverage capabilities. The ease with which it spreads allowed me to use significantly less paint, which was a pleasant surprise. As someone who typically stuck with tried-and-true methods, I was initially hesitant to change my ways. However, the results I achieved with Graphenstone paint proved that innovation can indeed enhance the painting process. Although it's a bit more expensive, the finished product is absolutely worth it. The range of colors available adds another layer of appeal to this product.I arranged a meeting on site to discuss using this product with my customer as it was a large project and we wanted to know more about the product first.
The experience of having John and Ben explain the product on-site was fantastic. Their expertise and friendliness reassured me that I was making the right choice, they knew there stuff!
With 34 years in the decorating industry, I can confidently recommend this paint to fellow decorators who might be hesitant to embrace new methods. Give it a shot, and you might find, like I did, that it's a game-changer for your future projects.

The difficulty with eco paints is not only finding them, since the world is awash with overblown claims of sustainability, but it is also that they need to be worked with in particular ways and many decorators do not have the skills to use them properly. This is where this company scores really highly because you can call up and get a real person on the phone who in my case gave me quite extensive and explicit advice that I could pass on to my decorator. The paints were also available in beautiful colours and even my ‘traditional’ decorator said it was a pleasure to work with them.
I've been overseeing the renovation of my sister's old terraced house. The interior has been completely re-plastered using lime as the house had work carried out in the past when cement products were used resulting in serious damp. We wanted a really good quality breathable paint and the lime plasterer suggested we try Graphenstone. It is a lovely paint to use. It isn't cheap but it does go a long way. The mist coat soaks into the lime and looks patchy initially but with the final coat which also needs to be diluted the coverage is excellent. My sister is delighted with the result as am I. I highly recommend the product.
Vegan, cruelty free, environmentally friendly paint. A wide range of beautiful colours with excellent coverage. Will definitely buy again. (Highly recommend 'Oxford' and 'Nakajima').
I am an Interiors Architect and absolutely recommend Graphenstone above all other 'eco' paints for their truly sustainable paint that is uniquely C02 absorbing and awarded 'gold' by the highest, holistic material health Cradle to Cradle certifiers in the world. There simply is no other paint on the planet that has as many rigorous 'green' science certifications and benefits including outstanding durability, anti-mould, breathable, easy clean and graphene nanotechnology. Beautiful paint that is good for people and planet, no toxins, finally!
