ich habe meine haartransplantation bei global medical care durchführen lassen und schreibe diese bewertung nach rund 9 monaten – bewusst erst jetzt, weil man dann das resultat nicht mehr schönreden kann.

die organisation wirkt auf den ersten blick sehr professionell: kontakt in zürich, strukturierter ablauf, anzahlung, abholung vor ort, hotel – alles ist so aufgebaut, dass man denkt, man sei bei einem seriösen schweizer anbieter gut aufgehoben. genau dieser eindruck täuscht im nachhinein.

vor ort stellte sich schnell heraus, dass die behandlung nicht in einer klassischen klinikumgebung stattfand, sondern in einem eingemieteten bereich eines beauty-salons. die beteiligten personen wirkten auf mich nicht wie ein eingespieltes team, sondern eher wie einzelne, lose zusammenarbeitende kräfte. auch der arzt war nach einem kurzen auftritt praktisch wieder verschwunden.

für mich entstand der eindruck, dass hier ein system dahintersteht, das sehr gut organisiert vermittelt – aber mit der eigentlichen ausführung nur bedingt zu tun hat. im grunde genommen könnte jeder mit entsprechenden kontakten zur türkei ein solches modell aufziehen: vermittlung, organisation, provision. multipliziert man das mit mehreren kunden pro woche, ergibt sich ein sehr lukratives geschäft.

was auf der website dargestellt wird, entspricht aus meiner sicht nicht dem, was ich vor ort erlebt habe.

auch die kommunikation hinterlässt rückblickend ein klares bild. zu beginn hatte ich eine feste ansprechperson, die vertrauen aufgebaut hat und jederzeit präsent war. genau in dieser phase entsteht auch das gefühl, gut betreut zu sein. mit den ersten kritischen rückmeldungen und zweifeln hat sich das jedoch deutlich verändert. eine klare ansprechperson war nicht mehr vorhanden, die kommunikation wirkte zunehmend unpersönlich und distanziert. für mich ist dieser wechsel rückblickend bezeichnend.

nun zum entscheidenden punkt: das resultat.

mir wurde gesagt, dass mir rund 2’500–3’000 grafts transplantiert wurden. die behandlung dauerte etwa 4,5 stunden – inklusive rund einer stunde pause.

bei einer behandlungsdauer in diesem rahmen ist es für mich schlicht nicht nachvollziehbar, wie diese anzahl an grafts realistisch entnommen und implantiert worden sein soll. selbst bei effizienter arbeitsweise bewegt sich eine solche behandlung üblicherweise in einem deutlich längeren zeitfenster. das heutige resultat verstärkt diesen zweifel zusätzlich.

gleichzeitig sind das alles dinge, mit denen man sich als betroffener in diesem moment kaum auseinandersetzt. man ist froh um jedes einzelne haar, das eingesetzt wird, und klammert sich an die hoffnung, dass es am ende gut kommt. die ernüchterung folgt dann erst später – wenn das resultat sichtbar ist.

wenn ich mir die bilder heute anschaue, bleibt vor allem eines: fassungslosigkeit. die haardichte ist unzureichend, die verteilung ungleichmässig, die kopfhaut deutlich sichtbar. das ist nichts, was man erklären oder relativieren kann – man sieht es sofort.

über monate hinweg wurde ich mit den üblichen aussagen begleitet: „das kommt noch“, „das braucht zeit“. heute weiss ich, dass sich im kern kaum etwas verändert hat. die hoffnung hat das resultat nicht verbessert.

besonders aufschlussreich wurde es für mich im nachgang: solange alles lief, wurde regelmässig nachgefragt. nachdem ich meine beanstandung klar formuliert habe, blieb eine reaktion aus.

für mich genau der moment, in dem sich zeigt, wie ernst man als kunde wirklich genommen wird.

im grunde müsste ich meine erfahrung nicht teilen – ich habe diesen weg auf eigene kosten gemacht. aber genau deshalb tue ich es.

soll am ende jeder selbst entscheiden, ob er diesem anbieter glauben möchte oder nicht.

für mich ist und bleibt global medical care ein sehr clever aufgebautes vermittlungssystem – mit überzeugender aussenwirkung, aber einem resultat, das diesem anspruch nicht gerecht wird.

ich bereue diese entscheidung.

Overall my experience was a very positive one.

From the moment I arrived, the medical team was professional, caring, and reassuring. The doctor explained everything clearly and made me feel safe and confident going into surgery. The nurses were kind, attentive, and always willing to help, especially during the moments when I felt anxious or uncomfortable.

The hospital was clean, well-organised, and the care I received post-operation was thorough. I felt monitored and supported, and any questions I had were answered patiently.

Recovery is, of course, a challenging process, but I genuinely felt that the staff did their best to make it as smooth and comfortable as possible. I’m grateful for the professionalism, empathy, and dedication shown by the entire team. Thank you dr Toygar .

I had a gastric sleeve with gmc in Antalya on 22/02/25 the service they provided was second to none as soon as i stepped foot out of the airport I was greeted by the driver and taken to the hospital where my interpreter was waiting to show us our beautiful room and care team who were all lovely and worked so hard. I had a lot of different tests and checks before my surgery to make sure I was suitable for it .The surgery went amazing and myself and my daughter who came with me for support were well taken care of and advised about everything we needed to be .The interpreter who looked after us during our stay could not do enough for us ,she’s such a lovely kind helpful ,understanding lady and is a credit to gmc .I will definitely be using gmc again in the future for afew other things I’ve been wanting doing but been too afraid of until now .I’d never be afraid to travel and deal with them on my own in the future that’s how at ease they made me feel .lastly I just want to thank them and their team and the fantastic surgeon I had for giving me a another chance at life your all amazing 😊

Hi. From start to finish. This experience has been wonderful. The staff on arrival at the hospital were great. The nurses are very attentive, my surgeon is a lovely caring man. Nothing was ever too much trouble. All in all I would recommend GMC for anyone wanting any future surgeries.

Très bonne communication via un groupe Whatsapp dans notre langue maternelle. La présence de l’interprète est un plus et l’équipe comprend également les quelques mots nécessaires en anglais . Les techniques utilisées sont très professionnelles pour maximiser un rendu des plus naturels.

Everything was perfect from the start to the end. The company cares about you and provides a personalised attention with a very kind French speaking translator on site. We could arrange transfers as per our expectations,, for instance to get back in the old city of Istanbul after the first hair wash, a couple of days after the operation. This one was made in a very professional manner and I have no doubt the result will be excellent in a few months. Thanks to the whole team and keep up the good work!

Incredible experience from booking right through to flying home after surgery. Global medical were with me every step of the way. I had a gastric sleeve at medicana Atakoy, Istanbul with Dr Ibrahim. The hospital was amazing, more like a hotel, incredibly clean and comfortable. I've never ever seen a hospital come anywhere chose in the U.K. nor anywhere else. Dr Ibrahim and his team were so professional, kind, caring and incredibly friendly. I really really can not fault any if the pre operative tests, they are so thorough which means you can be certain you are in the best hands. Overall a flawless experience.
