We've researched five travel companies in order to find the most affordable flights to Europe in the Spring. Three of the five use a bait and switch advertising campaign. Horrible experience listening to them justify their offers! The we found GoFlyFirst.

Go Fly First just saved me several thousand dollars.

I fly First or Business exclusively and know what fares to expect regardless of the booking portal. So I never paid much attention to emails from Go Fly First. But this week I found myself needing to get quickly to a Eurasian city from my Eastern US home city. I needed specific dates and a specific airline because it was the only one offering non-stop service.

The round trip Business Class airfare on the airline’s website for the flights I needed was almost $10,000. Non-airline booking portals were within a few dollars of that. I started to book it but suddenly remembered Go Fly First. Zoey responded to my email within 15 minutes with a firm quote of less than $5,000. I was stunned and we went back and forth as I questioned the legitimacy of the quote. Every time I had a question or suspiciously requested a clarification, Zoey immediately, professionally and politely answered via email or phone call within a few minutes, including replying to a query I fired off at 9PM Eastern time.

Booking process, pricing, ticket restrictions, everything was transparent. The electronic ticket along with a confirmation number as well as seat assignments arrived within an hour after I supplied my credit card info. I quickly logged on to the airline website and there I was, name, tickets, seats, everything confirmed and ready to go!

Full disclosure: Mine was not your typical JFK, EWR, IAD jaunt to LHR, CDG, AMS with planes flying back and forth like swarms of mosquitos. So I suspect my savings would be more modest on these common routes. And my tickets are highly restricted. No changes, no whining. Just get on the plane and go. But with thousands of free money in my pocket, who cares? Zoey is my new BFF. I will be calling her again soon.

Great Prices and service

I saved over 2K from what I found on Kayak and Skyscanner. Easy to work with and polite people.

Sharing my disappointing experience with goflyfirst. They got our names were wrong on the itinerary and told us to notify the airline directly, but the airline refused to help as our tickets were booked through a 3rd party service provider. We were stuck in the middle over a mistake that we didn't make. After rounds of back and forth about such a mistake, we have no confidence with goflyfirst anymore and requested to cancel the tickets, we also agreed to keep the amount with them as credit despite the unpleasant experience. Yet, we were told repeatedly to remove our negative but truthful review (posted by my partner) on trustpilot even though we had said that we will do so if the next booking arrangement (using the credit) is done smoothly. Unfortunately, the focus was more on getting us to remove the review than making sure the we get the service they promised to deliver.

I'm writing a review from 2020. This company was terrific when my husband and I were in Japan and needed to cut our trip short as we were concerned the US airports were going to be closed down due to COVID. This company did an amazing job of responding to our immediate need and negotiating a great airline rate for our return. I'm sorry I didn't write this review earlier. I have recommended them to our friends!

Complete disaster :-/

When you pay a few thousand dollars for two tickets, the least you'd expect is for your name to match your passport, but that did not happen. Unbelievable.

Despite providing Go Fly First with all correct details and our passport copies, they got our names wrong (???) and later on said that they were unable to change them (???)

They asked us to fix the problem ourselves with the airline who did not care since we had not gone through the. So we got stuck in the middle and the whole experience has been a complete disaster.

My advice would be to stay away from this company.

My wife and I are Australians who until Covid arrived lived in France and now reside back in Perth Australia.

Jane Lopez was my agent and she was extremely understanding of my frustration and helped me find the flight I needed and advised me on flight insurance.
