Platinum two-stone diamond ring
I bought a platinum two-stone diamond ring on July 11, 2026 (diamond and fire opal). Originally, it was supposed to be delivered July 22-25. The delivery date ended up being delayed several times. I informed Gemcara that a shipping label was made, but the ring was never delivered to the post office. Gemcara told me they did deliver it to the post office, and USPS must have made a mistake. The next day I saw that the ring was finally delivered to the post office. I do not appreciate being lied to. I intended to give the ring as a gift to a woman that I would be traveling to on August 9, 2026. The ring did not arrive until August 12, 2026. I was not able to give my gift.
When I returned from my trip, I took the ring this morning to a jeweler to have it resized. I was surprised when I was told the diamonds were in fact cubic zirconia, and the gemologist had serious doubts on the fire opal, telling me the structure of stone looked like compressed glass or plastic.
The company is deceitful and fraudulent. I would take your money elsewhere.
