Great sales process but a terrible…
Great sales process but a terrible experience thereon in. I chose the most expensive company to manage my flat while I was travelling as I I wanted to make sure my home was in good hands. Unfortunately, they did nothing to justify the trust I placed in them and I saw no evidence of any of the benefits that you would expect a higher commission to deliver. My flat was kept clean but otherwise it was not well maintained. They had no real way of vetting prospective tenants and it felt like I was just an inconvenience and the tenant was the primary client. And then, to cap it all, they added extra charges at the end of the contract to avoid paying money that was due to me (the charges were either wrong or I had not been advised of them in advance). I would never go near them again.
(A further comment, based on Lavanda's response. It is unfair to place the blame for my dissatisfaction on a 'trusted partner' as the property was managed for the first two months directly by Lavanda. It was then sub-contracted out to the 'partner' who would only have charged me 15% for their services if I had gone to them directly, vs the 25% I was paying Lavanda. And Lavanda were not positioning themselves as a tech company at the time I signed up with them in August 2018, but as a property management firm.)

I was a bit hesitating when my company…
I was a bit hesitating when my company decided to start using a new software but now I can easily allocate cleaning sessions, check-ins, report issues and many other things that were not possible with our previous provider. They also have a lovely team that are always there to respond any questions and listen to our feedback.

They never actively promote so I lost revenue more than what I wouls get by privately renting it.
They have no follow up, they leave you hanging after they take your keys away.

Lavanda Apartment London - Incredibly Disappointing

We had booked 3 weeks from late November 2018 at this accommodation as we wanted to have grand luxurious (Lavanda’s words.) ground floor (due to my wife’s disability) fully service apartment as this was to be our holiday of a lifetime and probably our last overseas. We had not been anywhere since Sydney in 2000 so my wife had been saving for 18 years for this trip oversea (We are Australian). We were bitterly disappointed when we found that our accommodation was none of that. You should know that we had just come from over 3-week cruise on all three of Cunard’s ships – Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and lately the Queen Victoria. So it was a shock to come to this dump especially when you must know that we paid a lot for it.
We complained to Lavanda and its agent, City Relay, however it only offered us token measures to address all our considerable concerns.
Given this, we took our complaint, with considerable number of photos attached (I have over 100 photos), to our travel agent who passed the matter onto Expediate with whom the booking was made.
Expediate obviously agreed with our complaint as they quickly move us to the Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington at NO cost to us. I do not know who paid for this wonderful accommodation but it was not us and I suspect not Lavanda Apartments.
I don’t want to list our many complaints here as I found this whole affair very distressing as I had put in a fair amount of time planning things for this location (That was all down the tube.) and I fell partially down the apartment’s atrocious stairs (pretty galling when it was supposed to be ground floor) when we were leaving and injured my left shoulder and elbow. I am now in mid-January 2019 still have injections and physiotherapy to address my injuries.

Honestly as a home owner i would highly advise you not to use this company for property management , i have been with them for 5 months and i’ve taken a loss on investment each and every single month, my airbnb reviews become so bad that my listing gets paused and now they have partnered with a company named host so simple and their even worse they don’t even respond to emails or phone calls and even when they do their hardly helpful

I have rented my flat through Lavanda…
I have rented my flat through Lavanda and found them to be really helpful and professional. It has made the whole process very stress free for me and they take all their fees from the bookings and so I have not had to directly pay anything, just collect at the end of each booking.
The staff have been really quick to respond to any questions I have had and the app is really good as it allows me to track my bookings and block time out if I want.
I would recommend!

Would highly recommend! From our first meeting with James Robotham, I couldn't fault my experience with Lavanda whilst waiting for my flat to be sold. Good communication with some helpful tips and the flat was always cleaned spotlessly after each set of guests. All the staff I had dealings with were really helpful and friendly making everything run smoothly. Would definitely use again.

We're a family of 5 traveling around the world and this was the perfect place for us in London. The location next to Victoria Park cannot be overstated --- it's amazing! If you like to exercising, or have kids that enjoy nice parks, this place has got it! The nearest convenience store is about a 5-7 minute walk. The apartment itself was spacious and we appreciated the separate bathrooms. The balcony and view of park is also a plus. It was also convenient at times to have UberEats delivery there. Major attractions are only 20-30 minutes away (we took uber). We loved this quiet and relaxing area so much, we extended our stay another 3 days.

I used Lavanda whilst I moved abroad and the sale of my property was going through. At first I felt anxious leaving my property responsible to strangers, but was keen to gain some revenue whilst the property was empty. I cannot fault the level of communication that was offered by the team that reassured me. In turn I was provided with an income and safety of my home.

Seamless and high quality service
Lavanda offers a hassle free way to list your property on Airbnb. It is especially useful when you want to rent your property for an extended period and you are not around to help with the guest transitions. When you come back the property is in a better state than when you leave it and I found the communication to be very good throughout the onboarding and management phases.
