Gilson Bailey Anmeldelser

Louise (aftersales) was very helpful with prompt updates when parts of the chain were stalling the process.

Extremely disappointing experience with Gilson Bailey.

We viewed two properties with Sharon, and unfortunately her attitude throughout was rude, dismissive and unprofessional.

As first-time buyers with a deposit ready and genuinely looking to purchase, we expected to be treated with basic courtesy. Instead, we were rushed through the viewings, and Sharon appeared disinterested and openly critical of various aspects of the properties, sneering at what she didn’t like.

What I found particularly uncomfortable was the way she treated the vendors. At one viewing, an elderly vendor was telling us about the history of her home, which we were genuinely interested in hearing. Sharon got impatient and eventually closed the door in the lady's face. After the viewings, she practically ran away from us. I found this incredibly disrespectful.

I appreciate that we may not have been viewing million-pound properties, but every buyer and vendor deserves to be treated with professionalism and respect, regardless of the property's price or the buyer's budget.

The whole experience left a very poor impression of the agency. The behaviour we encountered fell well below what I would expect from a professional estate agent. I returned this feedback to them and received no response.

Don’t use Gilson Bailey as a buyer OR a seller. They have no interest in selling your home.

The team at Gilson Bailey were easy and pleasant to deal with for my property purchase from them, thank you all a pleasant experience

These guys employ Cowboy contractors, and when things predictably go wrong have no interest.
Landlord's /Property owners be ware!

Gilson & Bailey have been really prompt in facilitating viewings. Tom showed me around on the second viewing literally a day later and communicated super quickly and clearly as my sale was negotiated and agreed. As I was considering 2 properties with the same agents they quickly made sure I’d only have to communicate with one agent and Tom has been great since. They have all been nice and helpful and quick to answer anything back and forth with sellers when considering options before proceeding with buying. So far, so good!

All the staff are very helpful. I used them previously to rent my flat. More recently I went back to them to sell my mums house when she died.
Louise and the team made the whole procedure less stressful…..as there were ups and downs with the buyers!
Thank you

We received a very efficient service from all the staff at Gilson Bailey, throughout a rather lengthy conveyancing process, especially from Louise Ruddy who was always very helpful and professional. I would recommend Gilson Bailey to anyone wishing to buy or sell their property.

Bought a flat for my son which was being sold via Gilson Bailey. Found the team really helpful. Very good at keeping me updated and chasing the conveyancing process.

Selling with Gilson Bailey was easy, friendly staff, very good at keeping us up to date with how it was going. Would recommend them

Had a long experience with selling my property and buying another. Louise at Gilson Bailey was very supportive, and dealt with all my queries and problems with a calm manner, as well as being very approachable and ready to sort everything out. Especially helpful at stressful times.

Gilson Bailey dealing with my rental property since 2021 and I always received a fantastic service.
Dealing with the new tenants, property inspection and also sending me reminders about the Gas safety and an other legal checks.
The Manager Helen Hall and her team Daniel Bush, Ellen King, Stacey Davy, Alexandra Hartley ( sorry if I missing someone) are fantastic.
Definitely I recommend Gilson Bailey for Lettings or Sales as I also Bought my residential property from them.

I passed the checks for a rental property but pulled out due to the fact Gilson Bailey shared my data without my consent with a company called "One Utility", who kept calling and texting me. I then found out One Utility had contacted council tax and Anglian water, before I had even signed up with them, or signed the Tenancy agreement, to notify them of my moving date. Anglian water set up an account which I then had to phone them to complain about. Absolutely outrageous, and surely illegal?

Don’t be misled by their current rating. My experience with this agency during a house purchase last year was a complete waste of time due to an unprofessional approach and rude staff. Most importantly, they didn’t even pass our offer on to the seller—we only realised this when we later saw the asking price reduced on Rightmove. To make matters worse, they then submitted the *wrong* offer amount on our behalf. Unbelievable.

I used Gilson Bailey in Norwich for the sale of my dads house after he moved into care. Louise was excellent, keeping me updated on the progress and chasing updates from the other parties when needed. A seamless and excellent service where they also took the last days meter readings saving me a 400 mile round trip. Thanks to everyone involved but a very special thanks to Louise.

Very positive experience with the sales team, property sold very quickly.
After sales headed up by Louise kept me informed all the way through the process.
Would definitely recommend.

A outstanding experience, it’s nice to deal with professional and prompt staff, who go the extra mile to support and help you with your property. I can’t thank Tom enough for his help with my property and would recommend his services.

I would highly recommend Gilson &Bailey, a big thank you to Louise who was very efficient and would always email me or telephone to keep me updated on the sale of my property.

My experience with Gilson Bailey was great from start to finish. They were proactive in arranging viewings to sell my flat. Communication was good throughout.
Louise in the after sales team was amazing. My buyer’s solicitor was very difficult to deal with and she did everything she could to get the sale to exchange. She was responsive to emails and calls putting me at ease.
Gilson Bailey are very lucky to have her working for them.
Thanks again Louise!

Gilson Bailey made letting a new property for us really easy. Always there to help or respond to a email. Special thanks to Zak and Lydia for all there help and admin along the way. Thanks again

Louise fought really hard to get a tricky exchange over the line - she did not stop trying every day and finally it has happened. Big thanks to Louise
