Great value and professionalism
We were nervous going into the conveyancing process as our last experience (with a different online firm) had been a nightmare. Fortunately the team at Gordon Brown Law were the complete opposite; they were incredibly communicative and professional and made the selling process easy throughout. Any issues were sorted out quickly and effectively. The quoted price was great value compared to other solicitors we had enquired with and any extra costs were clearly communicated up front. Unlike some other firms we spoke to, they had no issues with conveyancing a leasehold property and handled communication with the freeholders and management company very quickly. Our solicitor, Shafa, was very responsive and replied to all our queries within a matter of hours. She was very knowledgeable about the whole process and handled complex issues with ease! We would definitely recommend Gordon Brown Law for their great value and excellent service.

The staff were very helpful
The staff were very helpful. They answered any queries I had even when my solicitor was not available to speak to.
However, I do feel the process was longer than necessary but will also take into consideration outside organizations were involved.

Gordon brown law is trustworthy firm
It was a pleasant experience of working with Gordon Brown Law as my solicitor. All of the representatives are knowledgeable and reliable, though I mostly communicated with Sara Thompson, she is efficient and friendly, her professionalism is very impressive!

Selling of my property
Throughout selling my property we had a few ups and downs in getting this over the line but Cailtin throughout was professional and reassured me all the was.

Solid work by Gordon Brown Law
We instructed Gordon Brown Law for our first property purchase and they were excellent throughout. I would happily recommend them to family and friends.
The whole process took just over 5 months, partly because we changed the property we were buying and needed some repairs completed before we could proceed. Despite that, the transaction was handled almost flawlessly — only minor errors, nothing serious.
Communication was straightforward: it was easy to phone (though sometimes there was a 10–15 minute wait), use their app, or simply email directly. Overall, we were very happy with the service and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Professional and efficient
My husband and I had Lee as our conveyancer at Gordon Brown Law. He altogether dealt with 2 transactions for us (first fell through due to a poor level 3 survey). As soon as we found another property to purchase Lee worked quickly to raise the enquiries and have us complete within our desired timeframe. I never needed to chase for updates and would mainly get in contact to provide any update on our end. He was professional and efficient throughout - if we were to need a conveyancer in the future we will be requesting Lee :)

They lost my legal documents
They lost my legal documents, asked me to send them again. I don't know how can i trust a law firm that cannot handle a few documents.
Edit after the reply: I had a phone call with Gordon Brown Law earlier in the week, and when I asked about my files, I got the answer "I don't have it" repeatedly. It hasn't been explained to me what is wrong or what happened. Just "I don't have it." If a solicitor cannot tell the difference between "this document is not witnessed correctly" and "I don't have it" don't know how much trust I have for this sale to go through.

Upon a thorough review of the case, we have found that the documents are indeed on file. However, It appears they were not witnessed correctly. Additionally, bank statements are present but are in Turkish, which has posed a challenge for us as we are unable to review them properly.
Given this evidence, we respectfully request you to reconsider and remove your review from the platform as it does not accurately reflect the situation
