Today I sent my mom from Manhattan to Virginia with go bus and driver’s name was Kamal, he was super respectful, courteous and told me no worries he makes sure she will be safe and get out on the correct station because my mother doesn’t speak English, this driver is a gentleman and made it like I’m talking to a family member, I will definitely use go bus specially if Kamal is the driver, thank you Kamal, I appreciate it.

My husband and I have travelled with Go Buses multiple times from Manhattan to Virginia (Fairfax Station) and back. The buses have bathrooms and are quite comfortable, and we prefer this option over taking the train. I've had to cancel a trip once, and it was refunded to me as credit which I used for a future trip (I had purchased a nonrefundable ticket).
Strong Complaint Regarding Inhumane Treatment by Bus Driver and Nonexistent Customer Service
I am writing this to express my extreme dissatisfaction and disappointment with the experience my daughter and I had while traveling on one of your buses to New York City today. The series of events that unfolded during the trip were not only highly inconvenient but also demonstrated a complete disregard for customer service and basic human decency.
To begin with, we purchased two tickets for the trip, as my daughter, who had an important orchestra performance in New York City. Knowing that she needed to bring her violin along, we were shocked when the bus driver of bus number 3518 displayed an unprofessional and rude attitude towards us right from the start. He vehemently refused to allow us to bring the violin on board, even though we explained the delicate nature of the instrument and the urgency of the performance.
Despite our insistence that we had the right to bring our personal belongings on the bus, the driver threatened us with denial of boarding. Feeling cornered and left with no choice, we reluctantly placed the violin beneath the luggage bay. However, when the bus made a stop, I politely approached the driver once again, inquiring if it would be possible to place the violin case in the compartment above our seat. Instead of addressing the matter with professionalism, the driver responded rudely, threatening to expel us from the bus.
It is important to note that there was ample space available beneath our seat, which would have allowed us to keep the violin safe. However, the driver denied us this reasonable request and continued to exhibit impatience, speeding, and honking at other vehicles throughout the journey. When I attempted to remind him of the company policy, he dismissively informed me that he had no interest in hearing about it, displaying a complete lack of respect for his responsibilities.
The ordeal reached its peak when the bus stopped in New Jersey, and the driver hastily instructed everyone to switch to another bus. This sudden change created further inconvenience, as we were required to reload our luggage onto the new bus. When I approached the new driver and explained the previous driver's refusal to allow me to retrieve the violin, he confirmed that he had received instructions to deny my request. To seek a resolution, I politely requested a pass from the new driver, only to be confronted once again by the previous driver, who threatened to have me removed from the bus.
This relentless display of unprofessionalism, rudeness, and abuse of power was utterly unacceptable. I firmly reminded the driver that his actions were unlawful and that I would pursue legal action if necessary. Nevertheless, he proceeded to escalate the situation further by summoning the police and fabricating a different version of events. As a result, I was forcibly removed from the bus in the middle of nowhere, leaving my daughter and me feeling humiliated and stranded.
Furthermore, my attempts to contact your customer service department during and after the incident were met with complete silence.
The mistreatment we endured throughout this experience is not only deeply distressing but also a reflection of the overall lack of professionalism and consideration within your organization. As a customer, I expected a certain level of service and respect, which was sorely lacking. This incident has left an indelible mark on my daughter, who was also profoundly affected by the humiliating treatment we received.
We used the number 1 from metro center driver couldn't do enough for us
We used the number 1 from metro center to Newcastle the gentleman couldn't do enough for us my wife has to use a wheelchair because she's epileptic she's always falling every time has a turn the gentleman got out his seat and put the ramp down even made sure the seat was up for the wheelchair to get in he left at 1205pm

I just came back from my trip and this is why I am writing the review long time after my experience. I would like to express my appreciation to the driver from the bus 4000, Line 19, time 03.05pm at the Bus Stop Yonge/Elmhurst Ave intersection.
We had been waiting with the suitcases for the bus to the airport.The driver of the bus #19 that approached to the stop, informed us that the line had been cancelled and offered to us to pick us to the correct bus stop. Thank to this kind gentlemen we were able to be in the airport at time. We are very grateful to the Driver of The Bus 4000 line 19, who made our trip very special. It's very difficult to get around at…
It's very difficult to get around at the Union station with the go service! Go made it difficult to find the right platform confusing look at the screen where you are going! The agents at the Union station aren't helpful! I wouldn't recommend anyone to use the Go service!
Poor customer service lack of communication!
Driver for bus 6781 Mar 19 @ 10:30am poor and aggressive manners
On March 19 at 10:30 am I got into the bus. I was about to seat in the front seat and the driver start to screen in a poor manner “Hey go to another seat”. No explanation for why. I asked why and he kept screening that “another driver will be seating there”. Which makes sense. I asked the driver why he was screening me and he responded “send a complaint” which is what I am doing.
I do not deserve the poor verbal aggressive treatment.
He should kindly say to me I am sorry the front seats are reserved for the second driver.
Driver for bus 6781 the individual did not want to provide his name.
I hope this review helps the company to improve customer service and provide training on how employees should treat people respectfully.

Buses are always broken, u have to be there on time or else they are going to leave you but if there old bus breaks down not even a single apology from them. I almost got fire at my job because all passengers waited 40mins for the 92bus and everyone was pissed coz they all came early. This go bus needs to step up

Bus from Manhattan to Boston broke down in Seacaucus, NJ, at beginning of trip. Driver noticed some weird smoke coming from rear wheels, but dispatcher told him to leave anyway. Now waiting for about two hours on NJ Tnpk. for replacement bus. Academy/Go Buses are too old and not maintained. Better to use the train!

I have taken the Go bus from Burlington to St. Catharines a few times (Sunday nights) and have had the same bus driver tonight. Just wanted to let him know he is so pleasant always says and does nice things for the passengers along the way. Always a pleasant ride.

Its been 3 years i am travelling by go bus because of my work. Everyday i have alteast two taps in Go bus. Today as usual i was coming back from my work and i tapped my card in 41 Hamilton go bus at Richmond Hill center (departing at 5:00PM)and sat on my seat. Driver came to me saying i have senior card( i am 22 years). Why are u using senior card and using the discount on fare when u r not suppose to. I just could not figure out what is happening i am trying to tell him there could be a misunderstanding i have adult pass but he just did not let me say anything and every other passenger is staring at me i was soo embarrassed. He told me to get off and buy a ticket i told him ill get another bus i was on a situation where i cannot think of anything else i was almost crying and i got off. Afterwards i checked my app and it clearly says adult. This just did not came to my mind because i was just not in that state of mind. Then after 5 min i got in another bus and asked him to check for me if card says adult pass when i tap. HE SAID NO IT IS ADULT PASS. Today bus 40, 01/21/2023 10:33 am. on time from. square one to Richmond hill Center. I jump on the bus saying please to the bus driver To wait for a few seconds my daughter is already running from the wash room. But he says No and you coming or not I need to leave now… I can see my daughter running but seem the bus driver choose to ignore me.
As soon as I jump out the bus he closed door and move. So we need to wait for another 30 minutes. So inconsiderate bus lane are not busy not so many passengers

After purchasing a ticket to go to Mississauga on a Friday night scheduling my trip to meet up with somebody for 10: 30 p.m. I I purchased a ticket at 8 p.m. for an 8:15 bus waiting outside to stop the driver stopped and said I'm not taking any more passengers. This night it was below zero there was no proper shelter to keep customers warm and I was told I had to wait an additional hour which would have made me miss my connection to my final destination. Because I had a connection waiting for me I had to spend $100 which I had put aside for bus fare to get to work and groceries for the week I had to use that for an Uber to meet up with my connection and Mississauga Ontario. I was told by go Transit staff that they don't reimburse people for extra expenses they have to put out their pocket because lazy bus drivers don't want to do their jobs and pick up customers. So now I am forced to suffer walk an hour and a half to work in the winter and close to freezing temperatures and go without groceries for a week because of this situation I am appalled and repulsed by the service I have taken go Transit numerous times and have never had an issue like this ever take place. On the road that I was taking there was two major stops that had to be made one an Alberfoyll and one in Milton which would have drastically light in the passenger load the fact that the driver didn't want to take two additional passengers and told them pretty much screw you you have to freeze and minus zero temperatures is disgusting what I recommend go to anybody else absolutely not I used to be a loyal go Transit Rider and now I will never trust them or their services is far as I can throw them.

Shame on their strike.Thanks to their greedy behavior, the rest of us won't be able to get to work. Meanwhile the rest of us make $15 an hour which is far less than these guys make. The rest of us work 2 part time jobs to make ends meet. One of my part time jobs is in Burlington and the other in Niagara Falls. We don't get regular train service here only buses. So basically due to the strike, I can't get to work. How are we supposed to pay our bills then eh?

Booked a bus from Cork to Dublin for 9.30am. Before leaving my house I realised I left my passport at work which would take me a little less than 2 hours to retrieve and cause me to miss my bus. Was able to amend my bus ticket at 7.47am to a bus at 10.30am which meant I could get my passport back and make it on time to the bus without stress.
Aircoach would have made me buy a new ticket and refuse the time change. Will never use aircoach again for this reason alone. Bus ticket was also cheaper than Aircoach.
