This isn't a good company. I've had an Abode security system for 3 years and it was great. It wasn't cheap either. Now they have made changes and taken away some of the features I originally paid for. Avoid Abode at all costs. There are too many other better options available if you're going to be paying a monthly fee anyway.

Spent hours trying to make the doorbell sync with the chime until suddenly it started working. The doorbell only runs on its internal battery and the app does not notify you the battery is running low. To make matters worse the battery lasts less than a week and has to be removed from its mounting base to recharge. This product needs to go back to the drawing board, thumbs down for this video doorbell.

Absolutely fabulous company. Everything works. Support is instant. Customer since 2017.

Stable reliable system that manages security and most of my smarthome devices. Wish the would bring HomeKit support to original hub.

Failure to respond for days regarding a critical issue, the only time it was addressed was after I had committed to removal.

I Just got this new system from you. and I am not happy with the back-up battery. We lost power due to a storm and the back-up only lasted 20 min after the power went out.

The overall performance is good, some glitches with the cameras pop up on occasion, where they go offline or do not alert as expected. Would love to see if there’s any plans to integrate with Matter to include the cameras in other solutions.

Shipping and duty and UPS handling fees were twice what the tiny package cost

System notifications are now generic and don't identify the source of the event. Purchase was made based on older reviews before the stupid change. Customer support kept delaying my return request and trying to get me to purchase a subscription. The whole reason I originally chose Abode was because a subscription wasn't required.

Been using the Abode system for awhile now, adding on new devices is simple and quick. Buying professional monitoring when needed is a great plus. The app is awesome. So yeah I recommend Abode, simply no downside IMHO.

Good product at a fair price. Ordering and delivery was seemless.

I emailed them twice and have been ignored. Then they sent me an email asking them for a review……..

System was fine, but they have taken away key features and made them subscription only. I just added the new doorbell camera and it is pretty much useless without a subscription. I feel like I have been ripped off more than a year after buying the product. I would warn anyone about buying from a company like this.

When I bought this system it was great. It did exactly what I wanted for a self monitored system. Now that they have so many customers that bought into the system, they changed the "no subsciption necessary" rules. Where I used to get a "Front Door Opened" notification, now i get "an event occurred" notification. To get the system I originally paid for, I would now have to pay $83.88 a year for the "self monitor plan". Talk about a bait and switch. Time to move over to SimpliSafe.

All my questions were answered and my problem was resolve. Every time I need help the technician cares and help me resolve the problem.

I have had my system for a few years now and love it . I really like self monitoring and love the ease of use and it allows me to customize all sensors and settings to exactly the way I want . it's the best alarm I ever had and the best I've ever seen
